Instead of telling us why THEIR canidate is the better choice, they smear and tarnish the name of a VERY good man and a VERY good Senator from Illinois.

Posted by MCVet

His party and policy do not matter. He is the same as John McSame. There is no such thing as a "good Senator". By their very nature, congress seeks to force us to give them money and do what they want, or else we will be attacked. Such a person cannot be "good" unless one endorses violent coercion and shuns liberty and free markets of opinion.

Blacks just want equal opportunity, something that they have NEVER had. What other races in america were jailed or beaten for learning to read? Blacks have only been fully equal in the US since the civil rights legislation of the late 60''''s. That''''s one generation of true freedom. Whites didn''''t stop being racist back in 1967. They still don''''t hire or pay blacks the same as whites.

Dogsoul is so far from understanding anything you just posted it''s not even funny.

It''s white ignorance at it''s worst...This is how they think : What''s the problem? Someone flipped a switch back in the 60''s and all of the sudden everything''s fair why don''t you blacks get it together. Oh, and vote republican while you are at it...

There are blacks who aren''t doing anything with their lives (just as there are whites) and it''s their own fault for not even trying. However, there are those who work two and three jobs and still can barely get by.

Dogsouls views come from being from the privileged class.... Dogsoul can''t see or understand what the other side is like and will NEVER get it. It''s like me trying to tell a Jewish nazi camp survivor what it''s like to be a Jew. You are wasting your time trying to explain.

It seems obvious that this effort is not really aimed at converting Blacks to McCain as a truly sophisticated public relations would employ a more sophisticated approach- rather these ads intend to inflame racial tension in a manner that would be unacceptable if it came from the McCain campaign but using a Black facade attempts to blur the issue in terms of black vs black.

We need to get beyond the Bush''s and the Clintons. We need someone with a different last name in the white house. Bill Clinton was great but Hillary is no bill clinton. I supported Obama until his recent support of the new fisa legislation. Now I will vote for either Bob Barr or Ralph Nader

People like this are SO sad. Instead of telling us why THEIR canidate is the better choice, they smear and tarnish the name of a VERY good man and a VERY good Senator from Illinois. No wonder we''re so divided! I admire Obama for reaching out and attempting to unite our people... He will be successful and will be a good President.

It is so sad what these people have sunken too! They will never win like this because post like Obama8years and Nazi''s like him turn people off. THEY try to tar a good man and the Senator from a great state for no other reason than they want to keep the "Party" in power. I''m so proud of the Democrat Party and Obama for standing up and trying to make a difference. I''m also so embarrassed that people from other nations have to see the dark hate filled side of America. Obama is going to win, that''s obvious, because under it all American''s are a decent and fair people. THEY do NOT like hate and they do NOT wish to have ANOTHER Bush in the White House because of Swift Boaters or the likes of this group.

dmw1167.....You show a lot of ignorance of Blacks by your post. Blacks don''t need democrats to teach them how to think, blacks can do that on their own. Blacks simply want a equal and fair chance to achieve the same success that whites enjoy. This country has never treated blacks fairly. That''s the problem.

If you remember when Bill Clinton was first elected in 1992, The economy was in terrible shape and crime was up as well as unemployment. When clinton turned the economy around and created jobs for Everyone, Blacks went to work, crime went down and everyone did better.

Blacks just want equal opportunity, something that they have NEVER had. What other races in america were jailed or beaten for learning to read? Blacks have only been fully equal in the US since the civil rights legislation of the late 60''s. That''s one generation of true freedom. Whites didn''t stop being racist back in 1967. ..funny, the only time liberals squeal about spending too much money is when it''''s spent fighting radical Islam who murdered thousands of our people flying planes into the World Trade Center....

No, most liberals favored going after the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Unfortunately, Bush and Co. decided to let AQ and ABL go free, while we went after Saddam, who was their enemy.

michaelt302, you make me laugh. Not all "oreos" are successful people. I know plenty of successful african-americans, who are not afraid of being "black" in the eyes of their peers. I know plenty of "oreos" both democrat and republican. You probably know the type...the ones who try so hard to act "white" that they would bleach their skin if they could and try not to associate with other african-americans. These people also scoff at other black people and call them lazy. Try breaking out of the "hood", when you are making $7.00/hr and trying to escape the violence that exists in the inner city. You want to think that everyone has the same opportunities in life and that it is just a matter of working hard. Working hard is a start and I know folks who are working two jobs to put themselves through school. But there is still discrimination and inequitable treatment towards african-americans.

Obama is a modern-day Marxist.

Castro and Obama share many of the same values and principles for the country''s economy:

1. Redistribute the country''s wealth - Marxism 101

2. Grow the size of the government - Create new departments dedicated to supporting Item 1

3. Blame greedy American corporations for the pains of the US and the rest of the world

4 Increase taxes on those already paying the largest percentage and total amount. The top 1% already pay 39% of all taxes.

5 Nationalize healthcare

6 Campaign on a principle based on appealing to the lower income 50% of the US to despise the rich and convince 45% of the other half that their life is miserable so that once convinced of their doom and gloom, they will support the doomsayer and will want bigger government

7. Convince the public, that America is perceived as evil, thus, hated by the rest of the world.

8. Abandon America''s principle of helping the world rid itself of dictatorships, thus, put our weapons down, throw our arms up, and retreat in shame from Iraq.

9. Support dictatorships throughout the world and elevate them to be recognized by the US as worthy leaders that need to be heard without preconditions - legitimize them

10. Grow the support base by expanding the lowest income class in the country by increasing and broadening entitlements; however, add to that the importation of poverty into the United States by giving Amnesty to well over 20 million illegal aliens in the country. Furthermore, promote this policy in order to attract even more illegal immigration prior to the granting of the amnesty in order to achieve the highest number of "new, uneducated, government-dependent poor class", I call the "new poor".

11. Dictate to Americans that they should be ashamed for using 25% of the world''s energy while only having 3% of the population and that A/C thermostats in should be set at higher than 72 degrees.

12. Give up America''s sovereignty for the "good of the world" and to save the planet from "global warming" by supporting new treaties on international boundaries, not drilling in ANWR or offshore, but standing by while Castro plans to drill off the Florida coast.

13. Campaigning on a message of "change", because it sounds good.

The list can go on and on, as Castro and Obama share many principles for the formula for a failed state, but one in which the party of the "new poor" remains in power through the growth of government. As this party provides more and more entitlements for its citizens and big government prevails, the country becomes less and less productive. Eventually, America''s economy is no better off than Cuba''s. Therefore, Fidel, go ahead and send Obama that box of Cohibas, for he is a Marxist just like you.

If you want to beat Obama you go after him on his politics and on his character. I''m not saying Obama''s character is bad just not presidential. He is to wishy washy. He made a good point about not wearing a flag pin now he wears one. If you believe in something stick to it. Even if everyone disagrees. Stand your ground. Its better to be principled than hypocritical. McCain needs to head this advice too. I have noticed him pandering to the right. Saying things you never thought he would say. That needs to stop! McCain is a moderate. He needs to act like one. If the right doesn''t like him, well they can %^&$ off! McCain needs to stick to the issues he cares about. That way he can draw from his natural passion on the issue. Obama is Kinda screwed in that respect. His issues are liberal and he probably needs to avoid them. He needs to find things Americans care about (Hint: energy cost). Then he needs to figure out a way to get it. Saying I''m for nuclear energy but I''m against nuclear energy is not going to reduce my energy cost. So senator Obama needs to make a choice: he can either get with the program and do something about energy or he can get the hell out of the way.

What they should talk about how Obama is a Marxist, and the damage he will do to the United States is unimaginable.

Dogsoul, you are so smug in your own ignorance. I am no liberal....I was a republican for almost 30 years before becoming an independent. I have observed these situations with my own eyes. And I happen to live in urban area where there is a significant african-american population. So, you can''t tell me that I live in an ivory tower. I see what''s happening on the streets. You anti-liberals like to paint in broad strokes just like the liberals do and can''t see the finer details that really matter. But I suppose that your head is too far up your a-s-s to really see what''s going on or you live in suburbia or a rural area where you can''t see these things for yourself and need to depend on recycled perceptions and old and tired accusations.

Was this a "news article" or an op-ed piece? One thing that''s obvious is Darryl Fears doesn''t like this new development one bit. It''s about as biased an article I''ve seen in a long time, but since the article is about conservatives, no big surprise.
