If any of you limbaugh drones want to contest obama''s qualifications, please hire an attorney and fight it. I would love to see all of you conservative morons to spend your money on a thin unverifiable rumor pushed by wackos trying to increase ratings. Go right ahaed and see what the court system will do to your suit.

"So no one has been able to come up withthe link to the site that has Obama''''s birt cert on it?"

DailyKos had it up for a while (whether they do now or not is unknown to me). Besides, the whole crock about him being African is simply that - crock. He wouldn''t have been allowed to run for President if he wasn''t a born citizen.

"Talk shows are just that...talk. If we weren''''t allowed to voice our opinion in a "talk show" then Rosie, Ellen, Oprah and The View would be taken off the air. A news show should be that...NEWS."

A lot of the people who listen to Rush and O''Reilly are under the impression that it IS news.

Emm2, honey--at least 2 of us have given you the link. I guess you aren''t looking for facts to get in the way of your bias?

And it is humorous that the Dems want the talk shows off the air. Why don''t they have their own shows?

"I believe that you don''''t like to face the facts, Flabear. Or are you Dan Rather in disguise?"

HAH! Not nearly that old. :)

I face what I find to be true, which seems to conflict with what you find to be true. Neither of us are right, nor are we wrong - it''s all perception and perspective.

Are you people so stupid that yoou think that Obamas place of birth was not asked for discussed, and verified before he was even allowed to throw his hat in the ring? The process of qualification comes WAAAAY before the primaries. Obama is not dumb, neithe is the CIA you IDIOTS!! You will belive anything you read as long as it is against OBAMA, and most of you are preconditioned to belive garbage about a black person anyway! Get a brain!!!

Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, never tries to hide his conservatism. He is proud to be conservative. And when he is unsure about one of his sources he is not afraid to say ''''I need to verify this''''
Posted by bobmarisol at 03:21 PM : Jun 30, 2008

Bob, this would be significant if ever, even once, Rush actually verified something. But he doesn''t. He just keeps repeating it and repeating it and repeating it again. Rush''s "verify" is nothing but a sop to the attorneys that have to defend him. It''s like a newspaper calling someone "the accused" or referring to "an alleged" crime--it''s purely a C.Y.A. phrase for Rush.

"The conservative talk show hosts are openly conservative. They never try to hide their conservatism."

I think this is wrong in every sense - both from conservative and liberal reporting. There should be no "conservative" or "liberal" - just the facts, whether they''re sensational or not. We don''t need to know how the host feels politically about the story, nor how they would vote.

I believe that you don''t like to face the facts, Flabear. Or are you Dan Rather in disguise? I used to enjoy listening to him. He had a good TV presence. But when his bosses came out and said that those documents weren''t authentic, what ever admiration I had for him disappeared.
And no matter what, there will never be a candidate that will have 100% backing. It''s a shame that both parties are so far apart that nothing gets done. That is the saddest part.

"The major news networks (NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC) are all liberally biased. On top of that, they try to hide their liberalism."

It''s all a matter of perception and perspective. From what I''ve seen of these networks, they have liberal reporters, not liberal bias.

" didn''''t mean to sound rude or arrogant, but I did want you to understand the difference between the liberal media and conservative talk show hosts."

My stand on that is: The media is only as liberal as the conservative companies that own them. Hosts like Limbaugh and O''Reilly are popular not because they are conservative, but because they generate huge ratings with their tirades. Even you have to admit that there are inconsistencies with Limbaugh''s "reporting".

Anyway, I''''m jealous that you live in Florida. I am originally from West Palm Beach. I hope to go back someday. Do you like FL?

-- I grew up there, but no longer reside. It''ll always be home though. :)

I feel no animosity towards you, and I enjoy being challenged in my views.

The Rathers scandal happened before I really started paying attention to such things, so the details in my mind are fuzzy at best.

I''''m not going to argue Dan Rather''''s integrity. Unlike Rush Windbag, Rathers didn''''t inject his personal politics or ideology into his show.

Is that why he admitted they were NOT authenicated? Is that why he was basically replaced? Because he didn''t let his personal feelings towards Bush interfere with his attempt to discredit Bush''s service record? Of course, all the Swiftboat people had to be lying out their back-sides about Kerry. Give it a rest, Flabear. You''re having trouble either facing the facts or remembering them.

Typical liberal. Doesnt want to talk about an issue that exposes the liberal bias in the media.

Dan Rather always projected his own political ideology into his biased reporting. He was so liberal that he even falsified his stories to push his liberal Democrat ideology.

The difference between Dan Rather and Rush Limbaugh is that Dan tried to project that he was neutral when in reality he was totally liberal.

Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, never tries to hide his conservatism. He is proud to be conservative. And when he is unsure about one of his sources he is not afraid to say ''I need to verify this''

Dan Rather just reports his false stories and tries to push them off as true. That is why he got fired!

I don''t care what he "says" his religion is. The church? he attended all those years hates like a mosque does,...so whats the difference? Obama has WAY to many Islamic "friends" that the public didn''t know about early on in the election. That in itself is enough for me! He''s really starting to make McCain look good. Obama''s gonna make the dems lose this election also.
