- I was going to start my own church but I didn''t want to be just a pastor, I wanted to be god. The problem is, they''re too many of those dam gods running around causing problems.

- These people who vote for Obama. Are they the same idiots that voted for Bush? Obama has no experience and you want him to run the country at this critical time? The American public doesn''''''''t have a clue.

So much for experience!
He had an array of experiences: Minister to Russia, Minister to Great Britain, ten years in the Senate, elected five times to the House of Representatives, Secretary of State for five years. While he was in office the nation increased in size by 33%. Yet, when he was elected as president in 1856, James Buchanan soon acquired the reputation as the worst president in the history of the country. The man who followed him in office only had two terms in the Illinois State Legislature, but Abraham Lincoln had no problem being elected to the presidency. - Reply to this comment

- ". . . he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate."
What a ridiculous stat. Get to know some elected officials and you''ll find out that the time you spend "doing the work" is vastly greater than the time "on the clock."
Furthermore, experience prior to the job can be golden. I know many people in my local political scene and some of the officials who''ve been in office for years are worthless morons but a few of the new officials have brought years of experience in community involvement with them. They have a clue, are in touch with the people, and are far more valuable than the stuffed-shirt, bought off politicians that preceed them. - Reply to this comment

- I WONDER what they call it when obama thinks we have 57 states, or that he had an uncle.
Posted by fenner at 04:57 PM : Jun 02, 2008
He was obviously referring to the number of primaries and caucuses, 57 and in many families a great uncle is referred to as just uncle. Moron. - Reply to this comment

- What an insult to place Reagans name in the same sentence as the other 3. Reagan was a horrible president. His policies are partly to blame for what now ails the US economy.
Posted by neoconism at 04:43 PM : Jun 02, 2008
I''ll second that! Reagan was the 2nd worst president in modern times, with the current Bush moron being the worst! Reagan sucked as president! He was dirty and underhanded and sold weapons to the Iranians in exchange for them keeping our people hostage until AFTER he came into office! - Reply to this comment
- or maybe you are so smart that you see him getting in with half the college votes and the Black community?
