We''re supposed to reject Obama becuase of Wright''s words and Rezco''s financial misdealings but McCain''s associates swim with sharks who actually kill and torture and oppress entire nations.

Can someone explain that moral juxtoposition to me?

Obama consistently states he will not take contributions from %u201CWashington lobbyists%u201D or political action committees...etc." Posted by jack3213

But that is not the topic of this article, unless you are implying that it is wrong for Mr. Obama to have as yet unstated and unproven ties to state lobbyists, but ok for Mr McCain to have publicly documented ties to lobbyists for some of the world''s most brutal dictators...

"In addition to introducing Savimbi to powerful politicians, Black''s team booked him on "60 Minutes" and "Nightline," as part of a media campaign aimed at emphasizing to the public UNITA''s desire for freedom from Angola''s Marxist government."

As pointed out by the media in this article. The link between lobbyists, politicians and the media are fact.

BAN LOBBYING IN D.C.

Let''s see. While Congress was working to oppose the Apartheid regime in South Africa, Black was aiding Savimbi (and his South African sponsors), whose hundreds of thousands of landmines have led to 1000s of amputees in Angola. So not only does McCain not understand foreign policy (appeasement vs negotiations) concepts, his lobbyist staff are unapologetic for their assistance to brutal dictators. McCain, a torture survivor himself, should disassociate himself from people like Black who worked for people like Savimbi who brutally tortured and murdered hundreds of thousands of Angolans.

Everyone whines about Obama being a secret Muslim but they forget that McCain could be a secret Viet Cong, re-programmed by Chinese War Lords when he was in VC custody just like that old movie with Frank Sinatra where they re-programmed those guys in a Korean War camp. Believe you me, if they could think of it in an old Frankie boy rat pack movie back in the early 60''s they could think of it in Nam. And Korea was probably a secret Muslim war too because Korea sounds an awful lot like Koran War doesn''t it? Think about it.

Couldn''t agree more!

I guess these GOP people are so used to corruption from their politicians, it doesn''t mean anything to them.

Obama consistently states he will not take contributions from %u201CWashington lobbyists%u201D or political action committees. But that doesn%u2019t stop him from accepting contributions from state and local lobbyists, and industries that also have broad influence in Washington like the energy and health care sectors and law firms.

Gee, if John McCain fires any more of his "closest advisors'' (A.K.A. Lobbyists) He won''t have any campaign staff left!

I''m beginning to wonder how his rhetoric can differ so darned much from his actions.

Obama is %u201Ccompletely hypocritical%u201D for allowing lobbyists to bundle campaign contributions for him.

%u201CIn Obama%u2019s world, a lobbyist can%u2019t contribute to the campaign, but they can raise money and advise the candidate on policy issues. It%u2019s absurd,%u201D he said.
