Washington Post: Conservative Radio Host's "Operation Chaos" Strategy Urged Listeners To Vote For Clinton

If Rush believes himself to not be a junky then he is in denial. Once an addict always an addict. Perhaps he''s in remission but he sounds far too pathological to be assumed in remission from this one of many maladies he suffers from. Like most right wing neo cons however, I''m sure he assumes the world hates him because of his monetary wealth and everyone wants his money. Right wing neo con republicans are fairly simplistic when it comes to this matter. - Reply to this comment
- l8cr - I think Rush Limbaugh was actually is a former junky, and I don''t say that as a figure of speech. He had to go into rehab after revealing an addiction to Vicadin or some such painkiller, as well as fraud for forging prescriptions to feed his addiction. An addiction is a scourge that I would not wish on anyone, but to condemn addicts on the radio in the most emphatic and compasionless terms as he has, then to reveal that he is a junky himself makes him the worst kind of rotten hypocrite on the planet. I hope he struggles with his junky habit, and regresses hopelessly. I hope he turns out to be another Taggart: another self richeous, Christian wanna-be, meth junky, male prostituting hypocrite.

- umbuddy - I didn''t say it was illegal. I just don''t believe that it''s what the founding fathers intended but no matter. Senator Obama seems to be doing just fine in spite of "Operation Chaos" and the like. :)

Rush is not a former junkie, he is one yet like so many right wing conservative with everyone but themselves sleazy unethical immoral corrupted fascist hypocrites, he stands in judgement of everyone but himself noticing the speck in the eye of others failing to take note of the logs that protrude from all of his fatty lipid laden orifices. - Reply to this comment
- If you democrats are stupid enough to let republicans vote in your primary,
Then its your own stupidity. No regulations were broken, if I choose to vote the other party, it doesn%u2019t mean Rush told me to, I did it so Obama and Clinton could continue
to waste their money on each other. - Reply to this comment
- Hahahah - Beware when Rush Limbaugh is advocating your Dem choice. It''s a bad sign when those who would like the Dems to fail in Nov are not only advocating Clinton over Obama, but using open primaries to skew the vote. Also kind of sad to think that our forefathers died to guarantee our right to vote, and here that right is being used by a sanctimonious, former junky to wage partisan war in the form of "Operation Chaos". Pathetic. We have lost sight sight of what is right versus what is legal.

I know other states have laws prohibiting such promotions before elections. If in fact "Operation Chaos" in Indiana, was promoted by Limbaugh and there are state laws prohibiting such activities. Shouldn''''''''t this be investigated by Indiana State authorities and all findings be given to a local prosecutor? On a Federal Enforcement level, the incident should be looked in to, to make sure that FCC Rules and Regulations were not violated. If violations are discovered%u2026radio owners already operating under probation, their sister stations and affiliates should have their FCC License pulled and their stations shut down. For those other radio stations that aired Limbaugh%u2019s blueprints to upset the electoral process, they too should receive appropriate fines, suspensions or be placed on probation.. If the investigations findings suggest Limbaugh violated Federal, State or Local laws (election related or local legislation prohibiting these actions) and if Limbaugh is still on probation from his narcotics crime spree then it would appear that his probation by law be revoked and he should go to jail and serve time like anyone reading this observation would have to, given the circumstances.

- Honestly, I think that the Democratic voters that defect to the McCain side will ultimately be sorry because the issues that are important to them will be in jeopardy, especially if one more conservative is appointed to the Supreme Court. Republicans have appointed seven of the current nine justices, and no one seems to be alarmed by what this means for our country. A lot of Repubs hated George Bush, but they weren''t about to sacrifice their issues and political standing to vote for a Democrat out of spite and hatred. Call them what you will, but they are unified.

- Hillary won by 2% points. No one is saying it is definate but she gained by 8% from Republican voters voting for her. So if those voters had not voted in the Democratic race for her more than likely (if it is true) Obama would have won IN by 6% points I think.

- Hopefully Rush outsmarted himself. There would be nothing better than him being a major factor in his party''s loss. I say we should petition to have the charge he got out of without arrest or penalty reinstated. The one where he was caught with someone else''s Viagra on a plane.
