Comments on: Obama Catches Clinton On Capitol Hill
Washington Post: Dem Rivals Have Equal Number Of Endorsements From Party's Senators, Representatives
- The poll that really count is the on on election day. Do you honestly think Clinton can win after her dirty campaign? If Clintonis the nominee, then a lot of Democrats will be sitting home election day, including me. Then we will see who is unelectable.

I agree. But I think she realizes that she''s not going to get the nomination and is just staying in the race to do as much damage to Obama as possible so McCain will win and she can run again in 2012. that said, if the party hands her the nomination in some backroom deal at the convention then I can''t see any reason why I should leave the house on election day either. - Reply to this comment
- She should find out who came up with this ridiculous photo-op and take them outside and shoot them.

- PLEASE WAKE UP DEMOCRATS%u2026..Obama is the combination of Rev Wright and Rezko. This rookie is DISHONEST and DISGRACE. He can say anything to get elected, but please don%u2019t be fooled by salesman. If he is the nominee, the republicans will eat him alive. We, as the Democrats, deserve better!

- It is incredible that Democratic politicians would consider that Obama can pull off the election in November when he hasn''t won New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Massachusetts and other Democratic strongholds, etc!!! Now that his elitist posture has been uncovered and his unsavory connection to Rev. Wright has decimated his candidacy, it is astonishing that superdelegates would declare for Obama. Obviously, these idiots have been bought off with something because they are certainly not acting reasonably in light of Obama''s tanking poll numbers.

- Obama needs to be on the ticket. He might think all his purty talk and finally coming to his senses re: Wright has fixed everything...(he''s just that arrogant),and now his wife says she''s ''tired of all this'' constant replaying of Wright ranting about hating white people and America and all...(bless her heart....she''s not used to not having sunshine blown up her hiney every where she goes)...so...please put him on the ticket. This has been the MOST entertaining election year EVER!!!!
Wright, Ayers, and all his socialist-leaning politics will be Obama''s downfall, but please let him continue to entertain. - Reply to this comment
- Gallup Daily: Clinton 49%, Obama 45%... Hillary up by 4% vs. McCain... McCain vs. Obama is tied. Obama = unelectable.

You''re intentionally missing the point. To have a truck like that gas hog (and no very few people in the heartland have monsters like that) in a story about high gas prices is a blunder of monumental proportions. She should find out who came up with this ridiculous photo-op and take them outside and shoot them. - Reply to this comment

She has a Secret Service detail with her, along with some other people. I don''t think they''d all fit in a VW Beetle.
Alot of people in America''s heartland drive trucks. Nothing "elitist" about it.
If that''s the most important complaint you have about Hillary today, then I''d say the nomination is hers for sure. - Reply to this comment
- Riding in a truck was exactly right! Go to your cities! People are buying doolies to drive 10 blocks to work. In every city, go down row after row of housing additions...big trucks are everywhere!
What a great way to get in touch with the voters!

ROTFLMFAO!!!! That''s right! Her new campaign slogan "Fight high gas prices by everyone buying Hummers and don''t forget to ask your Secret Service detail or maid what the price of gas really is like I have to!" LOL! - Reply to this comment

- Riding in a truck is now "elitist" ? Perhaps she should have ridden a bicycle.... LOL LOL

Riding in a massive gas hog for 45 mins for a photo op about high gas prices is, to say nothing of just plain ignorant. What an incredible blunder. - Reply to this comment
- She could not possibly have appeared more out of touch and elitist.

- Well its great to see senator Obama has caught Hillary in the super delegate race. To me it shows that the super delegates are seeing that things like wright, and other stuff can be handled well by senator obama and are showing that Obama is going to be a great leader.
Also yeas I found it very ironic that Clinton rode to a factory in a huge ford f-350 with the way gas is lets think about that. - Reply to this comment
- Does anyone else find it ironic that Senator Clinton "rode to work with a blue collar worker" in a giant F350 pickup followed by a caravan of 9 Chevy Suburbans for a photo op about gas prices? How so very Republican of her.

The very idiocy of her using that truck in a photo op to "protest" high gas prices is reason enough not to vote for her. It''s her Dukakis in a tank or George H.W. being fascinated by a supermarket scanner moment. She could not possibly have appeared more out of touch and elitist. - Reply to this comment

Bull! Mr. Obama was honking that all the votes should count until somebody whispered in his ear that he broke the DNC rules in both those states and any votes he tried to claim would be contested. Then he shut the hell up, and refused a re-vote. Then he tried to shill HIllary Clinton with his demand for a 50/50 split of the delegates! lol Hillary told him no deal!
Smart cookie she is! - Reply to this comment
- Obama needs to get out and let a real democrat get on with winning the presidency.
We''''ve lived 8 years in total unrest by the extreme right wing, and sat back and let them rape the country.
Now, Mr. Obama SOUNDS real good after all that, I''''m sure. But Mr. Obama and his freakoid anti=American supporters want to take us all the way to the other end of the spectrum to the far left, using grievance and liberation ideology, just like Bush used right wing conservative ideology.
Get a clue people! We cannot survive without a two-party system. We need our republican party and our democratic party working together to keep the balance of power and wealth distributed, NOT DIVIDED!
Mr. Obama and Mr. Bush are both EXTREMISTS who will use unrest and hate to keep us divided for their own *** agendas! - Reply to this comment
- It wasn''''t Obama that told FL and MI to go to hell, that was the DNC including both Clintons so believe the spin if you want, but like the "gas tax holiday", it''''s political B S. Leave it to the looser to try to change the rules. I guess that makes her a "fighter"? Hmmmm.
Posted by EddyNewHope at 01:32 PM : May 01, 2008
100% correct. Hillary was more then happy to agree to disenfranchise MI and FL votes when she was still under the delusion that the Democratic primary was really nothing more then her coronation tour. Once she realized that Obama was going to be the party members choice then all of a sudden she flip flopped like a republican. - Reply to this comment
