Washington Post: Leaders To Seek Quick End After June Primaries To Avoid Further Damage
- Hillary''s new momentum is not so much a result of her image improving - Obama''s image is now damaged. He was once the "rock star" of the DNC; now, thanks to Hillary (many thanks), we see Obama for who he really is. Say what you will about Hillary, but she exposed Obama''s weaknesses as a candidate, and by doing so she has done a sevice for all of us.
I hate to say this, but Hillary might be correct in stating that SHE, not Obama, is the stronger candidate to go against McCain. We already know the good, bad, and ugly of Hillary and McCain - but we''re just now learning about Obama, and it ain''t pretty. - Reply to this comment
- I find it funny that the Dems cant pick between their two liberal loser candidates. I guess the problem is that they are both so alike - they both want to surrender Iraq to Al Queda, they both want to raise taxes, they both oppose capitalism, and they both harbor an elitist view of themselves.
I guess the only real difference is that Obama is more open about his hatred for America - he is friends with William Ayers, who admitted bombing the Pentagon, and his spiritual leader is Rev. Wright, who thinks America is evil.
Hillary is better at hiding her hatred for America. But she did let is shine when she called General Petraus a liar just because he said the USA is winning the war in Iraq. - Reply to this comment
- Patriotism:
Well according to Dubya, Cheney, Rummy, Rove, Gonzales, Limbaugh, Gates, Tenet, etc, etc,.
You cannot be a patriotic American unless you are white, born-again Christian, Republican conservative(I think McCain likes those same rules) it doesn''t matter if you volunteered for WWII, Korea, Viet-Nam, Gulf I or II, gave a your life, your leg, your arm, your mental capabilities, if you are a liberal?, Democrat etc--you cannot be patriotic. All of this from a bunch of chicken hawks that never served a day.
Limbaugh got an exemption because he had a pimple on his *a*s*s* that a veternarian could have cured in 10 seconds!!! Dubya was too spaced out on coke, Cheney quote "Had better things to do". - Reply to this comment

- Once again, the Democratic party shows itself to be an impotent force in the lives of the typical American by its'' leaders miscalculation of the effects of this prolonged fight between Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama.
In the end, Mr. Obama will get the nomination. But, his chances in the general election will be greatly reduced.
If Mrs. Clinton is given the nod in a betrayal of the parties'' members, she''ll LOSE! As such a majority of Mr. Obama''s supporters will most assuredly vote against Mrs. Clinton!
Do the party leaders really believe that Mrs. Clinton with negative likability numbers hovering around 54%, really believe she can win?! She''s such a hated figure---now, it''s not only from the right but from her own party as well!
Superdelegates need to declare NOW! Get the primaries over and move on! - Reply to this comment
- IF YOU IMAGINE FOR A MINUTE OBAMA A WHITE MAN- AND SPEAKING TO A LARGE GROUP OF BLACK PEOPLE- DO YOU ACTUALY THINK OBAMA WOULD BE AS POPULAR? IF HILLARY WAS A WHITE MAN SHE WOULD BE LAUGHED OUT OF POLITICS. MCCAIN SPEAKS TO ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE AND HAS A HEALTHY BALANCE OF SUPPORTERS, NOT BECAUSE OF HIS COLOR OR GENDER. THE DIVISIVE COUNTRY WILL CONTINUE NATURALLY AS LONG AS THERE IS AN UNQUALIFED BLACK MAN ORA NON CREDIBLE WHITE WOMAN ON THE TICKET. CREDIBILITY, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIANCE REALLY DO MATTER.

- Hillary''s momentum reflects the transformation of her image from a vague name recognition to a real knowledge of who she is specifically. Her trajectory has been decidedly downward. The more people get to know her, the less they like her. PA was her last gasp, that brought her only 10 more delegates, and that is insignificant compared to how far she is behind by any metric. So, now she argues that numbers are not the measure, but the psychology of switching Super Delegates is what will give her a win. The disenfranchisement of that many voters would ensure a McCain victory. Republicans have always viewed her as the candidate that can unite the fractured Republican base, and revive their fundraising. That''s why the right-wingers are crossing over to vote for Hillary, making up small but significant percentage of her alleged popular vote totals. If the other side was voting for me because they thought I was weak, or that I would destroy my own party, I would step aside and cheer on the front-runner. The fact that Hillary is selfishly bringing the party down with her shows us the depth of the flaws in her character and judgment.

- BLACK AMERICANS HAVE DIED ON EVERY BATTLE FIELD AMERICA HAS BEEN ON, - blackspirit3
Indeed they have. I think back to 1968 in Vietnam (1stMarDiv) and how the black Marines kept up the team work with us white guys and did''nt let the murder
of Rev.DR King affect them or the mission. Semper Fi
to Back Marines past & present! - Reply to this comment
- THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE DEMOCRATS WILL NOT ONLY DIVIDE THE PARTY BUT DESTORY IT. THE MATURE, RESPONSIBLE AND NOBLE THING IS FOR ONE TO DROP OUT. SINE THEY HAVE NO SELFLESS CONCERNS FOR THE USA AND BANK ON POPULARITY INSTEAD OF QUALIFICATIONS, THEY WILL BOTH LOSE. PITY. A DUEL TICKET IS MORE OF A DISASTER.

- Hey, Blackspirit3: Those are injustices, perpetrated by ignorant people. They are double standards, created by a ruling class that wants to separate the american people. Hitler did these type of things to separate the germans into classes, then he took out the minorities one by one. These things are wrong and we both know it, but they are planned by a relatively small faction of ignorant, power hungry mongrels. It would be racism if all of society supported these actions; rest assured we don''t! Good post overall, I feel your anger and understand where you''re coming from.

- Hillary is not going to "dtop out". She''s worked all her life for this. She is not going to let it go. Her entire political career was for this. All the *** she endured from her lying, cheating husband was for this. She is not going to let this get away.
And if she does win the nomination, McCain will have to endure the same thing that Obama is enduring right now - Reply to this comment
- Hello BlackSpirit
your predjudice against Black People should is just not acceptable anymore in our modern American Society,
yes Black People can lose an Election and Its allright,
Black People don`t have to be good Basketball Players and its allright.
the Old Kennedy School train of thought that all Black People should be Pitied is no longer in Fashion.
so all Americans need to take responsibilty for their destinies and not blame others for problems and failures.
funny thing about Bears is they all act the same wether Brown, Black or White (polar),
actually very buddy loves the Black and White Panda,
and there is a yellow or cream colored and cinnamon colored
anyway there are just alot of different colored bears in the World
sincerely pulling for the oppressed Bear

You turn more people off with this kind of trash. You have no influence at all. If I was on the fence, you would have changed my vote to Hillary. You do more to hurt black people than anyone. - Reply to this comment

- Hello National News Readers
well at least we don`t have to worry about the Kennedy run Black Caccus any more, what with the Mexican Brown vote and all things just aren`t Black and White any more.
Now we need to find a Candidate that isn`t bitter and can meet the needs of All Americans, you know,
the Green, Blue, and Purple ones !
there is only one wish I have as an Independent
if the Federal Election ballet could carry the third party choice of
None of The Above
I would feel as a voter, like I was being represented,
yes we can dream , that perhaps we can have a
None Of The Above candidate, in the White House
Sincerely waiting for the future Bear

- BLACK AMERICANS HAVE DIED ON EVERY BATTLE FIELD AMERICA HAS BEEN ON, AND OUR PATRIOTISM IS QUESTIONED. WHITE AMERICANS CAN CUSS POLICE OUT, BUT A BLACK MAN BETTER NOT, WHITE MEN CAN BURN THE FLAG, BUT BLACK MEN BETTER WEAR THE LAPEL, WHITE MEN CAN BLOW UP FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS IN OKLAHOMA, THEIR IS NOT A HISTORY OF ONE BLACK MAN BLOWING UP ANYTHING IN AMERICA, YET OUR PATRIOTISM IS QUESTIONS? IF THATS NOT RACISM, THEN WHAT IS? THE SO CALLED WEATHER MEN WAS PARDONED BY BILL CLINTON - A PARDON IS AMERICA''S FORGIVENESS. WE FORGAVE THOSE WHITE PEOPLE WHO ATTEMPTED TO BLOW UP AMERICA BASES, YET WE QUESTION OBAMA PATRIOTISM BECAUSE HE ATTENDED A CHURCH? IF THIS IS NOT RACISM, THEN WHAT IS? WE WATCHED BILL CLINTON BASICALLY MOLEST AND RAPE WOMEN FOR OVER 40 YEARS, YET WHITE WOMEN DISTRUST OBAMA A MARRIED MAN WITH TWO DAUGHTERS HE WOULD DIE FOR? IS THATS NOT RACISM, THEN WHAT IS?
