You left out the anti-American party leader, Barak Obama and all the blah blah blah, except he''s not and never will be our next president.

I can believe it, about the war plans already in place. The WMD''s was a bone we threw to the UN to get support. I too was sick and tired of Saddam and his sons, doing whatever they wanted. Thumbing their noses at the U.S., firing on our aircraft and not abiding by the cease fire agreements of Gulf-War-1

I''m not a sexist or a racist and I used to like Hillary and Obama equally, but as the campaign wore on Hillary''s " win at any cost " tactics and increasing negativity toward Obama seemed to hurt the Democratic Party to the point that it appeared she was helping the Republicans by doing their work for them. Besides, her "I''m entitled to win " attitude really turned me off to voting for her in the primaries. I support Obama because generally his messages have been positive and, until recently, he has refrained from negative attacks on Clinton, but I can understand after constant assaults it was time to fight back.

Most importantly. We now have many excellent bases inside IRaq to launch attacks on surrounding countries. Prior to Iraq war, we had to ask permission from Saudi''''s to use their air bases. Not any more. Makes more sense than Oil for friends.

Ask yourself. Why do we want to attack the Middle East? Why would we even need bases there, if Bush/Cheney would stop created hate and chaos over there.

You are stretching reason pretty far to think they thought all that up to help some Oil friends. How about he was tired of all the no-fly zone, Saddam putting a hit on his father, Pre-emptive strike to make sure he didn''''t put a nuke on NY. and so on. makes more sense than the oil friend thing.

Don''t fool yourself. The plan to invade the Middle East was on Bush''s desk the day he stepped into office. Put there by Karl Rove himself, who helped draft it, along with the other New World Order whack jobs promoting Poppa Bush''s Manifest Destiny beliefs.

They were just sitting and waiting for 9/11 to get there. Just one of those things that make you go hmmmmm....

We reserve the right to pre-emptively destroy any Dictator or country that IS or MAY BE a threat to the United States. We don''''t need permission to defend ourselves, especially from the UN

Trouble is, Iraq was not a threat to the US, didn''t have any WMD''s, but didn''t want anybody to know he didn''t have any. The other trouble is Bush and Cheney knew he didn''t have them anymore, they just FORGOT (in their desire for the Iraqi oil) to tell anybody else about it.

I bet the reason is that he sees that Clinton will not be the nominee, and he doesn''''t want to anger Clinton backers and hopes to get the Hillary anti-Obama voters on his side. Maybe..just a thought

You could be right. Because most of us won''t cast a vote for Obama, that''s for *** sure.

Yo Tex..How much OIL have we gotten out of Iraq ? HOW MUCH !!! none is the answer. So this BS about war for oil is a bunch of bull Sh.

WE haven''t gotten any, that''s the point. At this time the American oil producers and consultants are getting most of it (supposedly) to re-structure the Iraq oil fields and get them producing!

Another whack job Bush deal lining the pockets of his friends.

Can someone answer me a question about Hillary Clinton please? How come she voted to give authority to Bush to go to war against Iraq even though she didn''''t (and admitted to it) even read the paperwork on the bill? She gave a blanket OK to the CIC to go to full scale war with another sovereign nation and yet didn''''t read the supporting documents before giving her vote... can someone explain to me how this is even REMOTELY a presidential thing to do?

Answer me that.

Several reasons. But first she did read the executive summary of the document which left out all the pertinent points, as testified by many other legislators who read it.

Secondly, the whole of the US was crying for war anywhere in the Middle East, they didn''t much care where. Hillary''s constituents above all others wanted vengeance.

Thirdly, we didn''t know what might hit us next. And 529 other legislators as well as HIllary gave the president the power to protect this country, very reluctantly, but felt it was necessary.

Bush took it and ran for the oil in Iraq.

It''s that simple.

CANYOUTELLME, I can tell you. These bills and legislation can be hundred or thousands of pages long and many Senators and House Members never actually read the Bills they vote on. By the way. The reason for the Iraq war was that Saddam Hussein did not abide by the cease fire & surrender agreements of the Gulf-War-1. Hillary and Bill always put their finger in the air to see which way the wind was blowing and vote that way. In this case, it was post 9/11 and pre-emptive strike on Iraq was in order. They have no core beliefs.
