Washington Post: As Pennsylvania Vote Nears, Clinton Criticizes Rival's Negative Turn
- The Clinton campaign now wants to resort to fear touting Pearl Harbor, Osama Bin Laden, and the Berlin Wall? Why didn%u2019t her campaign use more recent event during the Clinton administration like the bombing of the USS Cole (October 12, 2000) or the US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania (August 7, 1998)?! I%u2019ll tell you why, because the Clinton administration showed inaction on those events. Now Hillary has the audacity to use fear mongering? Hillary%u2019s now pandering to the old and scared (hence the reference to Pearl Harbor). Think about it.

- Listened to a few soundbites on the News about Obama speaking to a group of Jewish people, telling them how he disagreed with Carter and that we must not negotiate with a known terrorist organization and they applauded him%u2026take that context and recall previous dialogue to an entirely different audience how we need to negotiate with Iran and Syria. So which Obama do you believe?

WOW...way to draw a completely invalid comparison here friend. Hamas is an obscure militant political power. Syria and Iran are major regional powers. So, I believe the Obama who stated exactly what you quoted, only without the passionate, distracting, erroneous commentary you seem to play at. - Reply to this comment
- by the way. The war is now won, Saddam and his sons are gone, The surge worked great, we have bases in Iraq to launch more attacks. Dems lost

Oh...so you feel better now? Was it worth it? I lost friends on 911, but I don''t let revenge consume me to the point that I''d sacrifice my countrie''s world image and our moral high ground. 4000 lost in Iraq. More in Afghanistan. That''s many more of our bravest lost than our friends in 911. It''s a basic cost/benefit analysis that while cold and callous, may be just the level of sensitivity to appeal to you. Wake up Joe...our soldiers need you to. - Reply to this comment

Let%u2019s face it, anyone that believes Barack is believing in the myth. This man will say and do anything to get elected. What%u2019s sad is that so many people are getting duped and they don%u2019t even know it or refuse to believe it; they are drinkin%u2019 the Kool Aid.
Just like his disrespect for the flag only to plaster his backdrop with wall to wall flags, just like his lame excuse for not wearing an American flag on his lapel and now wearing one after yet another lame attempt to give reason to now feel it appropriate to wear one, and his distancing himself from Rev. Wrong but all the while not really distancing himself at all, and just like his distancing himself from Louis Farrakhan yet showing no discontent for his church giving The Nation of Islam, a lifetime achievement award%u2026just what kind of drug are these people on%u2026
So it%u2019s clear to me, this man%u2019s words are just that, words. - Reply to this comment

Go out to the planes bringing body bags home and every day and tell those people how well the surge is f.....king working, you idiot! - Reply to this comment
- RowdyTexan.....Correct. There must be more to this Iraq thing than what has been put out there.
There is some reason Bush was so quick to try to divert our attention away from OBL. - Reply to this comment

- NO..!. How about this whole war would have been wrapped up already if the Democrats would not have undermined the war effort like the "fifth Column" (look it up) and tied everyone''''s hands with AbuGrab, etc. all because the Dems wanted to be back in power so badly, so they sacraficed the U.S. military efforts.

We wrapped up that *** war in less than a week! What the hell are you talking about!
The occupation of Iraq is the stupidest move EVER! Bush thought he could just waltz in and the Iraqi''s would welcome a takover of the country and let them steal everything they have!
The Iraqi''s aren''t dumb people even if they some are extremists! They knew EXACTLY what Bush/Cheney were coming for! - Reply to this comment
- JoeCool.....Wrong. This would have been wrapped up by now if we had actually kept looking for Bin Laden and not diverted our attention, troops, and money to Iraq.
Bush dropped ball and you are making excuses for him. Bush stood in front of the american people and LIED to us. He said the guilty would pay for 911 and he has turned his back on this country so he can line the pockets of his Haliburton buddies.
And that''s a shame that has caused the deaths of over 4,000 american troops in Iraq for NOTHING. He has no conscience. If I were Bush I couldn''t sleep at night because I would be so guilt ridden.
He is nothing short of evil and I also blame the democrats who went along with this like Hillary. In fact Hillary is even worse than Bush because she is smart enough to know better but went along for political points. - Reply to this comment

Exactly! We have how many megatons of bombs! What other stupid country in the world is going to attack us!
To me, that is one reason I cannot buy into the attack on the WTC on 911 by some **** ant radicals in the Middle East! They HAD to know they would be toast! And that''s one reason I''ve always suspected that 911 was IN FACT an inside job! - Reply to this comment
- good night, keep dreaming your Anti-Bush dreams, until you hear of an attack and your loved ones have been killed by something that could have been prevented by action. Not in-action and wussyness, Action. Sit back libs, and get hit again. Have a good night

- JoeCool....Exactly! Reagan had the good sense to know that as long as we had the biggest bombs, no one would bother us, including the Soviet Union.
There is no way saddam and his third-world country would have ever attacked us because they knew that we would wipe them off the face of the earth.
Iraq was never and has never been a threat to the most powerful country in the world. And for you to suggest so is an insult to my intelligence.
Bush was too dumb to know that this would be a huge MESS. And that''s exactly what it is. We are spending billions every week of tax payers money and for WHAT? - Reply to this comment

OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS....(Why doesnt the News Report this!!!) Same reason they didnt report rev wright till a year later.
If Barack Obama didn%u2019t know about Abunimah%u2019s writings (and Abunimah says he did), the same as his claims of being unaware of Reverend Wright%u2019s remarks after 20 years, then Obama is not competent to be our President. Abunimah likes to lie and claim Al Awda has nothing to do with the ISM or Electronic Intifada, though plenty of evidence exists on the website the homepage at www.StoptheISM.com showing the contrary.
But Obama%u2019s association with the ISM through his church and lobbying in Chicago goes even deeper than just his past links to Al Awda and Ali Abunimah. His pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, are both equally involved with the ISM. - Reply to this comment
- Concorde...If you did not know, we actually went to war with Iraq in 1990, when they invaded Kuwait. In 2000''''s Saddam Hussein did not abide by the cease fire surrender agreements of the Gulf-War-1, such as inspectors, no-fly zone, etc. He flaunted that and did not abide by the agreements, so we had all the rights in the world to Strike again. We were the winners of Gulf-War-1, so he does what we say or be gone.

That''s where you''re wrong! Hussein did cooperate with theh inspectors, and the inspectors knew he didn''t have WMD''s and sent a report to Bush and Cheney saying so! Yet Bush and Cheney were seizing on any excuse to go into Iraq, pro''bly even putting our planes in more places than the fly zones to draw fire as an excuse!
Bush and Cheney had EVERY intention to go into Iraq, one way or another, and they LIED to it!
It''s that simple. They should be tried for fraud and war crimes! - Reply to this comment
- We were prepared to bomb the USSR, russia was not a country then. Reagan had the US strong and the Soviets knew that if they messed with us, they would be destroyed, as we may have been. I can''t even talk about this if you are such a passivist. I am from New York and we lost 3,000+ Friend and Family, because Clinton sat back and didn''t actively prevent the planning and plotting of our destruction. We will not sit back and be hit again. Not as long as Republicans are in charge. And...we have not been hit since 9/11. Thanks to Bush
