- Thank you taddles
I concur and it seems my gut reaction to Obama is a valid one. He is just what this country needs and I am anxious to follow the election.
Have a nice day. I appreciate your input. - Reply to this comment
- I keep hearing this Carl Rove directed trash about Obama being too articulate, too convincing, too well liked, too unifying...what the he11 do you think a President is supposed to be? Exactly that.

-Had Obama been Republican, he''d be voted God to replace Jeasus. Too bad for them, he''s a democrat and too bad Clinton cannot appreciate this blessing of having him among us... - Reply to this comment

You do know that being "first lady" in no way confers that she was involved with any policy making or foreign affairs or anything political except the health care issue to which she was appointed chair by Bill. I don''t disagree that she has enough experience to be President, since the present office holder has the most dismal resume of any president in modern history.
Being President is not about experience, it is about wisdom and good judgment. No one person can ever be an economics genius, a legal genius, a political genius, a foreign affairs genius, a military genius. The president appoints "experienced" people to do those specific things that his/her broad direction demands.
The office of President is about leadership, it is about inspiring the citizenry to be their best, it is about making choices wisely that affect the world. I keep hearing this Carl Rove directed trash about Obama being too articulate, too convincing, too well liked, too unifying...what the he11 do you think a President is supposed to be? -What credibility can she have when most old politicos have died or not in power anymore. The only reputation she got is she is not capable to retain her husband from sneaking around the white house interns... Not so good reputation. She will be pitied, belittled and not taken seriously. - Reply to this comment

What an inane comment! So if my spouse is a brain surgeon and I''ve been married to them for 8 years and have even observed many operations, are you going to let me operate. Not on my brain. - Reply to this comment

Originally I was an Edwards/Biden supporter, I like Edwards straight talk and directness and Bidens unparalleled qualifications. However, it became clear that experience wasn''t at issue this election. Then I supported Hillary because she is smart, articulate and "seemed" to be wise. When she sent Bill out in attack dog mode (a mode I had never seen before and didn''t like) I thought that my earlier assessment of wisdom might be in error.
Then I got dragged to an Obama rally by a friend and sat through the dismal band opening for him expecting the standard political drivel. I was expecting a good speaker as I had seen his speech at the Dem convention in ''06 and thought he was very eloquent but I wasn''t expecting to get blown away. I was completely stunned by the things he said and the way he said them. For me he seems trustworthy, articulate, intelligent, thoughtful and sincerely concerned about the present state of the US and it''s citizens.
I voted for Obama in the caucuses and would like to vote for him again as the Dem nominee. However, if Hillary wins the nomination, I will gladly vote for her with no reservations. - Reply to this comment

- The more Hillary agues about experience, the more she is disqualified. How with all her so called experience is she unable to run a smooth, positive campaign??. She wants to be the Queen before coronation and any person in her way is a nuisance. That is not the way in a democratic system. She even wants to change the rules of her party. Why??, because she thought she was the anointed one. That is pride before the fall. Hillary has used this primary to damage herself irrecoverably and she has damaged the democratic party all by herself. Obama has shown maturity and restraint not to return fire with fire in order to save their party and for posterity. He never attacked her, only gives measured response to her attack. There is an ancient saying'' when the wind blows you see the back side of the rooster'' Before then it is always beautifully covered. The wind has blown, we have seen the really Hillary.

- Oh I see, all we need is Charisma to win the rest of the World over? We need someone with alot more than just Charisma. We need someone with experience in dealing with foreign affairs and Obama is not the one.

- Let''''s step up and look at the actual issues and ways to solve our problems instead of the current popularity contest.

-Isn''t that terrible! shelleyt3, of course. I said later that Obama a real typhoon, He sweeps everystate he touches. He turned most of the pro-Hillaries, he reached out to into some good supporters of his. The last streak of wins are good proof.
-Negotiating needs a Charisma that Clinton does not have, Barrack is full of it. He is young and full of energy and that is exactly what is needed here. His election platform is great and he already is hitting great noise with the Americans because of his constant position about the war in Iraq. Remarkably enough, he''s the only one who''s standing by his initial position (except for RonPaul) regarding the war.
-His approach to a constructive dialog between nations is admirable. The best indication for such support is the result of abroad votes that he won yesterday. This is very indicative of the feeling Americans have while in direct touch with Humans on the other side of our borders. I have no doubt about the capacity of Hilary for such feelings, but Obama is the one given the mixity of his origins. He will come up with such consensual and diplomatic solutions that will not cripple our economy with debts, like the actual Walking-Liar did. It''s more than time to change our Gorilla percieved-image, worldwide. Obama is more credible for that purpose. - Reply to this comment
- The rate at which naive Americans are getting in line to throw their support behind Obama is frightening! Senator Clinton is right on the money. Obama does not have the experience to lead our nation and I for one, refuse to follow him should he win the Democratic nomination. That''s not to say I will vote for McCain instead. What I am saying is that I just won''t show up at the polls to vote on November 4th. I will forfeit my right to vote for that day rather than supporting these two fools!

Who do you recommend? I can have a change of heart if it makes sense. I just like listening to Obama. As I said , he''s entertaining.
Bush was never my kind of guy. He''s not very bright and certainly couldn''t be considered articulate and/or well-spoken.
Anyway, Obama is mentally equipped for the job, and just might do okay. As I said earlier, I really don''t think it matters anymore except that a brand new outsider might be refreshing. - Reply to this comment
- The fact that this woman would garnish any American taxpayers'' wages to support and prop up these corrupt insurance companies says everything about her I need to know. Americans need HEALTH CARE, repeat HEALTH CARE!!!! -- NOT INSURANCE!!! JEEZ!!! Is she really THAT stupid???

That''s what people said 8 years ago..sure you want that again? I think even the conservatives are embarrassed with how badly Georgy turned out.
How about someone articulate this time, someone who actually earned their college degree, someone who''s resume doesn''t look like a list of natural disasters. - Reply to this comment
