Washington Post: Growing Urgency To Deal With Delegates From States Sanctioned For Holding Early Primaries
- roxy000 Your comments are so ignorant. Barack''s father left him and his white mother when he was just two years old. Barack was never raised as a Muslim - he is and always has been a Christian. Besides not all Muslims are terrorists so stop spreading hatred and lies. You sound like an ignorant, uneducated bigot. Also to those of you who think that because blacks are supporting Barack they are racists, does that mean if you vote for someone white you are racist? Barack has plenty of support in white America - he carried Wasington, Nebraska, North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Alaska all with over 68% of the vote and those states are 98% white.

- Why should there be a problem with not seating Michigan and Florida? These states had a choice - they knew when they moved their primary up in violation of the National Party''s rules that they would be stripped of their delegates. They chose to hold their primary anyway and now they are crying about it because Hillary is losing! Cheaters!!

- Thank you Jason101othe. But even more important is what gives the Dems or Reps the right to dictate rules in a taxpayer paid Michigan primary election? My tax dollars paid for that election. If it had been a Dem or Rep paid caucaus then they would have the right to make the rules.
In addition, for those of you who claim that Obama pulled his name from the ballot while Clinton didn''t and so it wasn''t fair to Obama. Obama ran television ads prior to the primary telling his supporters to vote uncommitted at the primary. The results were 50% Clinton and 40% uncommitted. Clinton didn''t campaign here in Michigan at all. No ads, no visits. But this honest and trustworthy Obama who said he wouldn''t campaign in Michigan ran the campaign ads. - Reply to this comment

They made rules about caucus sites in August, and when it looked like Barack would win they tried to change the rules to benefit Hillary.
Barack and John Edwards took their name off the ballot because they were supporting the party decision, and now they want to count these votes when he wasn''t even on the ballot! Cheaters!!! - Reply to this comment
- That is a crying shame for millions of voters to be completely disenfranchised by the DNC. The number of votes that Hillary won over Obama in Michigan and Florida amounts to hundreds of thousands! That''s a total of votes that amounts to more votes than were cast for several of the stats that Obama won! Let every voice be heard and every vote counted. I''m sure that Obama decided to have his name taken of the MI ballot at the last moment because he knew he wouldn''t win MI. And so what if they didn''t campaign in FL; the elections are all National televised, sent over radio, through papers. Only a small percentage of people from any state make it to the actual rallies. Clinton won by hundreds of thousands of votes. That should not be ignored.

- Roxy, why the hell should it matter if Obama is muslim? He''s probably more capable of running the country than the moron who occupies the WH right now, and he''s a so called christian.

- "Michigan Democrats long argued that the party needed a major industrial state playing an early and influential role in the nominating process."
What a joke, Michigan hasn''t been an industrial state since the auto factories closed and moved out in the 70s. - Reply to this comment
- Who is racist?!! Obama won Louisiana by 85% of the blacks votes and only %25 of the whites!!

- People who think Obama is a Muslim or a terrorist sympathizer just because of his name wouldn''t vote for him anyway so good riddance. Take your racism and ignorance elsewhere. Stick with the Republican party and McCain. That''s where racist and ignorant people belong.

- "Senator Obama for not fully participating."
This is an exaggerated statement. He did not participate. There are 2 points that should be mentioned. The first is that party rules should be respected. The problem stemmed when the 2 states violated the rules set by the national party. If all states do this, there will be no credibility to the national party. The 2nd point is that candidates have the right to campaign. There cannot be an agreement on not to campaign, in accordance with the measures set by the national party, and then requiring to validate the results by the winner in the non-contested primaries. This is hypocrisy. A win should be fair. Those who want to violate the rules should convince their candidates to run as independents. In this case, there will be no party rules to follow. - Reply to this comment
