Washington Post: Democratic Candidate Confronts Ethnic Tensions In Bid For Votes
- Mr. Grossland,
You''re absolutely correct. Whoever our nominee is, if they are elected then comes the matter of pushing issues through Congress. This takes a position of Unity as opposed to polarization.
I recall the Clinton years quite well, and they did do some good, but they also did more damage to the Democratic Party than any other person I can think of in my lifetime.
Most people I know wouldn''t let a person who Lied Under Oath, or was proven to be a Sexual Pervert, in their own home, but they would put a person such as this in the White House? After Bill Clinton''s shenanigans the Democratic Party was accused of having no Morales, and rightly so, thus Values were thrust into the spotlight. Just to illustrate what kind of power values have consider the following.
When Bill Clinton took office we had a working majority in the House, the Senate, and a Democratic President. As a result of the Clinton administration''s actions, we lost control of the House, the Senate, and ultimately the Presidency.
Regardless of who the President is if you don''t have Congress working with you, there are not going to be any solutions brought about to any of our problems. OBAMA ''08! - Reply to this comment
- Obama is too weak to face terorism. He is the type of leader the terrorist like Osama is looking for. Obama lied to the supporter to say that he is not a Muslim. His father is a Muslim and his stepfather is a devoted Muslim in Indonesia. He did not go to Catholic church. He is a Muslim and he can''t deny this. Ask all the Muslims if he is a Muslim. they will tell you that he is.
Obama lied to say that he successfully passed the fixing of nuclear power plant leak. Not only this bill DID NOT PASS, it turned out to favor the energy company, after being tweak so weak. Obama was easily persuaded by the big MONEY to change the intent of the bill. He is too green and too weak.
We need a strong and tough candidate who can lead this nation to prosperity. Get us out of the encomony, health care, social security and terorism problems that are facing us NOW. Hillary is the one. She is the best qualify candidate who is tough and strong to lead this nation. Bring us back to the prosperity era of the Clinton. Her experience and support in the Washington will bring the change that we need. - Reply to this comment

- Noone is ''entitled'' to a job, so illegals cannot be ''taking'' jobs from you. A job must be earned. Don''t like working for ''the man''? Go to work for yourself.

- The editorial board of La Opinion, with a readership of 500,000 the largest Spanish-language daily in the country, endorsed Obama today, praising his "inclusive message of hope" and his "conciliatory style that can reverse the vicious cycle of rancor which has paralyzed (the country''s) ability to come together on major decisions."
Clean slate!!!

- This letter to the editor of the Chicago Tribune, published February 1, 2008, struck me with it''''s brief but necessary approach to what is holding this Country from regaining it''''s supremacy in the world. Nothing will go well unless our politicians can drop this political partisan divisiveness and work for the common good and the uniting of all the people of this great Country. Only during World War II was this country united.
Together we can defeat any problem. To continue to be divided, is to lose control of our future.

Drastic Measure
For the second time in 35
years I''''ll take a Democratic
ballot. The first time was
when Barack Obama ran
for the U.,S. Senate. This
time it will be to support
his candidacy for president
The most critical problem
facing the U.S. isn''''t the
economy, global warming,
or Iraq. It''''s the divisive,
partisan politics that
dominates Washington.
Until we have leaders who
don''''t view every issue as a
"wedge" to divide the
electorate or as an
opportunity to make the
other side of the aisle look
bad, our government will
remain gridlocked --unable
to solve the problems that
affect its citizens.Obama is
the one candidate who
might be able to change
the tenor of the debate
in Washington.

- THE IMPERFECT "PERFECT" OBAMA
how can Obama be the honest person if he himself is caught in lies?
how can Obama claim he can do perfect judgement on DAY 1 if he himself makes mistakes on getting involve with a slumlord?
how can Obama claim he can be the uniter if he himself indulge in fights?
how can Obama claim he is the new blood if he himself is part of the old blood?
how can Obama be the bridge to the future if he himself does not have the mastery of past?
a good salesman (OBAMA) can make you drive a lemon car. a good mechanic (CLINTON) can fix the lemon car.

- Conservatives Will Stop Obama.
We%u2019re Obama supporters, too! But we are sure they%u2019ll find some way to stop him as Barack is against the war, a war the conservatives insist will go on. The way they stop him may be very very nasty. Read the details of what we think might happen on our website, down towards the last few paragraphs. If somebody can get our analysis to him, his strategists may be able to find a way around the conservatives%u2019 death wish for him.
Good luck to us all,
Dr. and Mrs. Peter V. Calabria
