Round 1 - Obama
Round 2 - Clinton

I do belive the scorecard will have Obama slightly ahead on points in Delegates. This battle is not over. Obama is electable in the primaries and in the national election. No one is inevitable, everyone is vulnerable. The time to step up and fight is now. Off to SC and Michagan and Nevada.

I would rather spend my time and money on hope and change than ride with the establishment.

a week is a lifetime in politics ... it''s been that way for all of time ... and will be that way moving forward. one slip could sink any one of the candidates.

that''s all you have to know ... all other assessments mean nothing. the pundits need something to ruminate about ... so they''ll pontificate as long as you are willing to eat it up.

Baaaaaaaahhhhh! Look at the sheep holding up their "Change" signs...Look at that smile!...Feel that charisma!....Look at the same old power brokers and CFR advisors in the background who support the same old policies that they promote under the Bush?Clinton dynasty...Watch the Bourgeosie ''Lefties'' go ape over the Oligarchy''s new ''Lamb Chop'' puppet...as Lev Trotsky once wrote, "Its like breathing the air of pure stupidity at a pressure of twenty atmospheres."

NH Democrats rightly understands that Obama can''t win in 2008. It comes down to common sense vs emotions and we can expect to see that play-out in other states. It is not a poor refection on Obama, he just can''t win and logical minds agree.

How soon we forget:

Hillary was the "inevitable" candidate not more than a month ago. That is gone. She was leading in NH by 10 - 20 points. That is gone. It looked like Obama was dead in the water. That is gone.

Yes, it was a shocker that Obama didn''t do as well as the polls suggested. But let''s not lose sight of reality: Obama is a viable candidate, and Hillary is no longer the undisputed front-runner.

So the question is: do we want the answers from 1994 or do we want the answers for 2008?

BARACK OBAMA 2008!

I think there are several dynamics at play here, and that''''''''s why the polls could not predict the outcome last night in NH:
1. After Obama won in Iowa, people in NH, while enthusiastic about the Obama win, took a closer look at Obama and quickly became concerned that he is more style than substance.
2. Everyday we are hearing bad news about the economy, and people are focused less on the Iraq war, so Hillary''''''''s "yes" vote for the war is not as important to the voters right now.
3. The economy woes are making people nostalgic for the better economic times under "The Clintons".
4. The Northeast has always been Clinton territory from the beginning.
5. The last few days it looked like the media and other candidates were devoted to ganging up on and tearing down Hillary, so a backlash developed. Women came to her rescue.
The question now is how does she fair outside of the Pro-Hillary parts of the country (Northeast and West Coast). Can she win NV, SC, and MI? Are voters all over the nation focusing and reaching the same conclusion about Obama? If so, then he should run out of gas quickly. Or was last night just a lucky night for Hillary and a hiccup for Obama?
I can''''''''t wait to watch it play itself out in the next few weeks!!

If Hillary wins, I will have my cat put to sleep, out of mercy. I would not want him to have to listen to Hillary''s screechy voice the next 4 years.

I can''t wait to vote his butt out of the senate because he has NOT lived up to his rhetoric (promises).

What!? A politician that didn''t live up to his promises? Say it aint so!

Ok, seriously - what did Obama promise (be specific now) that he didn''t deliver on? And how did it effect you? Did he try? And while you''re at it, can you give an example of a candidate who did?

Clinton will still never have the progressive vote. I''d no more vote for this war criminal clinton, then I would my cat.

Looks like his rhetoric train is about to come to and end! Not everyone who voted for him in IL is proud of that fact. I can''t wait to vote his butt out of the senate because he has NOT lived up to his rhetoric (promises). Just a word of warning to all of you that are brainwashed to support him.

A 2 point loss with delegates split evenly is hardly a "shocking" event.
