Washington Post: Former President Says Wife Will "Deal With The Unexpected" Better Than Her Rivals
- Lets count them up---4 years of Bush, 8 years of Clinton, 8 years of Bush = 20 years, now ask yourself--Are you any better off then you were 20 years ago?? The answer is, of course, NO.

After the first 4 years of Bush I was worse off. After 8 years of Clinton I was a LOT better off! After 8 years of this as*shole in the White House now the whole world is a lot worse off! Give me the Clintons back anytime. - Reply to this comment
- "You have to have a leader who is strong and commanding and convincing enough . . . to deal with the unexpected," he said. Which means to them : " We pretend to care about you, we lie to get votes, we will do or say anything to be popular, and we will promise you the moon so long as you let us redeem our egos" Wow, it is sickening already, slick willy is beyond belief. Without him she would be baking cookies in Ark. still. We don''t need another emabrressment, we need for them to disappear.

So why in the helll would you want 4 to 8 more years of the Clinton''s? That would equal almost (30) years. 1/3 of a century pred. near.
She even says--It''s time for a change!! - Reply to this comment

- I agree tuckered. I have cancer and was extremely ill for over 9 months during the treatments I underwent. I dropped my insurance and parked my car, which I ultimately ended up selling, to get rid of the payments since I was too sick to drive, and would have been a very uncomfortable ride for me now anyways, because trying to stay alive with medical treatment is a phenominal expense with cancer, even with insurance. Now I am well enough to get back on the road, they did the same thing to me. Going without having a car & insurance for 9-10/mo''s, I now pay almost $1000/6mo for PL/PD (the cheapest minimum of insurance on debt free car),$210/yr for plates on a car I paid $2500 cash for, because of a lapse in insurance, put me in what they call ''high risk'' catagory, tho I have never had a accident, never filed a claim, nor had one filed against me, and havent had a ticket in over 30 years. By doing the rsponsible thing, of taking myself off the road, getting out from under an expensive vehicle & payments, then replacing it with something cheaper with no payment, (since here in MI, your rates and plates are based on what the value of your car was the day it was new) I am now placed in the "HIGH RISK POOL" The agent said I could request a new rate AFTER I have been back insured for a yr, and it MIGHT drop a couple hundred, then back to a normal rate, after 2 yrs. I feel completely VIOLATED by this,

- Part of the problem with Hillary''s campaign style is that she used the tactics she''s only before used on RepubliCONS during the primaries against other Democrats, which has been very alienating. Now I don''t relate any more to the Billary Clinton Democrats any more than I do to the George Bush Republicans.
I would guess she''s going to win the Democratic nomination, but I don''t see how she''s possibly going to win a general election, even if the Iraq War takes a nasty turn . . . - Reply to this comment
- Gee, maybe he can make another book. Bill sells Hill, take it on tour and peddle it overseas to his anti-American friends. Then he can save his millions down in the Cayman Islands along with the rest of their funds so when they turn our government into a socialist state, they will still have their own money to buy lots of goodies.

- apolloknowsa/t_barr,
It''s really difficult for me to take this list seriously when Ted Stevens doesn''t even make the top 10. It seems like the list makers had a political agenda.
I don''t doubt the corruption of any of those who made the list but that doesn''t make anyone not on the list exempt from scrutiny or the ordering of the rankings meaningful. - Reply to this comment

- Bill-your wife didn''t have security clearance and yet you claim that you told her things of national importance? Are you crazy? That is illegal. Never mind, this is a governor from Arkansas, nothing is illegal for them...just ask them.

Notice who is not on this list--Mitt Romney. Huckabust is, though... - Reply to this comment
- And OFCOURSE they are working towards a society of debtors prisons, because they have taxed and worsened the lives of the now poor, that used to be middle class Americans. The Big Corps, and the deep bleeding and oozing with infection wound they use called INSURANCE is now all based on a persons credit report. The so called patriot act, prevents 1/3 of our nation from being able to even get a savings account, well enough a checking account to be able to cash there checks & save $ and more easily pay there bills. Now the have given the insurance co''s the right to run credit checks,(eery check drops your ''score'') and poor ppl with poor credit, pay more for there insurance. The middle class has been eliminated this way,and created MORE people in poverty, so invent predatory lenders, who charge the poor even MORE, then yank what small amount of credit footing they thought they were building, out from under them, in my opinion, stealing there homes and cars this way. The check 24 system? You write a check it clears in 24 hrs. BUT your bank, is still allowed to hold your paycheck fo 5 biz days. But if your an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT, its all free!!!!!!!

- She has the experience? I dont see how. The only reason she was elected to be Senator, was because of who she is married to. She has never ran ANYTHING. Not a charity, a business, a village, a town, a county, or even a state. HOW does this make her qualified to run a country, and be a world leader? MANY countries we deal with still dont even respect a woman, they laugh at and ignore Condi Rice. Her husband had multiple affairs, so she cant even manage her mariage. Look at all the people that have basically fell off the planet since the LAST Clinton admin? All the things she took that didnt belong to her from the white house, and white water, I just want ppl to look at the last 20 years... its either been a Bush or a Clinton in the White House..THIS COUNTRY HAS SLID IN THE GUTTER, AND IS BEING MOCKED BY THE REST OF THE WORLD. We need some one who values and respects the Constitution, and will rebuild our country to the great place it used to be.

- If nothing else, a candidate who is promoting the idea that Americans should be forced, by law, to buy health insurance is unfit to be president.
That is the stupidest idea that I''''ve seen lately.

Perhaps we should all invest in the stocks of those corporations which have begun to manage some of our prison system.
After all, the only logical punishment for someone who is too poor to buy something that they are told they must buy is debtor''s prison. - Reply to this comment
- There are only 4 serious candidates in this race:
1. Biden and Dodd - each have the toughness and exerience to do the job. H does not. (this is asorry media joke) Obama is impressive and eloquent, but to most of us way to LEFT. 2. Rudy and Mitt.Obvious.
Why are are fawning over Hillary? This is a media propped up story line. There is nothing there.
We are in a time of war. We have real enemies. They want to destroy us. We need real leadership and experience. Not a feel good story line from the Press or a leader who makes decisions from emotions - the last one CARTER, was a disaster. - Reply to this comment

The moral of the story?
This time, we really need to elect a responsible President rather than an ineffectual neocon puppet. - Reply to this comment
- What we really need is another Amendment to the Constitution...
One that says that at the conclusion of any President''s term there will be a nationwide election where by means of an up-or-down vote America will determine whether the President who has just left office and his or her Cabinet-level Secretaries will be hung. Or not.
It would do a fine job of letting you vote for a candidate even when you have nagging doubts about their loyalties and honesty.
I even propose a name for the election:
The National Day of Reckoning. - Reply to this comment

- Based on her claims of experience, White House staffers (janitors, maintenance, security, etc.) are qualified to be president. As are Chelsea Clinton, Jenna and Barbara Bush (Bozo''''s brats).
Hillary''''s primary experience is riding the coattails of successful men while doing absolutely nothing of note or worthwhile.
Hillary is unfit to be president.

Being an Independent, I''m certainly no Hillary fan.
But based on your above statement, Bush was (and still is) unqualified to be president. Because his daddy was a president, doesn''t automatically make him qualified to be a president.
His record as both a politician and a businessman, show everyone that he was a dismal failure, and shouldn''t even be allowed inside Washington DC''s city limits, musch less give the keys to the White House. - Reply to this comment
