Washington Post: Former "Co-President" Runs On Bill Clinton's Record And Her White House Experience
- ''Former "Co-President" Runs On Bill Clinton''s Record And Her White House Experience''
This woman has none of the seasoned experience US voters have traditionally depended upon. Never a military general in a war, nor governed a state, nor mayor of a significant city, nor a majority leader, nor a minority leader, nor negotiated with foreign heads of state on foreign policy issues. Not even a +decade seasoned senator with the authorship of serious legislation under her belt.
Let''s flip the rolls for a second. Let''s pretend Hillary won the presidency back in 1992 instead of Bill, and Bill was along for the ride. Now in 2008 Bill wants to be president based on "HILLARY Clinton''s Record And HIS White House Experience". How many sane Americans would take that a viable experience for a MALE (or female) presidential candidate? Couple that with her insatiable sense of entitlement and what an amazing joke. - Reply to this comment
- AS a feminist leader, I am not demanding that all women vote for Hillary because she is a woman. I am asking that you consider all that she has done for you and the children of America.

Please tell me since I am not aware of a single law that she was responsible for passing and it was during her husband''s term in office that welfare reform law was passed that limited the time that children could receive public assistance. I was for this bill and it seems to actually have helped people but the Hillary I knew of opposed the bill as did many liberals, - Reply to this comment

- Vote for someone who TRULY cares about children! Don''t trust anyone who plays dirty tricks. Dirty tricks come from dirty people who flock together like the Clintons. "He who steals a little steals with the same wish as he who steals much, but with less power." What smart or good people need dirty tricks? You see, this is the confused Hillary: "I don''t think living in a foreign country between the ages of 6 and 10 is foreign policy experience." So, does Hillary believe children between the ages 6 and 10 could have any (life) experience that would affect their future? Unless her logical mind tells her to leave those children-in-need where they are because "children''s experience" doesn''t matter. You see, although "it takes a village", Bill has his own "But-don''t-count-me-role-model" dirty village of many women and Hillary has her own "Get-out-of-my-way-except-Bill-the-sxx-offender-stay-because-I-need-to-win" no-principle village of one woman. Who''s in the "Let''s-be-role-models-and-truly-concern" village of the "Children"? Not Bill, nor Hillary? Maybe Hillary thinks children don''t need much experience or example for their future. I bet she meant they don''t even need schooling. So sad. "Hey, it''s hard to conceal what I meant with what I say because what I think in my head means no logic to my heart (that is if I have a real one), ha ha."

Strange, Sir, that I haven''t seen any praise from the Neocon regime for HIllary. In fact quite the opposite...and they''ll fight her tooth and nail for the election if she gets nominated.
It is the policy of lots of special interest groups to throw their lot in with the candidate that they think has the most chance of winning. They want to keep their eye on whatever contracts they MIGHT be able to get.
However, NONE of that means that HIllary has any intention of continuing the war mongering policies of the Neocon regime. I think that is just another little mindplay that her foes like to project. Just like the polarizing nonsense.
As I said before, she, like every candidate on the stage knows that the war mongering has to stop.
They will always be defense contractors in this country. This hoo ha doesn''t mean a *** thing. - Reply to this comment
- A Special Prayer for Bill Clinton and Hillary to Recite:
"Knowledge becomes evil if the aim be not virtuous."
"What it lies in our power to do, it lies in our power not to do."
"The blame is his who chooses."
"For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories."
"We are what we repeatedly do."
(Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers, Elizabeth Ward Gracen, Sally Predue, Dolly Kyle Browning...)
"The measure of a man is what he does with power."
"The aim of the wise is not to secure pleasure, but to avoid pain."
"The person attempting to travel two roads at once will get nowhere."
"The petty man is eager to make boasts, yet desires that others should believe in him. He enthusiastically engages in deception, yet wants others to have affection for him. He conducts himself like an animal, yet wants others to think well of him."
"The foundation of every state is the education of its youth."
"To see and listen to the wicked is already the beginning of wickedness."
"Setting an example is not the main means of influencing another, it is the only means."
Repeating wrong doings for self-gratification proves extreme stupidity, selfishness, and cowardice. - Reply to this comment
- A lot of Progressive talk show people aren''t that happy with Hillary Clinton either. They would much rather see Bill Richardson or Dennis Kucinich on the ticket, but they know both the media and big business won''t go for someone who actually knows what they are talking about or echo what the PEOPLE of this country want. Today, its what business wants, not what the people want that counts!
So rather than tell people to vote for who they want, their advice is vote for whoever the Democrat is that gets on the ticket, like them or not, and get the Fascist Republicans out of office, starting at the Oval Office. To me, that is just as dangerous as electing another Bush.
For all the good that Bill Clinton did, he fostering the free trade agreements that sent millions of jobs overseas, and continued the policies of "Big Daddy" George Bush I. That, together with the spineless whimpering of the Democrats today, has turned a lot of people off on voting for everyone, which probably means another Fascist Republican in the White House for 4 more years!

It''s time to get off this rag...she like every other democratic candidate promised to get the troops out of Iraq as soon as possible.
Everybody here knows that the pull out of Iraq has to be done orderly and with great aforethought. Even tho we went there on false premises and ripped their country asunder, withdrawl can only be done with some sitting down at the table and negotiating with Iraq, something that Mr. Bush and Ms. Rice have totally failed to do since their only interest is the oil. They have had no interest in what happens to the Iraqi people once their debacle is over.
Now, we have to negotiate the Turks off Iraq as well since Bush sic''d them on Kurdistan to get the oil.
And no telling what shennanigans he''ll pull once he gets his hands on another $40 billion dollars to pay people to do his bidding.
Hillary knows people are counting on her to stop beating on the tom toms of war and destruction and has as much or more chance of getting it done than any other candidate. - Reply to this comment

Because she wasn''t sitting and brewing tea as most men would think, she was in there supporting her husbands efforts. Unless you''re lost and buried in the 40''s you should realize that women as well as make tea and devise menus, they also work and help support their families, including their husbands, and are a part of the decision making process for spending their hard-earned cash as well. - Reply to this comment

- What kind of people post to this? So many haters...
After the damage to our nation''s world image over the past 7 years (not to mention to our civil liberties and more), I believe it''s time for a leader who will take the lessons of the past and build on them into the future. The candidate best-equipped for that is Hillary Clinton.
She cares about families, she fights to help those who need it, and she reaches across the aisle to get things done. I don''t want platitudes from candidates - I want workable, thoughtful and real answers to problems. Hillary''s given me all of that - not Edwards, not Obama, and certainly none of the Republicans running.
Keep moving forward, Hillary!! - Reply to this comment
- Hillary Clinton is a War Pig...if you want Bush''s policies to continue and you want someone who wears a dress...pick someone who can do it justice...like Rudy ''the cross-dressing Mafiosi'' Giuliani. She has the support of the same interests that her hubby--who admits to ''mistakes''..but won''t discuss the statutory rape of a young woman in an Arkansas public office in exchange for drugs with his good friend who headed up the Arkansas Finance and Re-Development bond office... who, not so coincidentally went to prison for drugs...rather like the former President''s brother who said Bill had "a nose like a vacuum cleaner."..."Cattle Futures" Clinton will undoubtedly carry on Bill''s criminal "Legacy" including his enthusiasm for young women.

- hamiltongrad--And how about the other side of the Demo-pubican coin?--Are they ever going to talk about the Truman hearings, Bush''s nasty old gran''daddy financing the Nazis, Rockefellar oil for Nazi submarines and the head of New Jersey Standard leaving in disgrace while Bush escapes prosecution under the Trading With the Enemy Act by the skin of his teeth?...or, let''s go back to the Democratic side of that filthy coin...
The backing of the Bolshies by New York bankers to the tune of millions...the Wilson Regime ordering the Canadians to release the steamer with Trotsky, mega-bucks and a load of East End Jewish Communists going to help knock our ally out of World War I? Or, are we going to talk about Armand Hammer, a communist agent of influence who was at home in the Nixon White House and the Kremlin who was the financial god-father of both Senator Gore and his father? Or, that Gore''s offspring has married into the family of bankers who financed the Bolshies...or that Hammer''s father was a founder of the US communist party?
Or, the coin lands on its edge and as the Hoover Institution showed, it was US capital and technology transfers that kept the good old USSR going strong for so long....
The media in this country is a media that belongs to the banks and the oligarchs...and they will gladly discuss Brittany Spears...12 months of political BS from the mainstream candidates and the weather... - Reply to this comment
