Bravo PoopNIdiot or whatever your name is. Well put. You make the Republican point with such eloquence and insight. When this Christian-extremist, anything-for-profit, treasonous government is swept from power, and the US begins to rebuild its conscience and integrity, you and the likes of you will be swept away with them to quietly sip your warm Coors in your stinky trailer in humble solitude. And as we move forward out of this dark chapter in our history, you and your like will be looked upon like those who opposed civil rights in the 60s: ignorant pinheads whose time came and went. Good riddance.

This is why there should be laws prohibiting this kind of thing (pork).
Also, a good reason to have term limits limited to two terms max. The longer they are in office the more arrogance and power they have.
Get these creepy bottom feeders out of office.
Vote for term limits.

Which brings us back to term limits and publicly financed elections.

...........

I agree, but sadly, the only way we would get term limits for our federal representatives is for them to vote on it themselves... and that will NEVER happen.

Why? Because currently, the vast majority of politicians in Washington DC are career politicians... made possible by their scheming and lies in hopes that the majority of voters are not educated enough to see or know the difference.

And that is the biggest problem, the majority of the American electorate is NOT educated enough in government/politics to see through the lies and the facade that the career politicians put forth on a daily basis.

Most of us on these boards are educated in politics and government, but the rest are more interested in the candidates/finalists of "Dancing With The Stars" or "American Idol" rather than the candidates WHO WILL ACTUALLY RUN OUR COUNTRY!!!

It''s disgusting and sad.

RON PAUL WINS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
According to Google Trends, if the election happened today, Ron Paul would be the next U.S. President. In competition with Hillary Clinton, Ron Paul wins. Ron Paul is the most searched for presidential candidate in the 2008 election. What the sold-out mainstream media mouthpieces don''''t realize, and what the neocons don''''t realize, is that Google is all-powerful, even beyond them. Google Trends accurately predicted the last U.S. President--George W. Bush. Will Ron Paul''''s popularity continue to rise and spread? We hope so.

$20 million is not that much and allows the folks in "Nowhere" a way to get back and forth. It might even provide a way for Nowhere" to grow some and, who knows, become "Somewhere" in the future.

Why are liberals and democrats crying about helping that small "Nowhere" place justa little?

HUCKABEE CLUELESS ABOUT IRAN NIE
The Politico''s David Paul Kuhn asked Mike Huckabee, "To what extent you have been briefed or been able to take a look at the NIE report that came out yesterday?," Huckabee said, "I''m sorry?" Kuhn reiterated, "The NIE report--the National Intelligence Estimate on Iran. Have you been briefed or been able to take a look at it?" Huckabee said, "No." Kuhn continued, "Have you heard of the finding that they suspended their nuclear weapons program years ago?" Huckabee said, "No. I don''t know where the intelligence is coming from that says that they suspended the program and how credible that is versus the news that they actually are expanding it," Huckabee said. "And then I''ve heard the last two weeks supposed reports that say that they are accelerating and could be having a reactor in a much shorter period of time than originally they thought." Huckabee''s ignorance of the news of the day, which not only dominated the recent Democrats'' debate, but also prompted a presidential press conference in response to the findings, came as Huckabee faced questioning about his foreign policy credentials on Don Imus''s radio show, where Huckabee joked that he''s "not an expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night," a play on a silly motel ad. The National Review''s Byron York suggests Huckabee''s inability to develop carefully-thought-out policy positions are to blame.
