washingtonpost.com: GOP Hopeful's Speech Raises At Least As Many Questions As It Answers
- Guess again! It is typical of an unintelligent democrat liberal to make such a stupid comment like it is the minority republican lawmakers that are driving our economy into the ground instead of placing the blame on the MAJORITY DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS that actually dictate these horrible economic policies that are killing our economy!

- I LOVE Mitts new ads on tv. Republicans: Fiscally responsible. ($9 trillion debt). Will protect us best. (9/11 happened on their watch). Smaller goverment. (Biggest gov''t in world history). Tax and spend democrats. (Well, at least they figure out how to pay for things.) It is amazing the GOP still is able to pull this off...just by saying it. And no one ever calls them on it. Where are the swift boaters when you need ''em!!! The democrats just need to make something up since telling the facts gets them no where.

- He is right on with this message. It is the exact message that the local republicans in my area want to here. The Republicans and Democrats in Washington have left the people behind. I hope Mitt wins because he is a good man with a good message.

- The Republicans have given us something better yesterday the US dollar broke new lows the Canadian dollar over took us. For you simpletons that don''t understand what the Republican''s did to us over the last 12 years here it is in a simple nutshell. They weakened us and our money and how much we can but. This is your great lie that we have lived we in the finance world have been saying this not just to Republicans but to the Democrats and now they are listening at the the Democrats are but the Republicans are still going stay the course.
Like Starieo146 said no one is listening to you so dog paddle back to shore if you can otherwise drown. - Reply to this comment
- Behind Romney and the other mainstream candidates is the desire to continue the current policy--they will lie, just like Bush....they will promise anything, then when they get in, you can rest assured, there will be MITT-igating circumstances that require us to expand our occupation of Iraq.
The Regime''s catamites of the House just voted almost unanimously to increase tensions with Iran by voting for more sanctions--completely unjustified--and all for the sake of Israel.
As President Ahamadinejad pointed out on the David Rose Show, Iran is living up to its solemn treaty obligations under the IAEA...When it depended on Western firms for support in its legitimate quest for
nuclear power under the IAEA, the firms canceled their contracts unilaterally--pressed by the Washington Regime...How can Tehran depend on them to supply nuclear fuel?
This is the same US House that marched off the cliff behind the Zio-Nazi dogs with regard to Iraq and now they are goose-steeping right off another one. If you vote for mainstream candidates--this is what you are supporting...one more toe-tap towards war. - Reply to this comment

- Mitt is the most viable moderate conservative in the Presidential race and the best qualified to bring new leadership with his vision for America''s future.
Gov. Romney has an impressive resume to showcase. When elected governor in 2002 he assumed a monstrous 3 billion dollar deficit and put the state of Massachusetts back in the black without raising taxes. In 2006 Mitt signed into law a bill that provided HEALTH INSURANCE to all the citizens of Massachusetts without raising taxes......wow!
His success in public office mirrors his record in the private sector at Bain Capitol where he reorganized and made household names of companies such as Domino''s Pizza and Staples.
He also bailed out the U.S. Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002, and turned a profit there for 100 million dollars. I have nicknamed Mitt, "the Rominator", for obvious reasons.
Romney has also taken a tough stance on terrorism. Mitt wants to expedite the turn over of security in Iraq and in a June interview with the Associated Press Mitt indicated that he was against permanent US bases in Iraq.
Mitt''s the only top tier presidential candidate who strongly opposed the flawed Senate immigration bill( aka "No alien left behind") architected by Senators McCain and Kennedy. - Reply to this comment
- So basically, both Republicans and Democrats acknowledge the Bush Presidency as harmful and toxic to the country and partisan politics and rubberstamping is destroying from within. Then , to appeal to the loyal Bush base, the same Republicans promise us all more of the same--meaning they will continue what Bush started...only they know how to do his fvck up better. Which means----what? They can royally fvck over America and the world even more than Bush? they will continue where Bush left off? They will improve on Bush''s fvck ups? Which all means that no matter what--the divisions and ugliness, and party before country and Iraq war, etc will be without end and gas will keep going up because BP and Exxon and Hunter and Shell like it like that....
yep. As for the rest of America that will decide who is President and are tired of the lies, the war and the pettiness of votes on news Ads and hip hop---they think they can win with a "more of the same" strategy.
good luck with that. - Reply to this comment
