All these nutty right-wingers are still in denial that Senator Obama WON. Someone should tell them that "de-nial" is a river in Egypt.

Are they thanking her while she pardons 1 turkey, others are being
slaughtered in the background? I want to thank her for giving Democrats the Presidency.

I join the Democratic Party in thanking Palin for her services. I hope she continues to portray the GOP image. As long as she does, the Democrats will continue to prevail. She is the ULTIMATE gift that keeps on giving - TO THE DEMOCRATS. You Betcha.

"I see so many similarities between President Reagan and Governor Palin"

yeah, Reagan didn''t know what was going on around him either. I agree, I see a lot of the same in Palin, just as shallow, just as unqualified, just as mentally unable to handle the job.

People keep calling Palin, "Cheney in skirts", maybe they should be saying, "idiot in drag".

If the GOP wants to thank anyone it should be the American voters for not demanding that McCain, Palin and the rest of the NEOCON(vict) posse be permanently exiled for the gross incompetence of their campaign!

If the GOP wants to regain the respect and votes of the American voters there is only one thing they have to do...RETURN TO REALITY!

Parsed? She would have no clue what this word means and I''m not sure the writer does either.

"... she speaks to them in a straightforward and sincere way without the parsed statements and duplicity of typical Washington insiders and bureaucrats.%u201D

The word "parsed" makes no sense in this statement. "Unparseable" fits, however.

"...fighting for common sense conservative principles in a positive and uplifting manner,%u201D

Let''s see here. A positive and uplifting manner.

Hmmmmmm.

I guess if you call wild accusations and inflammatory bumper sticker soundbites positive and uplifting.

I know the English language is quite versatile and flexible and is capable of very fine shadings of meaning. But to try to frame Wailin Palin in any manner that would be considered positive and uplifting, you would have to turn the dictionary inside out. But of course, let us remember that the spinmeisters that work for the GOP have been doing it for years. Remember missles being named "Peacekeepers"? How about more recent examples: kidnapping being called extrordinary rendition, torture = agressive interrogation.

I liked the "articulate advocacy" part:

"My concern has been the atrocities there in Darfur and the relevance to me with that issue as we spoke about Africa and some of the countries there that were kind of the people succumbing to the dictators and the corruption of some collapsed governments on the continent, the relevance was Alaska%u2019s investment in Darfur with some of our permanent fund dollars.%u201D And, she concluded, %u201Cnever, ever did I talk about, well, gee, is it a country or a continent, I just don%u2019t know about this issue."

This is a joke, right? The only thing that Ailin'' Palin brought to the national scene is a unique stance of stupidity. The woman hasn''t a brain in her body. Anyone who thinks so must be suffering from the same idiocy. Remember, Reagan suffered from Alzheimer''s, at least he had an excuse. She was the best thing that ever happened for the Democrats.
