Yeah, those people are SO much worse than Jack Abramoff, Good Job Brownie, Scooter Libby, orgies in the Interior Department, child page molestation in the House, illegal political maneuvers in too many cases to list here (but notably most tied to Tom DeLay), the politicization and subsequent mockery of the "Justice Department", the billions wasted on an unnecessary war, and much, much more.
This of course does not even mention the crowd steering the GOP since RR used them to derail Gerald Ford''s campaign: the Religious Right are as eager to impose Vatican doctrine on US law as any ayatollah is to impose Sharia.
All of these folks have been invited to spend time at the White House or hold high positions in Republican circles.
So please: tell us again why we should not vote for a man who was still a child when the bombs in question were detonated? - Reply to this comment

It _is_ hard to see when you don''t look.
"How do you build from the bottom up if the bottom is empty?"

You fill the glass. It is yet another way of "floating all boats". More than a few knowledgeable people think it is a better way to prosperity. Certainly it cannot be worse than the economic policies of the last eight-twelve years. Oh, and BTW? The financial bailout resembles *nothing* so much as the nationalization of private industry during other countries'' regime change from democracy to communism, and your party-- the Republicans-- did it.
"When Obama, allegedly, takes all this money from corporations, they will only leave or put the cost back to you."
They can only "put the cost back to you" (whatever that means) if you buy their *** at whatever price they feel like charging.
Take gasoline, for instance: for months if not years, we have been hearing that prices were high because supplies were tight. Part of that song and dance played on people''s fears that we were running out of oil. Now that demand has dropped globally, suddenly supplies are sufficiently plentiful to drop prices by $2/gallon in some places.
We were being gouged then, and you are lying now. Unfortunately for you, that''s the only way for Republicans to win anymore, and voters have heard all the lies and fear-mongering they can take.

Wow, now Obama is HITLER? Unlike George Bush as Stalin? Your message reminds me of the churchtower scene in "Saving Private Ryan", where the nazi troop mutters reassuring words as he plunges the knife into the American troop''s heart.
Seriously, you should try find a more suitable FUD avatar. As Bush''s war on terror has more than adequately shown, fear tends to be worse than the actual threat. Personally, I think Americans are tired of being bullied by Republican-posed boogeymen. - Reply to this comment

You are like all the other wind blowing democrats. What does a breath of fresh air mean? None of you can speak about acutual facts. You just blame every problem on George Bush and talk about "Change" and fresh air. What a bunch of ***. Get a clue! - Reply to this comment

THERE NEVER WAS AN ELECTION DECISION THAT WAS ANY EASIER. JOHN MCCAIN .IS NOT GEORGE BUSH. HE IS JUST WHO HE SAYS HE IS. OBAMA? NOBODY KNOWS FOR SURE- Reply to this comment
- Dear Undecided Voter,
You have nothing more precious than your personal liberty. Life can be scary and it is easy to look to a person who says they can CHANGE EVERYTHING. Hitler did this to a country that was hurting, because he was a clever guy and a good speaker. Obama has not shown anybody anything but has a long trail of question marks. We are at a critical moment in history. We need stability more than radical change. Reform yes, change our system to please those who would benefit? No. Obams is really George Bush of the Left. He wants to grab power, but Obama wants to use your money. I never saw anything trickle up and we did well under Reagan economically (not other ways necesarily) so for those concerned with economic issues I say: How do you build from the bottom up if the bottom is empty? When Obama, allegedly, takes all this money from corporations, they will only leave or put the cost back to you. It''''s common sense but the elitist Liberals on the Left have tried negate your own common sense. That is why they have CRUCIFIED JOE THE PLUMBER AND SARAH PALIN. They will continue to wage war on white Christian and persecute them to replace your religion with their own intellectualism? and multi=culturalism. Soon it will be illegal to say your a Christian that believes in American values, or it will be dangerous. Look at the news, its happening already. - Reply to this comment

I don''t know what an "idot" is, but count me among them. Unfortunately, I doubt we''ll get all we deserve, since the US political system tends to push every candidate back towards the center somewhat, but thanks for your trollish concern. The country is now in such a mess (thanks to 8 years of your Bush/Cheney compassionate conservatism!) that NO incoming president will be able to come across on half the promises/hopes he expressed while campaigning, but still--OBAMA will be a breath of fresh air in AMERICA, still the greatest country on earth! Go Obama/Biden ''08! - Reply to this comment
- Democrats think they are entitled to handouts from the government. Entitlement, Entitlement, Entitlement, Entitlement!!! Guess who provides the main source of revenue for these lazy liberal gimmie your money low-life, hard working, risk taking Republican workers who have successful careers. Some how Democrats think the Republicans should share the wealth. That doesn%u2019t seem fair to me. Last time I checked the USA is a Capitalist country. True capitalism should not include Socialist entitlements. Republicans create jobs, Democrats prefer you to stay at home and collect entitlements you do not deserve or earned. That is what you can expect from Obama, Entitlement, Entitlement, Entitlement and Entitlement!!!

Exactly what kind of change are you talking about? Other than some *** about 95% of Americans getting a tax cut. That is not going to happen. Take a look at the numbers the spending far out weighs the the top 10% of Americans earning over 250K. - Reply to this comment

- Sounds like the war profiteering right wing fascists are preparing everyone for the stealing of the election for the elitist Republicons. (Again). This time we must act to shut down the fascist country.
On November 5th, we will either celebrate V for victory or V for vendetta. So be ready.
Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder treason and plot. I see no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot - V - Reply to this comment
- Obama may have the popular vote, however I foresee a great Republican victory as McCain and Palin will lock down 270+ Electoral Votes.

- Obama will also turn democracy and capitalism on it%u2019s head, and villainize the affluent and successful in our society, in order to rally the masses behind him.
With evangelical zeal Obama will convince his followers to replace reason with hope and belief %u2026 to blindly follow him %u2026 never challenge him %u2026 and embrace his words as gospel.
In the real, and unforgiving world of economics however, when you immediately gratify everyone by feasting on the goose that lays the golden eggs, the economy looses it%u2019s ability to continue generating growth and wealth.
Obama is promising everyone a piece of the pie, whether they helped bake it, or not %u2026 but, only in a socialistic, or communist state do the non-contributors demand to share equally in the property that belongs to others.
Immediate gratification, and getting something for nothing, is like a drug to the malcontents, but in the big picture, every farmer knows that even if you get hungry, you never eat your seed crop %u2026 unless you want it to be your last meal.
If Obama gets elected, America will turn into a third world country, with massive government welfare programs, unable to generate jobs for it%u2019s citizens, and unable to compete in the global markets. Keep America safe, free and strong %u2026 elect McCain/Palin on November 4th. - Reply to this comment
- I will have more pleasure watching Lieberman kiss but after the election, then any gloating would give me. I have not been a fan of George Bush, and do want Obama for change, that is my choice, but I do still have respect for McCain, though he has taken terrible advice from the far right Bushies.
Oh yes, I will revele in the afterglow of this election, but nothing more then watching a Turn Coat , Man without a country, Joe Lieberman. He is one person who does not know what the hell he wants. - Reply to this comment
