I hope the Democrats will learn from the mistakes of the Republicans when they controlled the White House, Congress and the Supreme Court for years and accomplished little while *** up much. Avoid the extreme, govern from the middle or in a few years the shoe will be back on the other foot. We have placed all our hope for change in the Democrats. They better come through or Sarah Palin might be the next Obama. (Now there''s a scary thought 3 days after Halloween!)

Obama is clearly the best choice if we are going to be serious about changing the direction of this country.

John McCain represents a continuation down a road that has truly failed the American people.

Forget the mainstream media excuses, forget the hype. Al you need to know is that McCain voted wish George Bush and *** Cheney 92% of the time.

That''s all you really need to know.

...by YOU, you mean. What media are you referring to?

One of those wacky logic-bombs you''re getting into, i''m sure, is that; if Air America is liberal media, what''s the major networks? You''re just another of the neo-conned going in tiny circles.

After spending the last eight years blaming Bush for all the ills on the planet, I look forward to blaming someone new. More than likely Obama, but McCain would also be a good target. Ahhh, I can''''t wait until Jan. for the new punching bag to to step into the ring.

LOL! Are you SERIOUS? BLAMING HIM? He and Cheney are thugs!! Bin Laden must be SO PROUD! They and their "party" have nearly bankrupted this country and INVADED a country who had NOTHING TO DO WIHT 911. We now have 40,000 wounded and 5,000 dead because of "The Decider''s" ego. SICKENING AND SHAMEFUL. Who do YOU BLAME????

Don''t be influenced by any of these polls. Make sure you vote. Use independent thought, instead of being led around by the nose ring that''s controlled by the lovesick Obama media.

McCain is most content and happy when he is with his old-guard, old-style Republican base. McCain could not tear himself away from them to represent all Americans. McCain''s idea of being a maverick is sleeping in a hotel during the campaign instead of one of his 9 houses. McCain could not break new ground, could not stretch and become a real maverick. Nothing''s worse than a fake maverick.

How can anyone be "undecided" at this point? Talk about milk toast..these are the people that can''t make a decision to save their lives! Maybe they need to climb aboard the B.S. Express and ask the old man what to do.

Limited socialism good? It makes a recession less severe. Social security, for example, provides not just a basic needs safety net for the elderly. Social security provides a constant consumer for better structural soundness of the American economy, especially during recessions. Same with Medicare. Same with a government universal health care system, AMERICAN MADE (better than other countries), which will be a floor for businesses especially during a recession. Limited socialism, when well regulated, provides a cushion for our entire economy.

The more Republicans resort to smear and fear, the faster they fall in the polls.

Americans are tired of the same old divisive, sleazy politics of the GOP.

It''s time to move forward together as a nation and work together towards a brighter future.

Obama 08!

Obama will also turn democracy and capitalism on it%u2019s head, and villainize the affluent and successful in our society, in order to rally the masses behind him.

With evangelical zeal Obama will convince his followers to replace reason with hope and belief %u2026 to blindly follow him %u2026 never challenge him %u2026 and embrace his words as gospel.

In the real, and unforgiving world of economics however, when you immediately gratify everyone by feasting on the goose that lays the golden eggs, the economy looses it%u2019s ability to continue generating growth and wealth.

Obama is promising everyone a piece of the pie, whether they helped bake it, or not %u2026 but, only in a socialistic, or communist state do the non-contributors demand to share equally in the property that belongs to others.

Immediate gratification, and getting something for nothing, is like a drug to the malcontents, but in the big picture, every farmer knows that even if you get hungry, you never eat your seed crop %u2026 unless you want it to be your last meal.

If Obama gets elected, America will turn into a third world country, with massive government welfare programs, unable to generate jobs for it%u2019s citizens, and unable to compete in the global markets. Keep America safe, free and strong %u2026

Elect McCain/Palin on November 4th.

CBS get real! You go shopping for the poll that most supports Obama and then you roll it out as reality. It''s sad that what used to be a quality news organization could be no better than the politicans in Washington. If McCain wins, and he still could, your viewers, a lot of them, are going to take a long vacation. I''ve been around a while. I never thought that I would see the day that people would be so in the bag for somebody and use their clout as a major news source to try and steer an election. It is a sad day for our country.

Undecided. White, mostly male, over 45, from the Midwest or the South. Well, that excludes the Left Coast, New York, and Michigan. Sounds like a bunch of McCain folks left out there. Who knows? I don''t. But, apparently, if you do not vote for Obama you are either racist, stupid, or both.

By some chance, which I don''t see right now, should Obama lose, you have not seen anything yet re the race card bit. Well, perhaps Murtha knows best. Stupid guy. Could cause him to lose his seat as well as PA.

We are far too excited about these polls. Let them continue to grow for Obama. Folks get really complacent when numbers (actual or not) get this high. Why bother to vote?

As I was posting, "IN REACTION TO" communist Marxism. Ayn Rand and Greenspan are too far out; Obama will bring us back to the center.

If you examine the issues, it''s surprising how much support McCain actually has. The overwhelming majority are unhappy with the direction of the country. They are unhappy with Bush. Yet despite McCain wanting to continue the policies of Bush, large numbers of people still back him.

Here''s a likely reason. It''s called McChapter 7 - Morally Bankrupt. It''s 3 minutes, 11 seconds, and shows how the Right Wing Nuts have captured the minds of so many. For reasonable people, it should be rather scary.

McCain is wedded to old money and ideas set in concrete. Obama will back American innovation and creativity. McCain''s economic advisors are still tied to the old Greenspan theories==Greenspan idolized Ayn Rand, who wrote IN REACTION TO
