- Joe the Plumber? Oh brother. The plumbers around here make quite a good living. Who connects with that? He is not losing his house, he is not on food stamps, he HAS a joc...How is HE even close to the average American today?
And when he was interviewed, he sounded like a moron.
Obama, get ready for your White House stay. - Reply to this comment
- Wake up and listen carefully to these candidates. Don''''t let Democrat/Republican parties blind you. Obama is a lawyer, and behaves like a lawyer. That does not qualify him to be president.
What public profession does qualify one to be president? It is more then just a race between a Fighter Pilot, and a Constitutional Atorney. Lincoln was a Lawyer, but that was not what made his ideals admirred today. Same token , F. Roosevelt was born into wealth and ecconomic power, but again, that did not make his ideals appeal to the poor multitudes.. Black and white. Lables only work for those weak-minded enough to fall into it. - Reply to this comment
- Barak Hussein Obama won all the debates because he is clearly more intelligent, focused on the issues
and caring of the majority of the US population. Take note that his tax policies will not spare him from paying higher taxes. As for John ? McCain, he is the much the same as G.W.B. He favors the wealthy and has little care for the other 95% of the population. - Reply to this comment

OK OK OK already!! I''m awake!! Heaven''s!
Obama was never and is not now a lawyer.
He WAS however 1st in his class at Harvard Law.
Not 5th from the bottom (like some cranky ol'' coot I won''t name).
He taught Constitutional Law for 12 years at University level before 3 terms in the Illinois State Senate. Since being in the House he has
worked on and passed a bi-partisan bill (with Sen. Lugar - R) which keeps nukes out of the hands of terrorists. Plus he is easy on the ears and is already as presidential in his demeanor
as a man can get. I am fully awake now!!
Thanks for the wake up call. - Reply to this comment

- Obama was clear and consice and stuck to to the question. McCain sounded off on negative, false broken record, broken record, broken record.

- McFlipflopper was busy again tonight. McCain claimed he would "never impose a litmus test" on court nominees. In the same breath, he said he would base his nominations on "qualifications" and that he did not believe a judge who supported Roe v. Wade, the case that legalized abortion, "would be part of those qualifications." So there you go again.

- No,Thank You aliciaglenn! I''m just so tired of people claimimg to be republicans and christians while at the same time just focusing on their intolerance of gay rights and pro-choice. Thats not what republicans have ever really cared about. What you said is the truth, plain and simple!
