- All I saw was a cynical, angry man that acts as if the country ''owes'' him! I was disgusted with his consistently rude interruptions, and his extremely noticable/unprofessional mannerisms. McCain...you should be saddened by your ''lack there of'' for presidential character...I''ve made up my mind after last night and so did the rest of us that watched together. NONE of us we pleased with what we saw...it was just ANOTHER disappointing ''attack'', redundant/mislead information that we''ve heard over and over...(we ALL KNOW your past, we ALL KNOW you''re attempting to diminish Obama''s character, which isn''t working btw...too many false accusations McCain). An for "Joe" to be your focus and he''s NOT EVEN registered to vote...c''mon!! It was a play on Palin''s "Joe six-pack"...obviously "Joe is a drinking plummer."
We (Americans), were wanting and needing to SEE ''who'' speaks knowledgably, acts professionally, and carries themself as President - and McCain...it WASN''T YOU! You slowly sank, and sank, and sank in our eye''s last night...right to the bottom!
Go grab "Joe", head down to the local ''soccer field'' with a six-pack and sit down with him to discuss, "What SHOULD I have done different Joe...?" (you may need a 12 pack for that long discussion) - Reply to this comment
- I agree with the comments of MyMone above. I think McCain''s performance in the final debate showed him as he truly is: an angry and resentful old man--one who I cannot imagine governing my country. He struck me as erratic, divisive, and far too confrontational. Obama, on the other hand, remained cool, calm, and collected; and on topic--which couldn''t be said of McCain.

- I find it interesting that McCain keeps saying that nuclear power is safe. He says he served on a ship powered by nuclear power.
So.. how many times now has he had cancer in his head? - Reply to this comment
- Vice President Richard Cheney was hospitalized yesterday with Ventricle Fibrillation.
I believe Cheney is coming to the realization that he will no longer have Governmental Cover for his illegal, immoral, and detestable actions.
John McCain%u2019s only purpose was to obtain the Presidency to provide clemency to Bush and Cheney for their many crimes against the American Constitution.
Cheney will probably have to move to Dubai to avoid prison in the US. - Reply to this comment
- I wish the election were today and Obama were President. All I could think of during last night''s debate is... what will happen if this angry old man is left to represent the United States to the world.

What you''re doing is called "projection" - look it up sometime. As far as who''s "ship" is "sinking," check back with us in three weeks when the Dems control the presidency and both houses of Congress and we can talk which party tied themselves to a losing candidate and message. Your more than sad - you''re delusional. - Reply to this comment
- What''s your point OldGuy? What profession *do* you think qualifies someone to be president? And if your answer is "none," then how do make your choice? One would assume that because you ignore "lables" (sic), you look for the person who seems most intelligent, and in command of himself (or herself) and the issues. I''d say Obama has McCain whipped on those fronts. Funny, though, that you eschew judging by labels but you see the candidates solely in terms of job titles they haven''t held in years...

- All you people are severly brainwashed. It is actually so pathetic you do not want to acknowledge the truth about Obama, you''''d rather sink your own ship because it has a "D" on it than face reality that Obama is not qualified. Sad.

- Mindless bable. Why all the hate?
That is the politics of the past. We do not have to hate someone to vote for their apponant. John McCain served our country, and suffered for his service. He has worked hard as a Senator on some very important issues for the common good. I just hope he can get through this campaign with his dignaty in tact. He has earned it, and unfortunantly, that is all he has left to loose. - Reply to this comment
- Joe the Plumber? Oh brother. The plumbers around here make quite a good living. Who connects with that? He is not losing his house, he is not on food stamps, he HAS a joc...How is HE even close to the average American today?
And when he was interviewed, he sounded like a moron.
Obama, get ready for your White House stay. - Reply to this comment
- Wake up and listen carefully to these candidates. Don''''t let Democrat/Republican parties blind you. Obama is a lawyer, and behaves like a lawyer. That does not qualify him to be president.
What public profession does qualify one to be president? It is more then just a race between a Fighter Pilot, and a Constitutional Atorney. Lincoln was a Lawyer, but that was not what made his ideals admirred today. Same token , F. Roosevelt was born into wealth and ecconomic power, but again, that did not make his ideals appeal to the poor multitudes.. Black and white. Lables only work for those weak-minded enough to fall into it. - Reply to this comment
- Barak Hussein Obama won all the debates because he is clearly more intelligent, focused on the issues
and caring of the majority of the US population. Take note that his tax policies will not spare him from paying higher taxes. As for John ? McCain, he is the much the same as G.W.B. He favors the wealthy and has little care for the other 95% of the population. - Reply to this comment

OK OK OK already!! I''m awake!! Heaven''s!
Obama was never and is not now a lawyer.
He WAS however 1st in his class at Harvard Law.
Not 5th from the bottom (like some cranky ol'' coot I won''t name).
He taught Constitutional Law for 12 years at University level before 3 terms in the Illinois State Senate. Since being in the House he has
worked on and passed a bi-partisan bill (with Sen. Lugar - R) which keeps nukes out of the hands of terrorists. Plus he is easy on the ears and is already as presidential in his demeanor
as a man can get. I am fully awake now!!
Thanks for the wake up call. - Reply to this comment

- Obama was clear and consice and stuck to to the question. McCain sounded off on negative, false broken record, broken record, broken record.

- McFlipflopper was busy again tonight. McCain claimed he would "never impose a litmus test" on court nominees. In the same breath, he said he would base his nominations on "qualifications" and that he did not believe a judge who supported Roe v. Wade, the case that legalized abortion, "would be part of those qualifications." So there you go again.
