Debate polls don''t matter. However, ELECTORAL VOTES do matter! And those numbers favor Obama! Get ready to welcome our first Black president. Another glass ceiling comes down! This TRUMPS the first Black quarterback, the first Black Supreme Court Justice, and the first Black astronaut. He clearly has brains because he had to beat a boatload of rich White folks!

I like that Obama is always talking about the 4,000 plus lives we''''ve lost over in Iraq but he''''s for abortion which BTW has taken more 10 times as many lives as Hitler since roe v wade 1973

I was very disappointed that there wasn''t talk on the subjects of:
1) The U.S. is becoming a service oriented ( which pays very little- waitress, sales, etc.) nation vs a manufacturing nation. What can be done to change this back? As a result of this shift-We are depending on the trade of goods from other nations-Job loss due to the factories, call centers, etc. being shipped over seas. Not to mention what we import can kill our children and pets. i.e-lead paint on toys, tainted pet food, tainted baby formula, baby bottles made with cancer forming plastic to name a few.
2)Environment/Global Warming/ Pollution.
3) Student loans-Glad Obama atleast touched on this!
a)With wages staying the same and people losing their jobs as the cost of living has went up hardly anyone can pay the student loan that they have. Usually on a list of billing priorities, making a student loan payment is lower on the list after food, electric, phone(landline),gasoline, trash pickup, car insurance and so forth.. What can be done for the people that suffered a job loss that still have student loans?I think there should be a bailout on student loans. Heck, they did it for banks that lost due to greed.
There are people that have student loans and the job that they were studying for was shipped overseas or closed it''s doors due to the economy.
b)Will the student loan money be there for our children that are now in Jr.High or preschool when they want to go to college?

Just curious to know if this particular thought crossed anyone else''s mind. Before the debate came on a friend and I was speaking about the current event. The financial crisis to be specific. Then we discuss the fact that McCain didn''t know how many houses he owned. I then mentioned that Mrs. McCain just sold her Budwiser stock to a foreign invester. Now here''s the question. Do anyone find it strange that she sold her shares of stock from a company her father built just a a couple of months before the financial meltdown?

Is this strange or did she have insider information, like Martha Stewart? Let''s not forget she was relectuant to put her financials on the table, then she make this enormous sale of stock. This is the company that built it''s name as America''s King of Beers. Budwiser, so much for the Joe Six-Pack theories. As the old saying goes follow the $$$$$$$.

Did anyone notice just how many times McCain used "my friend" I tallied them, and I counted 18! Don''t call me your friend when you don''t even know me- It is like an stranger calling you "honey" or sweetie". I find it demeaning and a desperate attempt to bond.
McCain or shall I use his term that he used "that one" (which I found childish)- He talks about freezing government programs- i.e.- The programs that feed children lunch during the summer that otherwise wouldn''t eat or the program that offers housing to families that would otherwise be homeless. Like Obama said- "It is like taking a hatchet when you need to use a scalpel." Very well put.
I did make a note that after the debate, Michelle and Barrack split up to shake hands with the audience while Cindy followed around John like a puppy dog. Unless I missed it, I only saw Obama shake Cindy McCain''s hand while McCain was just inches away from Michelle while greeting the audience and never acknowledged her.

I was leaning towards Obama and now I am FOR OBAMA.
