Fannie and Freddy didn''t want to be regulated.

That''s why they were in bed with the Democrats -- who consistently opposed all efforts to regulate them.

The Republicans wanted to regulate Fannie and Freddy.

The Democrats did not.

See the Democrats on C-Span in 2004 fighting against efforts to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac.

This really is a Democrat-created mess!

scorpio59er So do you -- unless you believe that women (even young girls of child-bearing age) who are raped should be forced to bear the child of their rapist.

She should abort that evil babie unless it is a woman then she has to carry it to term or she will be denying a woman of the right to choose

It says "NOT" a government site. Try reading before you start slamming folk, ok? It was a paid arrangement by a third-party who wanted to find the truth.

BTW, I have been a computer programmer and website admin since 1996, so I *think* I understand how it works, but thanks for the lesson about /gov sites anyway.;)

Get over yourself! Don''t you realize that women were aborting fetuses long before Obama came on the scene?

No man on this earth has the right to choose to kill or let someone live and so I think it should just be fair for everyone but Obama believes abortion is ok.

Can someone let McCain know that the phrase "my friends" comes off a little like a used car salesman? It''s become such a cliche and trite. I do commend him for not using Maverick another 10 times.

A womans''s right to choose... Hummm women fetuses don''t have a right to choose. If someone aborts a woman fetus she just denied a woman of the right to choose? Would a woman fetus choose to live or die??? Scratching my head over here.

To UnDecided9. The decision of abortion is not decided by the President, it is the decision of the Supreme Court. Just because a President believes in upholding the Constitution, does not mean they personally support abortion.

By the way, Roe v. Wade is not about "abortion", it is about the right of privacy.

Furthermore, I personally do not believe in abortion. I have not always felt that way, but due to personal medical issues of my own, I now understand more that a 12 week old fetus is more than just a 4" blob of tissue. However, I do not believe that I have the right to tell someone else what they can or cannot do. My suggestion on the matter is that every women who wishes to have an abortion, must first have an ultrasound so that she has a full understanding of what is growing inside of her. I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks (still within the allowable period of having an abortion) and my baby had a beating heart, 2 legs, 2 feet, 10 toes, 2 arms, 2 hands and ten tiny little fingers and of course what eventually became a very cute litte face. The unfortunate circumstance of abortion is most people don''t have a full and complete understanding of how developed the baby is at 6, 9 or 12 weeks - and yes, it is a baby, not a fetus. Our job is to educate mothers who are faced unwanted pregnancies. Adoption is a Choice Also!

If I said Obama doesn''t have any brains does it mean I made any statement about his skin color?

It is a factor in the election because Obama does believe killing babies is ok and so I just can''''t get behind the guy because of that one reason regardlee of if I think he''''s right on all the other issues or not I was a former fetus so that is why I oppose abortion.

You still don''t get it.... pro-choice does not mean he or anyone else is for killing babies. It is a woman''s right to choose...not yours, not mine, not Obama''s, not McCain''s... besides, it is the law...and you abide by the law, don''t you?

It''s just sad when a man of McCain''s stature lowers himself to the level he has and forsakes his principles, his ethics, his morals because he can''t why any other way to the white house. Shame on you John, but then, like they say, "There''s no fool like an Old fool".

Is killing fetuses murder or not?

Posted by UnDecided9

doesn''t matter what the answer is... it''s not a factor in this election... and certainly aiming a rifle at somebody and shooting them is indeed murder..... over 4,000 in a war we should NEVER have gotten into....then again you are probably one of those uneducated misguided souls who somehow has convinced themselves that those fighting in Iraq are somehow fighting for our freedom and our rights..... then again, you have already shown your intelligence over and over in this forum.

Debate polls don''t matter. However, ELECTORAL VOTES do matter! And those numbers favor Obama! Get ready to welcome our first Black president. Another glass ceiling comes down! This TRUMPS the first Black quarterback, the first Black Supreme Court Justice, and the first Black astronaut. He clearly has brains, because he had to beat a boatload of rich White folks!

dontlikeany,

Please disregard Palin running a city. It was 8,000 people and she hired a city adminstrator to do most of her work.

My school district has more than 8,000 kids enrolled.
