Amazing how we translate mediocrities with "Good". She wants to be like "Joe Six Pack". Hello!! We are just finishing a disastrous run from "George 12 pack". What a mess he has left. This is the only idiot country that will elect a President because he or she is like someone they want to have a beer with. The hell with folksie and false bravado. Give me intelligence and competency!!She wants to be folksie and one of us, yet at every opportunity she fails to answer any questions on what her and McCain would do for the middle class. Case in point when Biden challenged her to talk about a plan for the middle class she states she will answer how she wants and goes on to talk about energy whcich appears to be the only thing she knows anything about. Give me a break, more of the same Wars and tax breaks for rich corps. Obama and Biden thats it I have seen enough!!

The cynic in me concludes that 46% of noncomitted voters believe Biden is the BETTER LIAR.

For example, on the charge that McCain voted against funding the troops because it contained a timeline. That may be technically true but a bit disingenuous from Senator Biden because, and this is important, President Bush said that he''d veto any funding bill that contained a timeline. I''ll say that again. President Bush said he''d veto any funding bill containing a timeline. So, McCain, instead of WASTING THE TAXPAYERS TIME AND MONEY voted against it because he new it wouldn''t be signed by the President. The subsequent bill that did not have a timeline was voted for by McCain.

Also, I''m personally sending Article 1 of the Constitutition to the Senator Biden''s office. He obviously hasn''t read it lately, or ever.

Finally, did I hear Biden correctly say that JUDGES should be allowed to adjust principal and interest on a mortgage during a bankruptcy? Where can I sign up! The last thing we need is a bureaucrat meddling in credit markets. Been there/ done that. Just take a look at Wall St which has seen it''s fair share of government meddling (i.e. Clinton forcing Fannie and Freddie to grant mortgages to people who can''t afford them).

You want Socialism? Vote for Obama/Biden.

As Democrat I was reluctant to vote Obama because lack of experience, now I do not have to. I am voting for the independent ticket McCain/Palin experience and true middle class values and honesty. Media against her, Moderator in Obama%u2019s pocket, Biden 36 years of spinning the truth. She conquered all of them, an invigorating mix of Bill Clinton and Regan.

The silence is deafening.
I hear crickets...

There are very specific crickets - tree crickets (Oecanthus). They are pale delicate creatures. I have caught them with my net in the South of Russia.

I have a hard time believing a lot of these polls, especially a CBS poll. Former CBS reporter/producer Linda Douglass is now an official Obama talking head, and people who appreciate actual journalism will not forget Dan Rather. Last night immediately after the debate the Fox poll was something like 86 to 14 for Palin. This morning it says Biden won? I suspect the online community organizing army of Obama was dispatched to fashion a simulated outcome from an inconvenient truth, which is that Palin connected better, even though many may disagree with her on some social policy issues.

you people can''t even be honest about conducting a poll,

there is no way people thought biden won unless cbs interviewed other democrats like themselves. o wait, you just interviewed yourselves

Sarah seemed to reflect more of the rural America values I have experienced.
I think that I am less undecided after the debate.

But mesabi67! She just seemed to! It''s a trick! Once she is lack of substence it''s the only thing left for her to say she will do EVERYTHING-EVERYTHING for America.

Let me correct myself. She may not have intentionally lied - I suspect in many of these circumstances she was just not informed.

Another instance that the link below did not catch, was her insistence that cutting taxes does not add to the federal deficit.

I would hate to assume she is ignorant on THAT one, so I''m going to cast that as a lie, to give her the benefit of the doubt.

aynes54: You said, "For Biden to be so experienced....he stated 10 untruths!!!!!He was so rattled. Go Palin....Tide is changing.Huge win for Palin."

Actually, this is largely incorrect. Go to: http://www.thetimesonline.com/articles/2008/10/02/updates/breaking_news/doc48e5872bf2ea3167290370.txt

They have broken down what was said and tracked that Palin lied 7 times, with Biden at 3.

Sorry.

I agree 100 percent with you night_sparrow.Was there a target on display striving to attend towards the illusiveness of simple-minded people? Is this the mindful construction of Sarah Palins Debate?Perhaps not comprised by her but,by those who have stood by the Bush administration. Her generalizations and lack of consistency on such dramatic issues, for example the "War" our crashing"Economical" crisis along with so many other issues, have blatantly uncovered her inexperience and inability to show the American people what is much needed in order to save our Democracy. It saddens me to see how people are still convinced by her"So Called Success"on tonights debate against, Bidden.Where is the people''s intelligence and diversity when viewing the real problems at stake? Her makeup strikes me to be a deliberate hope on those ingnorances which the Republican Party feeds off.Is this what the bush administration has strived for,to infuse the people of America with polluted ideas of change, patriotism? Of course..Do they take for granted the damage that has been done over these years,of Bush being in office? All these years of devestation and lies over the American people have become cemented, giving more power to Theocracy,Media, and Corporate America:All of which suck the life out our freedom and intelligence. We have to have courage to take a good risk on the "Democratic Party".
