QUOTE by darren12000(#5):
"Translation: 61 percent thought it was either a tie or that mccain won."

If we want to use your "fuzzy" Karl Rove-type math to analyze this outcome. . .then we could also say: Translatio: 79% of respondents said that either Barrack Obama won or tied - And the way I see it. . .79% who said this. . .is a lot more than the 61% who said that John McCain either won or tied. . .

YOU CAN TRY TO SPIN IT HOWEVER YOU WANT. . .BUT THE FACT THAT OBAMA "WON" BY EVEN ONE POINT. . .IN A DEBATE OVER FOREIGN POLICY IS NOT GOOD NEWS FOR "MR. MAVERICK" - I THOUGHT HE WAS A "FOREIGN POLIY EXPERT". . .THE NEXT DEBATE IS GOING TO BE ABOUT THE ECONOMY ONLY. . .I WONDER IF JOHN McCAIN''s "HISTORY" and ''EXPERIENCE" WILL BE BROUGHT UP IN THIS DEBATE? HIS HISTORY WITH HIS INVOLVMENT IN THE KEATING 5. . .HIS 26 YEAR HISTORY OF VOTING AGAINST REGULATION. . .HIS 26 YEAR HISTORY OF SUPPORTIN "LAISSEZ-FAIRE" CAPITALISM. . .AND HIST HISTORY OF LOSING HIS COOL?

JOHN MCCAIN IS AN UNSTABLE. . .RECKLESS, UNPREDICTABLE ''MAVERICK". . .I FOR ONE DO NOT THINK THAT OUR NATION NEEDS ANY MORE "SURPRISES" OR UNPREDICTABILITY. . .WE NEED CALM, STEADY LEADERSHIP AND GUIDENCE FROM AN ADMINISTRATION THAT IS NOT SCARED TO THINK BIG. . .AND ANALYZE THE WHOLE PICTURE. . .WE NEED BOLD, NEW IDEAS. . .NOT STALE, WORN-OUT CONCEPTS OF "TRICKLE-DOWN" ECONOMICS. . .AND MILITARY IMPERIALISM THAT JOHN MCCAIN SEEMS TO THINK WORK JUST FINE!

OBAMA / BIDEN 2008!

EVERY TIME I HEAR BARACK SAY THAT McNOBRAIN WANTS TO GIVE THREE-HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS IN TAX BREAKS TO OIL COMPANIES, I WAIT FOR McNOBRAIN TO DENY IT; HE NEVER DOES. THEN I THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY I WILL HAVE TO SPEND FEEDING FOUR-DOLLAR A GALLON GAS TO MY CAR, AND HEATING MY HOME THIS WINTER. THERE WILL BE DECISIONS TO MAKE. I WILL HAVE TO DECIDE IF WE WILL HAVE A DECENT XMAS, OR IF WE WILL HAVE A WARM XMAS. OF COURSE, THE OIL COMPANIES WILL WHEN ON THIS ONE. IF I MADE TWO-HUNDRED THOUSAND OR MORE DOLLARS A YEAR, THIS WOULDN''T BE A PROBLEM FOR ME, BUT LIKE NINETY-FIVE PERCENT OF AMERICANS, I DON''T. I AM THE WORKING-POOR. JOHN McNOBRAIN PROBABLY HAS NO IDEA OF WHAT THAT TERM MEANS; BARACK DOES. THIS IS NOT ABOUT RACE OR COLOR. THIS IS ABOUT SURVIVAL. PERIOD. GO OBAMA/BIDEN!

McCain looked like he was struggling to put coherent thoughts together. He was trying to sound smart, but when pressed we could see the real McCain. Where is the relevance on North Koreans being 3 inches shorter on average than South Koreans?

anyone who ostentatiously uses Obama''s middle name is a bigot. Stop trying to reinforce the lie that he is a muslim or emphasize that he is "different".

Some (most) Americans are ok with our president being different (black).

I was watching CNN.

McCain''s staff failed him miserably. McCain was upset and decided to say he''s a maverick and he has a great running mate who''s also a maverick.

The CNN viewer response from all three groups (Republicans, Democrats, and particularly Independants) dropped to the lowest level for either candidate.

Most Americans have seen the clips of Palin''s interview with Couric.

Debate: 90 min

Talking time each candidate: ~39 min

Time McCain spent telling prepared irrelevant anecdotes: 35 min

I want a leader, not a story teller. He didnt think about and answer the questions, he fit canned answers he had memorized that sounded good in response.

We need a New World leader, someone who grew up in an ever changing society and knows how to adapt to situations and deal with complex personalities not give geography lessons and act like a stick-in-the-mud. How can someone who cant even send e-mail be expected to deal with cyber-terrorists?

I hate the fact that all these ''Hillary'' supporters are now flocking to McCain. I mean seriously if you''re supporting McPain then wait until the Thursday debate, if that woman had any class or self respect she would bow out and do her party a FAVOR! And to those of you who thought that McCain won that debate then I just have one question, did we actually watch the same debate? He, like he normally does, just rambled on and on about things that had nothing to do with anything! He plays on peoples heartstrings about being this POW and okay enough is enough now! Oh and what does it tell you that if outside nations had a vote for the US president that 4 to 1 would vote for Obama, 80%.. WOW! Guess they''re seeing what a nation of blind idiots we are for even thinking of supporting McCain! The world hates us and we are no longer a beacon of light, like Obama said last night!

Could any McCain-Palin supporter please comment on these videos? Please!

John McCain''''s BIG LIES:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtZlR3zp4c

Then there is unrepentant liar Sarah Palin:

And, these Alaska Independence Party videos say it all:

Todd Palin an AIP member 1995-2002. She regularly attends their conventions...this is not just casual support...

Joe Vogler, founder of the AIP once said, "The fires of Hell are glaciers compared to my hate for the American Government, and I won''''t be buried under their damned flag!" Listen for yourself. See palintruth (dot) org for more. Vogler was killed procuring plastic explosives....

Tim McVeigh would be proud !

McCain accepted the endorsement of anti-Catholic Pastor Hagee, before he rejected it:

McCain-Palin are nuts !

If McCain thinks he can deal with world leaders and not look at them or acknowledge their presence , he is crazy. All this shows is fear. Will not go over well at all. It says, "I''m a doormat." This behavior is what I expect from Polin.

Once again, bobfell1 is more eloquent than I. By the way, McCain was shot down. Apparently he has made bad split second decisions before.

jcochrane6, McCain is the steady hand? He''s a fighter pilot, through and through. He reacts out of gut instinct and makes those split-second decisions that might keep you alive up in the sky, but don''t exactly make for great leaders. We''ve seen what shoot-from-the-hip gut instinct leadership does to our country over the past eight years. No. In this time of internal and external crises, we need an intelligent and *reflective* president.
