OH, I SHOULD ACTUALLY SAY THAT THE SATELLITE LINK WAS NOT MY IDEA---IT CAME FROM FOX NEWS JUST NOW.

THEY THINK HE SHOULD LINK IN TO THE DEBATE IF HE CAN''T BE THERE IN PERSON. FOX NEWS HAS IT RIGHT ON THIS.

Mccain can participate Friday in the debate by satellite link, so there is no excuse for skipping out on this debate.

He can use SATELLITE, CELL PHONE, REGULAR PHONE CONFERENCE TO BE "PRESENT." SO THAT SHOULD SETTLE THAT,RIGHT?

I think McCain acted like a leader and the MSM who have been biased in Obama''''s favor are livid that he did it.

AMAZING!! At last week McSame wanted to put together a Commission to "Study" the Crisis and when the debates get close he has to "suspend" his Campaign and rush back to Washington. Now how simple minded do you have to be NOT to see through that.

Reality.....Republican Senator called OBAMA about need for joint announcement of support. OBAMA calls McCain. McCain waits six hours to call Obama back giving his handlers plenty of time to write an announcement that gives public impression that he initiated action. Truth - McCain is a joke!! WONK WONK WONK

I was relieved to hear Sen. McCain''s announcement about suspending the campaign and debates to check out what''s going on in D.C. so far, all we get on the news including PBS is that there''s a crisis and all the spin about its urgency. World financial amrkets threatening to become unstabilized, as well as our own, and I would like to have someone of stature who has some independence examine the situation and options and tell me about it. Bush doesn''t cut it. I think McCain acted like a leader and the MSM who have been biased in Obama''s favor are livid that he did it.
