Barack chickened out of the non-prepared townhall meetings and now when McCain would rather work on preserving the U.S. as we know it, Barack is pushing so he can show us how well he can learn the answers he was coached through? Get frigging real, people!!!!

gretagreen: Your candor and cheerful disposition is refreshing! I guess you have not read up on what JFK was doing during the Cuban missile crisis or Reagan during the crazy 80''s or Clinton when our Blackhawk was brought down... Barack has had about 15 minutes'' worth of experience on either economic or military matters, the two key areas the next president will face. Good luck with your choice!!

Both Bill & Hillary are doing all they can to assure Obama loses. He has been kissing McCain''''s arse every since he promised to campaign of Obama. They are praying Obama loses so Hillary can run in 2012.

*************************************** That is pretty clear.
However we forgave Bill through everything all throught the 90''s. We stuck with him and supported him.
If they succeed, this we will never forgive and Hillary might as well find another line of work, because we will campaign against her.

What''s up with McCain''s left eye? Is it me, or is a bit more droopy?

John McCain has taken 84 million dollars from we taxpayers to run his campaign. The American people are expecting to see the two Presidential candidates side by side debating on Friday night.

I think John McCain should think twice before taking our money to campaign and then tell us he might be too busy to debate.

I think it''s funny when people say all Obama can do is make a speech or all he can do is talk. Well, do you folks know what a president does? It''s not super-action. Traveling around, talking, giving speeches and shaking hands is as much action as you''re going to see. The rest of the time, they''re reading reading, listening, listening, writing, and (hopefully) thinking, thinking, thinking. I think Obama will be a great president. You ought to listen to what the man has to say . . .

Grow up, John. You signed up for this campaign, now stop shirking your duties to the American people. We deserve a chance to know who is going to be sitting in the Oval office for the next four years. You can run, McCain, but you cannot hide, and if you are too afraid to debate Obama, you will suffer the consequences of your cowardice.

Just what America needs, someone who demonstrates erratic behavior when the debate was officially set a year in advance, and has cost the University of Mississippi millions of dollars. Nor Senators John McCain or Barack Obama sit on the financial committee and have been engaged with these crisis as they have developed. Lets leave those in Congress who have a clearer understanding of the situation to handle the crisis.

Frankly, I feel sorry for ANYONE who has to run against this McCain. Senator Obama must wake up in the morning and wonder what antic or gimmick will McCain come up with next? It%u2019s like the man suffers from %u2018ADT%u2019 and is bouncing off of walls. Making decisions on the fly.

Why is John McCain desperate to avoid the first Presidential debate?
