According to the IRS the average charitable giving percentage from a person of his tax bracket is 3%.
Sen. Biden gave in 2007 a whopping 0.31%. This was by the way his highest level of giving in the ten years... his lowest was 0.09% and he hovers around 0.13%.
The real average Joe was giving ten times the amount of Sen. Biden... at his most generous.
Mortal3, I know it''s hard for you to believe, because you''re not use to giving. But if you would try it, you''d like it. If our government wouldn''t take 40% of our income, charitable giving would increase for most people.
Probably not guys like Biden and Obama, they''d rather take from hardworking Americans, instead of give out of their own pockets.
Over the ten-year period, the Bidens have given only $120 - $995 per year to charity, which amounts to 0.06% - 0.31% of their income. The Bidens have averaged $369, or 98 percent less than those earning over $200K. During 2006-07 Obamas'' tax returns show that they gave 5.8% - 6.1% of their income to charity. During the same period John McCain''s tax returns show that he gave 27.3% - 28.6% of his income to charity. Change you can believe in as long as someone else pays for it.
So after getting his fancy law degree, Biden chooses to sit on his butt for 30 years as a scratch your back politician...especially in a state not even big enough to run an opponent against you...since your whole family is mired in Delaware politics.
ROFL! Biden is the only sucker they could get to stand up and run with Obama...he''s already a two time loser and there''s no chance of him losing his political career! All the other VP candidates fell off like flies they more they looked at Obama.
what a fraud - raise taxes to create more government charity but don''t give more than 1% of your own income to charity. Shameful but typical - Obama''s wasn''t much better.
The Biden''s have spent countless hours, weekends and nights raising money for cancer programs, Breast Health Initiative, Boots on the Ground, programs for the homless to mention a few. What have you done?

"Under the Obama tax plan, Biden%u2019s taxes would go up because of his tax bracket."
Wait a second! I thought the Obama plan would only raise taxes on the rich?
