The bill states that IF you teach *** ed to kids in grades k-12 then it must be comprehensive. It doesn''t say that Illinois is REQUIRED to teach *** ed that''s left to the Board of Education, not the Senate!! All it says is if you do, then you need to teach about aids/hiv, transmitted diseases, etc.... The ad acts as if children in kindergarden in Illinois are being taught *** ed because Obama passed a bill mandating that schools teach *** ed or that parent''s have to have there kid attend!! That''s a *** lie and THEIR disgusting!! Also, predators rape children of all ages, not just those who can read and statistics show that most predators of young children are related. So, those who can read should be aware but, those who can''t should be ignorant?

The %u201Ceducation%u201D commercial McCain released today is probably the most despicable political advertisement I have ever seen. Any parent with a child who was a victim of sexual predators must wonder what happened to the honor McCain once had. Some people think this type of education should be left to parents, but the evidence is that many young children are victimized by family members.
What was McCain thinking when he approved that ad? He should apologize and beg for forgiveness. Maybe he thinks his POW experience excuses his insensitivity like it excuses his serial adultery.

How come Republicans are attacking Obama left and right and the Obama campaign continues to go soft? Why for Christ Sake is the Democrats underestimating Palin? It was Obama''s star power that propelled him over Hillary who was more popular before the primaries. Obama seems to be making the same mistake Hillary made - underestimating Palin''s star power. Obama supporters are in for a big let down unless the campaign wakes up!

Is there any level that McSame won''t stoop to, in order to get elected?
Why don''t Obama and Biden take off the gloves and expose McSame for what he is, and his VP pick for the total whack job incompetent she is.
Negative campaigning works. It worked fine for the Repubs. last week, now McSame is leading. Negative campaigning works because people are too lazy or stupid to learn the facts for themselves.
Go Obama. Go negative.

Protecting kids against sexual predators is now "*** education" according to McLie?

WHERE IS THE MEDIA ON MCCAIN? As McCain has said multiple times- "They are my base".

The GOP is SO VERY GOOD AT DISTORTION and creating FALSE ISSUES.

WHY? This is the only thing the Republicans can RUN ON. They''ve screwed up the country so badly they need distractions. SO THEY MANUFACTURE THEM.

Karl Rove is at work again. Total slime.

Republicans should be ASAHMED.

There is nothing honorable about John McCain. This is disgusting, and proof he has sold his soul for a chance to be the next puppet in the Neocon road to theocracy.

If the media doesn''t hold McCain responsible for this, the public should.

John McCain may have served his country honorably, but he is running a very dishonest campaign. McCain is using tactics against Barack Obama that are little different from the campaign of lies and smears that George Bush used against him. One can see that Bush has run the country very similar to way he ran his campaign. There is little reason to believe John McCain and Palin will do any different if elected, which means the Bush years will continue.

It''s not about sexual predators - you morons! Obama supported to amend the Illinois state''s Education Code to require that all *** education courses be comprehensive and medically accurate, and include instruction on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases as well as HIV/AIDS. It also addresses abstinence and removes requirement to talk about heterosexual marriage. So - What does this have to do with Sexual Predators? NOTHING!!

If he really cared about predators, then why was he the only vote for SB 485 (Illinois, 1999) that offered "good time" for *** Offenders in the County Jail?

And, why did he refuse to vote on SB 609 (2001) that would restrict porn shops near any schools, day-cares etc?

BECAUSE HE IS A SICKO and a liar!!!

If stations held their advertisers to a higher (or any) standard of accuracy and decency, this type of ad would be banned. What it says, after all, is that the McCain/Palin campaign considers the viewers to be stupid or gullible or hateful enough to buy into this ridiculous distortion.

Just one more obvious example of the distorting, fearmongering perverse Republican party! Rove politics is all it is. I hope to God my fellow Americans realize this and do not vote for McCain. But I am worried...

Man, the GOP are a really sick and twisted party. I guess they don''t care if small children are protected from sexual predators. Kind of makes you wonder why.

I wonder why Mcain has a problem with our children learning how to identify sexual abusers/molesters? Sound perverse to me. Now that''s a marverick!

Obama supported teaching young children to protect themselves from pedophiles.

Does John McCain have a problem with that?

Obama should be teaching "***-ed" to his former Pastor, Rev Wright ... who is having an affair with a 37 year old white woman ... reported in the New York Post and on FOX!

Maybe if Palin''s daughter had some *** ed, she wouldn''t be preggie today!

"Yes, honey, when Mr. P goes into Ms. V, you can get preggie. It''s not like we told you about Jesus doing it!"--Sarah
