- Sarah Palin cheats her Alaskan constituents by padding her expense accounts:
The offical residence and office of Alaska%u2019s Governor are in Juneau, the state capital, but governor Palin has preferred working out of a satellite office in Anchorage (550 West 7th Avenue), a short drive from her Wasilla home. Quite understandable, and better for the family.
But Mrs. Palin has still been claiming Juneau as her "work station," and claiming a "per diem" travel and housing allowance for staying in her own home, sleeping in her own bed. 19 months in office; 312 per diems, $17,000 for sleeping in her own bed.
Most governments at any level and most U.S. corporations it would be considered fraud and grounds for dismissal if not legal action.
There are other items of interest in Governor Palin%u2019s travel documents, the most curious (and spurious) are those charging the State for her family%u2019s travel "on official business."
I guess the old saying holds true, "There is honor among Republican thieves." - Reply to this comment
- Obama supported "age appropriate" ***-education for children as a means of teaching them what was proper or inproper touching, as well as to protect them against pedophiles. McCain and Palin should be ashamed of their gutter tactics. The Obama campaign should sue them for libel.

- I didn''t think this campaign season could match the filth and lies of the past campaigns where Bush et al told so many lies about McCain and spread rumors that the ignorant believed. If people want McCain this time around they should have put him in office last time he ran and maybe over four thousand of our children and thousands upon thousands of Iraqis would be alive today. MAYBE, but then McCain is another Bush so if elected we will have more foreclosures, people losing their jobs overseas, no health-care etc. Do you Americans care? Apparently not as many simply will not vote for a black man and would rather see the United States crumble further and go the way of the Roman Empire. We are on that slippery slope! Please wake up America and don''t buy into McCain''s campaign lies. Investigate and see out the truth for yourselves. God is once again being used for evil purposes and this time by Palin and McCain. GOD HELP US!!!

- I am outraged by the political maneuvers that the McCain campaign is using. This might be the most despicable political ad I have ever seen. My friend said, "People should absolutely vote their interests, but NOBODY should accept something that crosses the line as the aforementioned ad does. With this ad, John McCain and his camp have shown they have absolutely no moral compass. The ad twists an effort to protect children from predators into something sick. It is disgusting, deceitful, manipulative and dangerous. While some people think this type of education should be left to parents, the fact is many young children are victimized by family members. So, the question is, what kind of parent doesn%u2019t want their child or grandchild (or any others who might not benefit from having a loving and/or educated family at home) to know how to be safe, to know what is inappropriate from people they%u2019re otherwise taught to trust? Shame on anyone who puts out this kind of trash%u2026 and shame on anyone who is so desperate to believe in their candidate that they can%u2019t both acknowledge this kind of thing as the outrageous filth it is AND call their candidate out on its inappropriateness." And I further feel that using ugly piercing sarcasm and perjured statements are as unacceptable as using our children in political ads. I am so disappointed that potential leaders in our country could sink to this low level. I am a female independent...but oh so Democratic this year.
