FrancisKt, I agree that this is all normal sort of stuff and the DUI (20 years ago) and daughter''s pregnancy are really no big deal.

But I don''t think Dem''s are in trouble, because of the policies of the man at the top of the ticket, McCain. Bush''s policies have been a nightmare and the nightmare continues if McCain is elected.

What many don''t realize is that the economy under Democratic presidents have out performed GOP presidents by a huge margin over the last 100 years and in the last 20 years (BUSH/CLINTON/BUSH) we went from the a deficit (BUSH) to the largest surplus in American history (CLINTON) to the largest deficit in history (BUSH).

I think this will yet again be a very close election. Pallen''s anouncement haqsn''t changed the polls yet, Obama still has a razor thin 3% lead.

Is there nothing to do in Alaska other than get wasted and make babies?

I guess drinkin'' and bangin'' are two good ways to keep warm up there.

ROTFLMAO!!! This news combined with the news of Palin''s husband''s arrest for D.W.I. should put an end to McSame''s campaign. Mrs. "Family Values" seems to be awash in sin, and yet she has the nerve to pretend to be righteous and right. Well, as far as I''m concerned, these people can put their "family values" where the sun don''t shine because that''s about what they''re worth. This woman cannot even teach her 17 year old daughter right from wrong, and yet she would prance about with the gall to tell everyone about "family values". I knew McSame was insane the day his choice of this woman for the V.P. spot on the G.O.P. ticket was announced. But, I didn''t realize how soon his lack of judgment and experience would be revealed to the world. Now, we all know, and all you McSame supporters can hide your heads in shame, as the senile, old man is given a fitting good bye party at the G.O.P. convention. Obama/Biden 08!!!

Geez this sounds like the kinda of stuff most Americans go through. A whole lot of us were conceived this way and guess what men used to marry the women they knocked-up. The Democrats are in HUGE trouble because Sarah Palin represents their working class base better than the 2 millionaires they have at the top of their ticket.

Looks like the Repugs are taking advantage of all that Gustav cloud cover to take out their trash...and it''s not even Friday.

NEVERKOOLAID, tisk, tisk, go to FIX''d (FOX) news, who I watch daily, and they are not even stupid enough to make the attacks you are making.

Again, I could care less what Palin''s husband did 20 years ago or that her daughter is pregnant.

For everyone else, just wait for more attacks from the Right-wing-nuts (the ones who have ruined the GOP). Don''t be surprised when they say Barracks grandfather was in the KKK. Don''t be surprised when they say he''s murdered someone. Don''t be surprised when they say he raped a white women. Don''t be surprised when they do or say anything to further their cause. All the while talking about "MORALITY" In Jesus name amen!

The news has covered both issues you raised and Obama wrote about one of them (drug use as a youth) and has talked about it many times.

The other is completely debunked. Go to factcheck.org for the truth (which you care nothing about)

If you had done one ounce of research you would know about his drug use in 99,..not when he was a kid!!
If you had a clue, you would know that factcheck.org is affiliated with the Annenberg Foundation,..Ayers and Obama anyone? This is just starting to be reported, you are a gullible fool!!

NEVERKOOLAID, you are an embarassment to the Republican party who still has a good number of respectable members.

Mrs. Palen''s husband is no concern to me what-so-ever. Her pregnant daughter is no voncern to me.

Wow...the news just keeps getting worse. Why did McCain pick such a risky, unknown for such a prestigious position?

looking more and more like the All-American red state family: Daddy was a partier in the 1980''s; mommy pumps out kid after kid; daughter is pregnant at 17 despite being raised in a strict Christian background.

McDole and Palin will do great in the south.. rest of the country will find them a joke
