I fail to see where we as americans gain ground by choosing our presidents according to their political affilation, I''ve always strived to investigate each individual seeking the office and find out do they hold our traditional values and morals same as we the people do, alot of the people we have sent to washington were honest and good people but the over whelming corruption sucks them in and then they are just as corrupt. Obama and McCain can both pitch good arguments but which one is willing to try and clean up washington and set the train back on the tracks. We all know they have no trouble being like pigs at a trough or making ***** out of them selves.

Her nomination is an insult to the intelligence of every American voter - particularly women.

The willingness of so many to accept or defend this ridiculous selection just goes to show how low the standards have been reduced. Bush set the bar so low that horribly inexperienced hockey moms are given the vp candidacy. I would have liked to have seen him select someone that was actually qualified or has actually earned and deserves the nomination - not someone that possesses the right body parts. What a sham mccain has become.

Mrs.Palin what a story of the underdog winning. Her story is already a made for television movie. She has faced more life choices andhas had more executive decisions than Mr.Obama has ever had added to his resume. I have never ever voted republican but I will this year, God help me.

Wow,
Senator Obama%u2019s great political fortunes return as once again during this election his opponent turns out to be a nincompoop. Senator McCain shows his political prowess is equivalent to that of Allan Keys -remember him, the non-Illinois token minority freak show the Republican Party sent to prevent Obama%u2019s election to the Senate. And now McCain picks a token female to woo disgruntled Clinton supporters, revealing just how stupid and superficial he and other Republicans think those supporters are -somewhere George Carlin is begging to be brought back to life to tell just a few more jokes. Yes, she%u2019s been a governor and mayor of the least-populated state -smaller than most US cities- and a tiny town, -I think they now have a stoplight though -and she%u2019s a moose hunter, a sports reporter and a beauty queen. A lifetime member of the NRA and chair of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission -Cheney approves. A BS in journalism-communication from Idaho -very prestigious; clearly no other education is required. Fully qualified, you betcha; to ruin Republican chances to keep the Presidency. She makes me yearn for Dan Quayle! Senator Joe Biden vs. Governor Sarah Palin, there%u2019s a wartime VP debate for the century. President-Elect Obama might as well start selecting his Cabinet%u2026Ding-dong, hello Mrs. Bush, I%u2019m Michelle Obama, would you mind if I came in to measure the drapes, thanks.

McCainiacs - you get a "A" for optomism and an "F" for substance. You''ve been watching Hannity again, who is an idiot, and his audience has proven to be among TV''s most ignorant. This woman - a governor of a state with a wopping 600K citizens that is floating on oil has - in her barely 2 years in office - had to deal with only one crisis...Getting an honest state employee to fire a state trooper who happened to be divorcing the Governor''s sister - now that''s great Republican experience - worthy of Monica Goodling - though at least she had a phony law degree!

Worst case of affirmative action in US history. It''s time to amend the Constitution and make the selection of VP an electable position as well. The people should choose the VP on each side. This choice is totally unacceptable and makes little sense. The person who is a heartbeat away from the presidency should be chosen by the people since we obviously cannot trust the presidential candidate to make the right decision. This election has been decided with this blunder.

Figured I''d come on over and publish to this blog. Sarah Polin is from Idaho. Source: http://www.spokesmanreview.com/blogs/hbo. She first graduated from North Idaho College and then went on from there to study Journalism at the University of Idaho. She was either born in or at least grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho. Which is just this side of the Canadian voter. At what ever point Gov. Palin moved to Alaska, but she is hardly a quintessential Alaskan as she is a transplant. Also confirmed by KREM2 news. By the way, only crazies from Idaho would carry an AR15 and shoot it in a gun range. Alaskans, well they might need a more substantial rifle or shotgun for hunting and self protection from the creatures of the wild. The sort of weapon as the proper tool for the proper needs.
