I am a Republican that was not happy with McCain, until today. I feel that he has brought a common person to the election that understands the views of the working class person. Palin has stood for what she believes in at one of the most stressful and emotional times in her life. I feel that she could make the same decisions if she were VP. I will now proudly vote for McCain/Palin.

Brilliant move. She''s extraordinary and the best part is she was under everyone''s radar screen. Palin has brought excitement to this campaign and I am "over the moon."

I use the term loosely and in a more moderate form. Obama is a socialist democrat. He stands for undoing the injustices set by a free market, he believes the government should step up and redistribute the pieces of the "pie." His "plan" is a degree of socialism.

I think it is commendable that McCain had the guts to choose a strong woman as his VP. At least he is still proud to travel and support the American Flag. Obama shows his support by Ophrah by putting his little matching "O" on his plane right before he went to the middle east. He took the flag and everthing patriotic off his plane and replace it with his own personal "O". Sick! God forbid, if he should win, will the American flag be replaced with and "O" symbol. Instead of christianity we will be "O"ity! With a flavor of musilism. He used Hilary at the convention, but too scared of a strong intelligent woman to choose her as a VP. I am surprised he didn''t choose Ophrah.

so dmswolves, you would rather have someone in there that IS for unethical things?!?!? Sounds like Obama is the right pick for you being that he is open to everything, including being friends with known domestic terrorists, felons, turning America into and other questionable characters, he wants to turn America into an almost socialist nation, and he stands for nothing. I take that back, he "change" which again, really means nothing

I am not a McCain fan but I was still undesided until this morning. I will not vote for him now. Him picking a unknown is not very smart idea. He turned 72 years old today if something happens to him then this will be our next PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. This is one very stupid move.
