What have you been smoking? The Rethuglicans have been protecting a genocidal killer in our midst. They''ve done everything they can to turn America into a police state.

My comments are as follows:

1. What you call a ''terrorist investigation program'' NEEDS to be redone!
2. you better take a look at who ACTUALLY did 911! It wasn''t Islamists!
3. Bush has limited your right to free speech, trial, habeas corpus, privacy,
and has illegally spied on you! You are just blissfully unaware of it!
4. No corrupt U.S. govt ever got ''hands off'' scrutiny like Bush has got!
5. I do agree that many citizens ARE an ignorant bunch of sheep, though!
6. You obviously don''t watch the news much! There has been multiple reports of citizens whose rights have been violated! And, no one has to GIVE you examples! Get off your rear, and research it!
7. There''s no need to go to China, when you live in the U.S., in order to experience impaired civil liberties.

Finally, this country is in perilous shape because of people like YOU!
People who are too lazy to investigate what''s really going on! People who blindly accept everything they''re told like good little sheeple!
People who don''t want to think for themselves, and willingly let some
one else do it for them, ALL to the detriment of themselves and the nation.

If they want to know what impaired civil liberties are they should go to China where they''d be shot for what they are doing in Denver (or even talking about it in a Starbucks).

You don''t have to go that far, just go to Guantanamo. Or maybe you know someone who was tortured by the US at Abu Graib, or someone whose mail was opened surreptitiously, or someone whose phone was tapped without a warrant, or someone whose computer was monitored, without a warrant, of someone who was rendered to another country so they could be tortured, or someone who was waterboarded by the US. I think you have no right to pat yourself on the back for all the transgressions committed in the name of FREEDOM.

The same folks marching in Denver will be marching in Washington after the democrats distroy our terrorist investigation program and we have another attack on the US. Instead of Bush bashing, they should be thankful we have a president who is willing to protect our freedoms even in the face a a hostile press and an ignorant bunch of sheep for citizens. No one has given me a single personal example of their civil rights being hampered, it''s all BS. If they want to know what impaired civil liberties are they should go to China where they''d be shot for what they are doing in Denver (or even talking about it in a Starbucks).

McComa never saw a war he did not like. Now he''s salivating to attack Iran.

ARE YOU BETTER OFF THAN YOU WERE 8 YEARS AGO? IF SO, VOTE McCOMA.

Edited version:
SharnCedar, you say that Biden is a "war-monger?" You obviously know nothing about him. Not only has he worked vigorously to try and bring an end to this war that began over LIES, but his son is in the military and has been fighting the war in Iraq, so I think that he has more of a reason to work to end the war than MdCain would ever have. McCain is so wealthy that he doesn''''t even know how many houses he owns, tell me he could relate to the average American during this depression that Bush put us in. Anyone that has less than 50 million dollars should NEVER vote McCain, not unless you want to see 4 more years of this Republican nightmare. I cannot wait till November, once again, the Democrats will win office and fix all the problems that has been inflicted by the Republicans.

"Protesters planned to stop random cars on the street and search them in an effort to recreate what happens to civilians in Iraq."

That is how people get shot. A mob trying to stop a car is not smart.
