well....he did later apologize and say he was only joking....

Such a comedian....

I wish he''d stay on SNL instead of satisfying his "ambition" to be president.

''Pony,

You seem like an otherwise bright and respectful individual, but you throw all of that away standing in the corner of an old man facing an opponent whose gonna beat the glasnost out of him with one hand tied behind his back. Face it, old man McCain is no match for the Obama Shuffle. In the words of Mr. T, "I Pity The Fool".

question....if Senator Obama still believes in all that Jeremiah Wright speaks....does Senator McCain still believe that Pat Robertson and jerry Falwell are evil and agents of intolerance and that there are evangelical leaders who have "turned good causes into businesses"...hmmmmmmm

''Pony,

Has it ever occured to you that Mr. Obama was leaving the church BEFORE the story broke--just a simple matter of bad timing is all. Mr. Obama is in no way beholden to Reverend Wright''s teachings.

The Obama Shuffle cannot be beat. It''''s really that simple.

Time will tell. In the meantime, it should get interesting. We shall agree to disagree. :)

mr2258,

Whoa, old man McCain didn''t put a whopping on nobody. Hold your horses...back the blankety-blank up and come back to reality.

As far as illegal drugs go, remember, Mr. Obama said in his admission about them is that he USE to, not still do...let''s get real people.

''Pony,

The reason why you sense a double-standard where matters apply to Mr. Obama and grampy is simple: old man McCain initiates the ground-rules of engagement and then cries like a lil'' beeootch when Mr. Obama slams him on the very issues he introduces. Again, unlike the weenies in 2000 & 2004, Mr. Obama hits back when the other side resorts to karl Rove like tactics. Unfortunately, for these punk *** beeootches, Mr. Obama takes the jab but lands the knock out punches instead of the other way around. The Obama Shuffle cannot be beat. It''s really that simple.

He left them about four months ago. Posted by BLKPRESIDENT at 02:57 PM : Aug 20, 2008

Yes, only after it became in his political best interest to do so. Had it not been for bringing it to the light, he''d still be there. I believe he really believes all that stuff.

Oh yes, all this speculation about who will the 2 Presidential candidates choose for the past month has been ever so exciting.

But the best part is that the networks don''t have to do any actual work or reporting. They can just bloviate over and over and continue their brilliant job of keeping the public in the dark about the details of events that matter.

One of the big reasons that McCain took a big jump in the polls. Is because Obama admitted on national TV to using illegal drugs. This is not what people want in a president.Plus McCain did put a whipping on Obama.

''Pony,

In case you didn''t hear--remember, Mr. Obama isn''t associated with that church or the pastor. He left them about four months ago.

Again, Obama is the candidate--not his FORMER pastor, wife Michelle, etc. I know it''''s hard/fustrating trying to bring down perfection...Posted by BLKPRESIDENT at 02:51 PM : Aug 20, 2008

Well, in the interest of intellectual honesty, all that stuff seems to matter where McCain is concerned. Can''t have it both wasy....sorry.

And Obama is far from perfection. Hell, he''s not even 100% down with the struggle. He''s cafe au lait! LOL
