That is true in many cases.
There are many, many Americans that would rather have you lie straight up to them.
Some people never grow up and cling to hero worship (as with McCain) and cover their ears when somebody tries to upset them with the truth.

You sound like one of those little girls who ''can''t handle the truth''

Warren lied when he said he was back stage in a sound stage booth and when in a fact mccain had not arrived. I guess as an evangelical he will be pray for forgiveness and will receive his forgiveness.

Oh he will just decide to be born yet again. That is what they do when their past catches up with them. They then inform us that they have a clear slate.

Like the former Leader of the evangelicals that was caught drugging and having an ongoing sexual relationship with a male prositute.

He has gone to drug rehab and has been pronounced 100% heterosexual.
It is just amazing how these powerful people can just keep clearing their slates over and over and people just keep on believin!

Andrea Mitchell doesn''t seem to be a fan of Obama''s. Her reporting includes more negative than positive about Obama. McBush has said the media is his base and they''ve acted that way.

McBush has criticized personal attacks like his campaign''s in the past, but he''s no longer man enough to do so. He said he wanted a clean campaign and doesn''t question Obama''s patriotism, but he won''t criticize his supporters who do so in their ads.

The honorable maverick is no more, bush & rove broke his spirit and now he''s just another old broken horse pulling the GOP dirty campaign wagon.

Maybe his volcanic temper is one result of his captivity. What was he programmed to do if he should become president by his captors? Is his bellicose nature just a continued reaction to his captivity in an attempt to fight brainwashing? Do we want a Barry Goldwater without the intellectual ability in command of our forces?

Would he be able to handle his campaign''s rovian tactics if they were directed at him? When one rumor was reported, he sent his campaign manager to complain to the network president, like a kid sending his mommy to school to protect him so it doesn''t seem that he''d be able to take it.

I read rick davis'' rambling statment and not one time did he ever deny that mccain did not know the answers in advance of his appearance. NOt once did he ever drny. All he did was to attack andrea mitchell. Attacking the media is good with his base and hopes to raise money from this.

Warren lied when he said he was back stage in a sound stage booth and when in a fact mccain had not arrived. I guess as an evangelical he will be pray for forgiveness and will receive his forgiveness.

Mccain was prepped on the questions by his staff and then appeared. He couldn''t attend without some advantage. What a charlatan

Mccain as usual has to resort to scheming to SEEM competent. Nothing should surprise us about the Mccain tactics. Remember he has Rove operators on his payroll. I guess it is win no matter what the cost. Warren, what does that say about your credibility?

It''''s amusing to think he made them up after hearing the long rambling answers of Senator Obama.

I agree, the long rambling answers are a sign of some thought process going on.
The sharp succint answers are a sign of being coached and memorizing the answers and using them even when they don''t quite fit the questions.

From George Bush getting wired in so somebody could feed him the answers during the Kerry/Bush debate to all the way back to when Reagons camp stealing Carters debate notebook, the Republicon politicians have shown themselves to be nothing but a bunch of cowards. (who go get permission from the likes of Karl Rove before they dare to wipe their own arses)

Senator McCain may not be lying. He may just be carrying on the Republican administration tactics of not informing the American people of all the pertinent facts.
My friends, he believes only those who make more than 5 million a year are rich, the rest of us cannot afford to pay attention.

MCCANE''S DAILY LIE

McCain exaggerated the extent of his proposals to cut taxes at the forum. He incorrectly claimed he would give a "tax credit" of $7,000 per child, which would be seven times as high as the current credit. His actual proposal would gradually increase the current $3,500 exemption, WHICH BENEFITS HIGH BRACKET TAXPAYERS THE MOST.

Rick Warren.....
"How was it like in the CONE OF SILENCE "
John McCain....
"I tried to put my head against the wall to see if I could hear any of the answers" Laugh Laugh

It''s not the deed ... it''s the cover up.... Why is the McCain camp all riled up ? He cheated.
Why wasn''t his answer " You know Rick... I have to be honest.. I got here late and didn''t make it to the CONE OF SILENCE when I needed to be, but I didn''t hear anything.

I''m glad that the McCain campaign is demanding an end to the kind of partisan coverage that the Clinton campaign faced in the primary. I wondered when I heard Senator Obama say that he had "cheated" by looking at the adoption issue, but then thought as long as the topics were shown to both candidates it was equitable.

It''s interesting that the Obama campaign was so quick to accuse Senator McCain of being privy to Obama''s answers when McCain''s responses were basically what I''ve heard him say all along. It''s amusing to think he made them up after hearing the long rambling answers of Senator Obama.
