It took me awhile to become aware of the pattern. The media saturates the public with something for weeks on end, and then does a poll checking to see if the publics perception is what the media intended to create.

I agree with Memekiller, to a degree... Let Obama speak for himself rather than the media and Sunday hosts explain what he "meant" to say.
Then the "undecided" public would get a full idea of the radical socialist that he really is.

What always strikes me is the difference between the Obama discussed on Sunday talk shows, and just watching a clip of what Obama actually says. Remove the filter, and this is Mondale level wipe out for McCain. His only hope is to have Obama presented by the lips of George Will. Let Obama speak for Obama, and it exposes how insulated the DC punditry actually is.

To hear them talk, Obama is too popular to be President -- not to be confused with the trust fund baby everyone wants to have a beer with.

Come to think of it, I think the 2000 election would have been different if Bush spoke for Bush instead of George Will.

I''m just the opposite. I can''t turn on the TV for 15 minutes without seeing at least one McCain ad.
