Sen. NObama''s whole race for the White House has reminded me of some drunk old red necks sitting in a duck blind, oblivious to what is happening outside, just firing his guns into the air and yelling S*H*I*T, every now and again.

The ads from both sides shows does so much to reveal this.

John McCain''s ad, uses some imagery I personally thought was a bit essoteric for this old ***, ut it merely used Sen. NObama''s own words to make some very valid points, and clearly Sen. NObama did not want his words explained in such a manner.

Sen. NObama promises to raise your taxes with this "Winds Fall Energy Tax" even durin an economic turn down.

Sen. NObama will continue to say NO, NO, NO to domestic drilling on any new ground, regardless of what you Americans want.

---------

In ever so classic fashion Sen. NObama''s response ad was a fine example of what his whole candidacy has been founded on.....His ad launches words such as "baseless", "low road" etc. (IOW Shooting), with emotionally charge words of absolute nothingness (IOW hollering S*H*I*T).

All the while continuing to run like a scaredy cat from John McCain''s requests for some live townhall style debates.

JOHN McCAIN FOR TWO DECADES VOTED "AGAINST" DEVELOPING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SUCH AS WIND POWER, SOLAR POWER, RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY, AND BIOFUELS.JOHN McCAIN VOTED "AGAINST" ALL OF IT!

LET''S JUST GO BACK TO YEAR 2002:

--- In 2002, John McCain voted "AGAINST" legislation called : SECURING AMERICA''S FUTURE ENERGY (SAFE) Act: (This legislation wanted to enhance energy conservation, research and development and to provide for security and diversity in the energy supply for the American people)

--- In 2003, John McCain voted "AGAINST" legislation which proposed Research and Development, which would provide for security and diversity in the energy supply for the American people.

--- In 2005, John McCain voted "AGAINST" legislation called: ENERGY POLICY ACT OF 2005: (This legislation wanted to ensure jobs for America''s future with affordable, and reliable energy. The legislation proposed to develop a COMPREHENSIVE ENERGY POLICY that addressed domestic production, energy efficiency, AND alternative resources.

--- In 2006, AND AGAIN in 2007: McCain voted "AGAINST" spending money on Research and Development of Renewable Energy, Including: Wind Power, Solar, geothermal, biomass, hydropower, and biofuels.

-- JOHN McCAIN ALSO VOTED "TO ALLOW" FOR ANY OIL THAT IS DRILLED HERE IN AMERICA TO BE SOLD TO FOREIGN COUNRIES LIKE INDIA , CHINA, AND JAPAN.

JOHN McCAIN IS A LIAR, AND A HYPOCRITE!!!

JOHN McCAIN RECEIVED THESE RATINGS FROM MILITARY VETERAN GROUPS: (FOR THE VOTES HE CAST IN THE SENATE , BY THE WAY, JOHN McCAIN MOSTLY VOTED "AGAINST" MILITARY VETERAN GROUPS, and THEIR ISSUES): HERE IS HOW THE VETERANS GROOPS RATED BOTH JOHN McCAIN and OBAMA (based on their voting record in the senate):

**(IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN VETERANS FOR AMERICA)
- John McCain %u201CD%u201D
- Barack Obama "B+"

** VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA
- John McCain voted "AGAINST" this group 15 times
- Barack Obama voted "FOR" the Veterans Group EVERY SINGLE TIME, but "ONE"

** DAV (Disabled American Veterans)
- John McCain has a 20% rating
- Barack Obama has an 80% rating

John McCain claims to be pro-veterans, BUT JOHN McCAIN''S VOTING RECORD SHOWS THAT THAT IS A BIG LIE!!)

If Obama wants to play hard ball, he will lose terribly because McCain will whip him good.

Posted by Peterp111 at 07:29 AM :

Lets face it--neither of them have the experience of running a country---but I''ll put my money in the fact that Obama can do it well.

McCain, obviously has nothing good to say about himself and is reduced to extreme childish mudslinging--lacking the intelligence to sell himself.

If you watch McCain at one of his "town meetings" he is reading his speech and gets caught off guard at some f the questions--I would love to see a debate between the two!!

The fact will always remain, Obama is not experianced and no amount of popularity or charisma will change that.

Isn''t it about time America faced the reality that the ''tried and true'' has far better odds (to make any positive changes in the future) than the ''uncertain and new''

"If you are young and not liberal you have no heart, and if you are old, and not conservative, you have no brains. "

If Obama wants to play hard ball, he will lose terribly because McCain will whip him good.

What kind of resume does Obama have when you get right down to it.

One that does not include the words "John Sidney McCain."

Sadly, that''s all it will take. You guys could have done better than this.

On June 23, 2008 McCain admitted that offshore drilling would have no immediate effect and that the only benefit would be "psychological" -- in other words, it would do nothing but con people into thinking their lives were better, as if they have that luxury:

"I don''t see an immediate relief, but I do see that exploitation of existing reserves that may exist -- and in view of many experts that do exist off our coasts -- is also a way that we need to provide relief. Even though it may take some years, the fact that we are exploiting those reserves would have psychological impact that I think is beneficial."

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/06/24/1163504.aspx

Everything I''ve read says there would be no actual oil produced for as many as 20-30 years. Here''s one that says there would be none for 10-12 years:

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/06/20/new_offshore_drilling_not_a_quick_fix_analysts_say/

So, McCain''s offshore drilling is just a campaign gimmick (+ probably a sop for the oil companies), insulting the voters and not having their best interests in mind.

Obama has the more rigorous alternative energy plan -- he''s the tree-hugging Democrat after all, and McCain is just one of the slightly more pro-environment among the Republicans who have always been anti-environment, who have always been dragging their feet on anything that could hurt the oil companies.

So, McCain has nothing to offer on this issue, except manipulations (of the public, of the truth).
