- John McCain is exposing himself to be a mean-spirited, nasty, insecure, petty, and jealous old man. He has done nothing for the past week, but cry and whine that Obama is getting more attention than he is.
He doesn''''t seem to be capable of tolerating any form of criticism without coming unhinged.
My guess is the people that would want somebody like this as the leader of our country are the 28% that believe George Bush is doing a good job.
I seem to remember back when members of the media where ignoring Obama and they were bringing McCain boxes of Dunkin Donuts. McCain was calling the media his ''base'' at that not so long ago time.
Funny, McCain never mentioned that he thought the media should be giving equal amounts of attention to the candidates? - Reply to this comment
- Apparently the McCain folks have the same memory lapses as their candidate. Only a few years ago the networks were in the Republicans'' and Bush''s pocket. You had the New York Times, along with the TV networks, printing and reporting info fed to them without question. They forgot their journalistic responsibility.
If some of the networks (excluding Fox) are bending a bit over backwards, it''s probably partly from their chagrin at being played for suckers by the Bush Administration. That''s not an excuse. I''m an Obama supporter, but I agree that Chris Matthews was a bit over the top. Where''s Walter Cronkite (or a reasonable fascimile) when we need him? - Reply to this comment
- mccain has only himself to thank for the media frenzy around barack''s trip. only himself. no one drew attention to this the way mccain did, and it has backfired on him. this is getting funny, isn''t it???? this whole rat race?

- "Poor John." Maybe that could be his new campaign slogan since he seems to have neither a message nor a slogan. Hmm. "Poor John." That has a nice ring to it.

- Its not that Obama is getting preferential treatment; its that Obama has been proven correct on all points, in matters of Iraq and Afghanistan and bin Laudin. Being wrong, McCain has only mockery and lies to fall back on. Actually knowing what is going on is beyond him.
People are fawning over Obama because the Maliki government has blessed Obama''s plan and because our military agrees with Obama about Afghanistan.
Being wrong on all points, McCain is painted into a corner. He either has to stop copying Bush and come up with something original, or LOSE, BIG. - Reply to this comment
- McCain, the former prisoner who approves waterboarding prisoners against the Geneva convention. What''s a catchy tune that sums up fear mongering?

- Sounds like jealousy over Obama''s campaign..one that''s centered on hope and change. Quite different from the Republican tactics of fear, lies and mudslinging. But don''t worry...there''ll be enough of that for both sides from the McBush Party.
