- As an Illinois senator, Obama VOTED AGAINST a measure to make English the official language of the United States in June 2007. Obama is proud of American heritage?

You have not even listen to his campaign speech. Change comes from bottom up not top down...He counts every little voices even when others deem insignificant. You don''t like the man just to dislike him and you should just admit it instead of smearing his character! - Reply to this comment
- Here are jokes on Obama. %u201CBarack%u201D sounds like US barracks, the %u201CO%u201D in Obama is hinting at praise, %u201Cbam%u201D sounds like bomb, and the last letter in his name %u201Ca%u201D could stand for America. If you stitch these together Barack%u2019s name is saying to America %u201Cpraise the bombing of America%u201D. What makes things worst when you think about Barack%u2019s name is Obama has worn muslim cloths, has a bad middle name (Hussein), and attended an anti-semite church. Believe me, it%u2019s just like someone with an Adolph Hitler mustach repeatedly playing football on the lawn of the white house. How could senator Obama do this to the country. Also, I saw the name %u201CBarack%u201D and %u201CObama%u201D and though of the bombing of the US barracks in Beirut, and the bombing of the US barracks in the Gulf War by friendly fire. His initials, %u201CBO%u201D, are like he%u2019s saying if you vote for me you will be making the country stink with radiation. Also, Barack%u2019s name can be seen to be saying %u201Cbaa%u201D like a sheep saying %u201Cbad%u201D (another reference %u201Cbaa-humbug), %u201Crack%u201D pointing directly towards John McCain%u2019s torture at the hands of the Vietnames. %u201Crack%u201D is a term that can be applied to being hung by ropes with your arms behind your back. So, Barack%u2019s recent attacks on John%u2019s war record are because Barack is literally standing on his first name. Obama has a similar name to Osama Bin Laden.

- The evil, cowardly Whimpo-crats want us out of Iraq NOW! Most of the citizens of the USSA want us out of Iraq and concentrating on Afghanistan, were we should have been all along! Even the Iraqis want us out of Iraq! And the average "grunt" who is doing the fighting and dying can''t say anything "officially" but we all know he/she wants to come home and get on with what''s left of his/her''s life!
Obama wants MOST of them out in 16 months. "Bagdad John McBush" McCain wants to stay an entire CENTURY (give or take a year or 2!) turning the Iraq war into a second 100 Years War!
According to Obama''s plan, if he is able to pull it off, he will still be president when most the soldiers get out of Iraq (and go to Afghanistan, probably!). Under McCain''s plan, he, and most of us, will be occupants of a cemetary plot before ANYONE comes out of Iraq!
I''d rather see an end to the "mistake" now or within 2 years, than have my great grandkids wonder when their turn comes up to fight in Iraq! They will have enough to worry about paying for the enormous debt on this Bush MISTAKE!
SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!!
sig heil, DEFINITELY MORE OF THE SAME, McCain!!!! - Reply to this comment
- Notice how the far-left liberals AVOID GOOD NEWS FROM IRAQ like the plague?
Ironic - because liberalism IS the plague...
That is why CBS has quickly buried any stories about the success in Iraq.
CBS''s new slogan:
"CBS News. Cherry-picking the news for the sake of the liberal agenda to destroy America."
But the sad fact is that liberalism''s popularity is sinking into the same quagmire that CBS''''s popularity ratings are, along with the Democrat-controlled congress'' miserable all-time low approval ratings.
Liberals are losing their War on America. - Reply to this comment
- There ya go olcottr, anyone against the phony invasion of Iraq and criminal waste of our treasure must be anti-American. You neo-cons NEVER accept repsonsiblirt for YOUR actions, do you? Bunch of pukes. Worst than that, your criminals that are destroying our country.

- As an Edwards supporter, then turned Hillary supporter when he unwisely dropped out of the race, I have to say that Obama appears headed for defeat for the same reason Kerry was---he''s a big phony, who looks down on the rest of us average Joes and it really is unbecoming of someone purporting to be a Democrat

- Vaughn Ververs wrote another piece of garbage. - So Vaughn, Did you get a seat on the Doubletalk express? I read yesterday that the McCain campaign only gives the good seats (and access) to the reporters who write good stories about McCain.
Vaughn is another commentator" pre-occupied with slicing and dicing every nuance (he can make up in his head) Obama says.
At the same time these biased "commentators" ignore the daily gaffes and flip-flops of McCain. Just yesterday McCain said our increased cigarette exports were a good thing. "Maybe that%u2019s a way of killing them", he said. Gee- that''s SO funny John. Maybe standup is your true calling... - Reply to this comment
- For those that say the economy won''t survive Obama.
I got news for you and John McCain, the economy has already suffered death and didn''t survive George W. Bush.
You Republicans just cannot accept reality. You insist in living in Fantasyland! LMAO. - Reply to this comment
- Obama will get our troops out sooner than McCain? How''s that? He now has adopted the same standard as McCain: talk to the commanders on the ground and let conditions determine when we leave. That''s been McCain''s position all along. And if the Iraqis ask us to leave, we''ll do so. Nothing new there. Obama is a big phony and it''s time you Obamatons realized that.

- The media is oh so worried about Obama flip flopping. Is that to cover up the many McCain outright Lies?
His most recent at a townhall meeting, McCain Lies about his Vets voting record.
*********************************
McCain: %u2018I Received The Highest Award From Literally Every Veterans Organization In America%u2019;
The recognition McCain has received from veterans groups is not "high awards" but failing grades:
%u2014 Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America gave McCain a grade of D for his record of voting against veterans. (By contrast, Obama got a B+.)
%u2013 Disabled Veterans of America noted McCain%u2019s dismal 20 percent voting record on veterans%u2019 issues. (Obama had an 80 percent.)
%u2013 In a list of "Key Votes," Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) notes McCain "Voted Against Us" 15 times and "Voted For Us" only 8. (Obama voted for VVA 12 times, and against only once.) - Reply to this comment
- Looks like even Iraq wants an end to it all, which fits neatly with Obama position.
President "GW Botch" on otherhand should be very embarrassed. - Reply to this comment
- You should expect a persons positions on issues to change as the circumstances change. The situation remains fluid over there and to marry yourself to one tactic is stupidity (which kind of reminds me of Bush). I don''t think Obama ever intended to just rip the rug out from under the Iraqi people, but I do believe he''ll get our troops out of there a whole helluva lot sooner than McCain would... by years or decades even.

- Hmm, the leftists will allow fudges on everything but stopping the Iraq war? Makes you wonder who''s funding them. Iran?

- Obama is one Confused individual. Never really says anything if you listen real closely. Flip Flop? An understatement.
The Military Commanders atleast SEE first hand what is going on. Can Obama say that? - Reply to this comment
- Ariel 133, I wonder if you know that the commanders on the ground don''t speak for themselves. They follow the presidential line thanks to the Bush administrations destruction of carreers by experienced politicians like Donald Rumsfeld. Not only did he demean the profesional military, but also wrecked carreers like Gen. Ricardo Sanchez and dont forget when the Generals said we need more troops at the onset, Rumsfeld had the General retired. It seems to me Obama has it right, judgement is what''s needed. Look at Donald Rumsfeld and see what experience got us into, and look what it has done to our military and their equipment in the process. Sending our young men without proper equipment is just plain Un-American.

- If Obama is considered to lack experience, and George Bush is considered to be "experienced", I will take Obama any day. After all let''s take a look carefully at what 8 years of experience in the White House has gotten us into. Four thousand dead because of presidential lies, over a trillion dollars in debt. The systematic destructionof our Armed Forces. We allowed, and continue to allow the bankers to run amock, resulting is the sub-prime crisis; lost all prestige and goodwill throught the world. For finality reached new lows by applying Orwellian doublespeak justifying torture via waterboarding. Experience like that this great country does not need. I speak a former Marine, and a Vietnam veteran.

- %u201CDon%u2019t be confused. I will bring the Iraq war to a close when I am president of the United States of America.%u201D
The only one "Confused" Obama, is YOU.
You can not make a statement of this magnitude without visiting the country and speaking to military commanders first.
If this is the way you plan to lead a country we don''t need your inexperiance. - Reply to this comment
