His name is Nader, not Nadar.

Nadar is Spanish for "to swim".

I will probably vote for him.

I would definitely like to see him and the other non-duopoly candidates invited to the debates.

I think that most people would agree that we need more perspectives represented.

AJMarine111,

Saddam was no threat to anyone. He was a secular dictator in love with himself but no fundamentalist islamist. In fact, we have turned over Iraq to the friends of Iran, the Shia, who were the most fundamental group in Iraq. How is that an investment? You fight against fundamentalist islam by installing fundamentalist islamists. It doesn''t make any sense. It would have been cheaper to keep Saddam in power as he was killing the same people (insurgents) that we are killing.

I don''t like wasting money, but you are not very smart if you don''t think we haven''t wasted money in Iraq. If money is to be wasted, I''d rather it be wasted in America.

You keep saying you don''t want to raise taxes, but it is already happening. The people we owe money to will start to demand their money back with interest (and with the dollars as it is, it might happen sooner than you think). We are funding tax cuts of today with tax revenue of tomorrow. That is not very fiscally responsible.

I don''t want to raise tax either. I don''t want to drink Castor oil either, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Life is not only about doing what you want to do. You also have to do what you need to do.

Barack''''''''s church is not racist. the former pastor has some baggage. show me someone who doesn''''''''t.
------
Suicide bombers have baggage too, Obama''s mentor fits well with them.
-------

He''''''''s not friends with Ayers.
---------
Friends, business partners, Rezko... how many more are there he is linked to?
-------

Iraq is a war started by two oil heads in the white house.
-------
Sure, there were no democrats that voted to go to war in IRAQ. Einstein.

---------
are you considering the shattered lives of Iraqis, as the war as left them?
-----------
The war did not leave as many lives shattered as Saddam did, if you ever went to IRAQ you would know that.

Michelle was specific about being proud of how many folks who were not involved in politics before.
---------------------
if you believe that spin you are a true lemming.
Are you a wealthy person? If not, Barack''''''''s tax plans will probably benefit you. They will certainly benefit my family, and after eight years of tax breaks for the wealthy, it is our turn.
-------------
You are such a loser, the wealthy still pay a much larger share than the middle class or poor, you will never be rich so you dont care though. You just dont have the brains for it.
--------

I think fresh ideas are a sound solution to a system.
-----------
good new ideas would be great, but obama does not have the track record for having any good ideas.

Mr. Marisol,

You would think that if this were not a racist country, we could have more than 2 blacks and 1 hispanic in the white house. I know you are white so you really wouldn''t know about racism in America. But you can sure see it when it''s on the other foot.

With no debt your taxes could be cut almost in half.

Posted by rharrin1 at 05:36 PM : Jun 25, 2008

With all the new programs coming on line if Obama wins, they will need all the money they can get and no one is going to have their taxed cut;.... much less 50%.

The first thing we need to cut is the spending in Iraq. It would be completely unfair to cut spending in the U.S. when we are wasting money abroad.

One last time whatithink,

some people look at the cost of the Iraq war as an investment in the future and security of the US and the world. How much is that worth?

You may not believe this, but some do.

For all the reasons that Bush said we went to war, it all boils down to a change in the Middle East policy that we have been doing for the past 60 years and has failed. With Saddam gone and the Palistians no longer having their Big Brother to drive Israel into the sea, they will have to make peace, the main problem in the world. Now Iran is flexing its muscles and the world has to decide if they are a big enough threat to go to war over or just leave them alone and see what happens.

No one adds up the costs of keeping Saddam "contained" and what we would be dealing with today if he was still in power.

As far as fixing the bridges and the likes, we waste enough money on pork to take care of this........remember the bridge to nowhere in Alaska?

We have problems in this country that I don''t think raising peoples taxes is going to help.

I know you don''t like what I have said, but that is what I believe.

Wasn''t Obama''s dad a radical muslim and member of one of kenya''s worst govt masacre groups?

He''''s not friends with Ayers. A small amount of research will indicate this immediately.

He is not endorsed by Hamas, in fact, Hamas has denounced him. And who gives a ***** what Hamas thinks????? is that criteria you use?????

Iraq is a war started by two oil heads in the white house. of course, before they slaughter any more of our men and women, this nonsense should stop. it''''s not about surrender, it''''s about avoiding another vietnam. and are you considering the shattered lives of Iraqis, as the war as left them?

Get your story straight. Michelle was specific about being proud of how many folks who were not involved in politics before, have now found their voices and are participating. Sound bites will get you nowhere.

Are you a wealthy person? If not, Barack''''s tax plans will probably benefit you. They will certainly benefit my family, and after eight years of tax breaks for the wealthy, it is our turn.

Bush was not qualified for this presidential position, but some halfwits voted for him twice. I think fresh ideas are a sound solution to a corrupt, old system that doesn''''t work.

rharrin1,

That''s the point. He wants to cut spending at the same time Bush''s tax policy has increased spending (owing money to foreign entities) and interest to foreign countries doesn''t help anyone in America. It''s illogical.

Can anybody tell me what qualifies Obama to be President?

The fact that he attended a racist church for 20 years?

The fact that he is friends with Bill Ayers, the terrorist that bombed the Pentagon?

The fact that he is endorsed by Hamas, the terrorist group that has attacked and killed American soldiers on several occasions?

The fact that he wants to surrender in Iraq as soon as possible?

The fact that his wife was never proud of the USA until Barack ran for President?

The fact that he wants to raise taxes several billion dollars per year?

PLEASE - SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT MAKES THIS MAN QUALIFIED FOR PRESIDENT!!!

AJMarine111,

The first thing we need to cut is the spending in Iraq. It would be completely unfair to cut spending in the U.S. when we are wasting money abroad. I have no issue with being more efficient, but every year we run a budget deficit, we owe another country interest payments and that is not so easy to get rid of. What are we going to cut - education, infrastructure? The wealthy need to stop with their tax cuts. Never in this country''s history have we cut taxes to the wealth of us at the same time we go to war! Being wealth in this country used to mean something - the wealthy paid for the wars as they benefitted the most from the outcome of war and their children still actually fought in wars. Now being wealthy means whining.

Wake up people. Whites are screaming racism, that is so ironic. Every minority has dealt with racism in America for the last 200 years, it hasn''t changed. Now all of a sudden white people feel racism. That''s hillarious because the majority of you didn''t care as long it was some other race.
