I don''t see Hillary doing anything less than working hard for Obama, here''s why. If she does a half hearted job of campaigning for him and he loses she will be blamed and her career in politics is over. If she does a half hearted campaign and he wins she will have no clout and will be seen as a spoil sport.

If, however, she does a hard solid campaign for Obama she wins no matter what the outcome. If he loses, she is vindicated and will be seen as the person who should have been chosen but was passed over thus giving her a huge leap in 2012. If he wins, she will be the kingmaker and will have a great deal of clout in the Obama administration. She will be seen as the power behind the throne and the obvious 2012 candidate.

If she works hard for obama she wins no matter the outcome, if she doesn''t she loses no matter the outcome.

Unity is only the name of the town. Hillary Clinton will throw Obama under the bus first chance she gets.

you are not really a democrat... its obvious. what you don''t understand is that we democrats having been waiting a long time for an African-American president. The Clintons are democrats. They too have been waiting a long time. This is history and if you were really a democrat, you would understand that the Clintons will do everything and anything to make sure Sen. Obama is our next president. AND, they will be loyal to him. But, since you are not really a democrat, you wouldn''t understand this.

" Hillary Clinton is stuck trying to do the real bringing together, by being on his side, when she was screwed by the democratic party.

Wow, what a whiny load of ***. Hillary stuck doing the heavy lifting of bringing the party back together?!? Perhaps if she had ended her campaign back after Pennsylvania when it was obvious to everyone that she had lost instead of assuaging her ego the party might need less bringing back together. She''s been completely absent from the political stage since her lose, it''s pretty obvious that she hasn''t done much of anything to reunite the party.

Unity is only the name of the town. Hillary Clinton will throw Obama under the bus first chance she gets. Just like she did with John Kerry. The Clintons could have helped, but they prefered we get an additional 4 years of Bush, et al, to make sure they had a clear shot to run in 2008. If Kerry had made it, he would be running again now.

As everybody in the Democratic Party has learned (many the very hard way), the Clintons will be around as long as THEY NEED YOU.

"Also, she who can be hired can also be fired. Clinton could fire Doyle again.
Of course, you presume Doyle was fired due to bad blood with Clinton, which may not be the case.
Also, Doyle may have been hired only to convince politically naive people that Clinton was eliminated.

Posted by gwagener at 05:00 PM : Jun 23, 2008"

Problem is that Hillary didn''t hire Doyle, Obama did. You have to actually be in charge of someone to fire them.

Doyle was fired Clinton, the reasons are irrelevant. It may not be the case that there is any bad blood....it also might not be the case that the Earth is round.

Yes, I''m certain that Obama would hire Doyle just to deflect speculation that Hillary is the V.P. choice. That conjecture is right up there with aliens manipulating the election so they can invade when Obama becomes President.

All Mr. "I bring people together" had to do to get a majority of the votes in the NATIONAL ELECTION--
have Clinton for VP.
Instead, he is busy spending millions of dollars to remedy a decision based totally upon his inflated ego, and Hillary Clinton is stuck trying to do the real bringing together, by being on his side, when she was screwed by the democratic party.

speculation, speculation... here it is: clinton has already made her position clear in terms of a working relationship with Sen. Obama. These two will be an unstoppable force just because of the fact that she will not accept the vp position and neither would Sen. Obama except it. She, is exactly what Sen. Obama needs right now. She and Bill will work the crowds AND unite the democratic party. If this isn''t obvious to you, you haven''t been paying attention.

Except for the the fact that Obama has already hired Patti Solis Doyle ...Not likely that Hillary is in the running for V.P. when the former campaign manager that she fired, is the c.o.s to the future V.P.

Doyle and Clinton are both adults. It would not be the first time someone worked with someone they had a falling out with at one time or other.
Also, she who can be hired can also be fired. Clinton could fire Doyle again.

This is a trial run.
They chose a safe state with only 4 electoral votes.
If the Obama/Cliton ticket goes over like a lead baloon, no harm done.
If the Obama/Clinton ticket gets a huge response, Clinton is on the ticket.

"Oh, I don''''t think so. It was pretty obvious that the DNC bullied all the superdelegates to put pressure on her, and in fact threatened her career if she took her campaign to convention, and if she doesn''''t back whacko Obamo...

That''s just not true, no one threatened her career and no one bullied any super delegates. You have no proof at all of anything even remotely like that.

You really do Hillary a huge disservice by making those kinds of claims, it makes Hillary look like she''s too weak to stand up for herself and run a real campaign,

"the dems are divided", "clinton supporters will vote for mcSame", "America won''t vote for a black president", "the surge is working", "major offensive operations are over", "yellow cake"... BRACE YOURSELVES GOP SCUMBAGS, CHANGE IS COMING LIKE AN AVALANCHE.

Indeed, the story-eyes idealists who live in a fantasy and make wishes and promises and cross their fingers that "CHANGE" will bring them fortunes and fables are in for a very very rude awakening. NO matter your age, it is always a good thing to grow up for a "change." and stop counting others to bring it you.

*YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR OWN MIND.

If you already voted for HILLARY

once, then WRITE IN her name on

the write in vote area of the

November ballot.

DON''''T LET THEM MAKE US CHOOSE

BETWEEN THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS!!!

Don''''t forget that more people actually cast their vote for Hillary than any other candidate in history!!

Vote the people''''s choice.
VOTE FOR HILLARY!!!

This is a STELLAR idea!! Exactly what I plan to do.

RowdyWicca,

One thing that we all should be able to agree upon is that no one can force Hillary to do anything.

That''''s ok, Hillary, make your few appearances for Barak Obama like the DNC has forced you to do!

We voted for you because we wanted competence in the White House, and a realistic attitude in dealing with this country''''s problems. That''''s why we DIDN''''T and WON''''T support Barak Obama and his shill game marketing campaign!

All the marketing in the world cannot give him experience, competence, nor can it take away the last 20 years of his life swilling himself with separatist values and whack job Marxist ideology!

DO YOUR BIT, THEN STEP BACK THE HELL AWAY FORM HIM! HE''S INCOMPETENT AND DANGEROUS!
