There are a lot of psycho-freaks out there - like clemenhagen1 and Jone775. You both are in serious need of some professional counseling.

DEMONIC-RATS NEVER LEARN AS THEY REWARD THE GRASSHOPPER AND TAX THE ANT

The Ant and the Grasshopper

In a field one summer''s day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart''s content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.

"Why not come and chat with me," said the Grasshopper, "instead of toiling and moiling in that way?"

"I am helping to lay up food for the winter," said the Ant, "and recommend you to do the same."

"Why bother about winter?" said the Grasshopper; we have got plenty of food at present." But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil. When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food and found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing every day corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer. Then the Grasshopper knew:

It is best to prepare for the days of necessity.

Repuglicans are stupid, end of story. This country will move forward again when the electorate thinks of "we" before "I." When this happens, the middle class will be restored as well as their faith in our government.

Is there a pattern here folks??

OsamaObama is proud of the fact he''''s a hyphenated-American.

OsamaObama leans on other hyphenated-Americans for support and funding. Gov. Arnold out in Californicatia for example. And, Hungarian-George Soros the money man who openly admits he is trying to destroy Americas currency. . .[sorry, Mr. Soros-G.W. has already accomplished this act!]

OsamaObama tells us how he has no problem with gas prices being up over $4.00 a gallon, . . .[is gas price the only problem G.W. is going to leave, or should he not be concerned with ensuring that the U.S. economy is powered by alternative energy sources and the good-paying jobs that this industry will bring with it?]

Every last one of OsamaObama''''s supporters are hyphenated-Americans. [And where are your ancestors%u2019 from? If they were all Native-Americans%u2019, then YOU can truly claim to be %u201CALL NATIVE-AMERICAN%u201D OOPS? I %u201Chyphenated%u201D Native-American, which some-not all-of my ancestors were!

Just food for thought.

"Obama tells us how he has no problem with gas prices being up over $4.00 a gallon...Likely cause he will cause them to go much higher if he gets in."

You do not grasp much, do you Sparky. Gas was at less than $2.00 when Bush became president. It is headed for $5.00 with a bullet as we speak. The Republicans will tell you it is all about supply-n-demand (demand apparently doubled in the last year and a half). What they will not tell you is oil speculators, thanks to a loophole in a law planted there by former Senator Phil Gramm, a leading McCain economic advisor, led to this Enronesque speculation. They will also rail about off-shore drilling or drilling in ANWAR as the solution to supply: reality check tells you that oil conglomerates are currently sitting on thousands of leases without drilling on them. Why? To wait to drill until the price spikes even higher to maximize profits, thats why. Bush and the Republicans offer zero in terms of long-term solutions to the problem. Their sole energy policy to date has been to fuel record profits for the energy corporations. Obama tells you that a gas tax holiday is an election year gimmick that will do nothing to lower prices or solve the long-term problem. His plan sounds a heckuva lot more grounded in reality than McCain and the fellow fascist Republicans.

Two observations:

#1. All of the Obama = Black Power haters fail to grasp the fundamental reality of Obama...he is white and black. His formative years were spent primarily with his white mother and his white grandparents. He lived abroad in Indonesia and in multicultural Hawaii. He transcends race but we still have many, if this forum be proof, who remain stuck in a time warp of racial hatred and division. Much of the ultimate outcome of this race will be decided by which mindset prevails.

#2. Those enraged at the Democrats for compromising fail to understand the circumstances of the Senate. The Democrats have a slim majority, and with Lieberman a defacto Republican on military / foreign affairs, votes in the Senate are a virtual tie. The Republicans have consistently used the filibuster to the point that any vote requires a cloture invoking 60 senators (impossible given Republican group mentality). Factor in the persistent Bush veto threats and the only way to pass any deal is to compromise. You want to whine, complain about the Republicans: there is nothing the Democrats can do about filibusters and vetos.

OsamaObama hung around in a black seperatist church for the past 20 years, offering an AMEN to everything Rev. Wright offered from the pulpit.

OsamaObama has domestic terrorist for buddies (Ayers)....How many of you have a domestic terrorist in your friends and family circle??

OsamaObama has a buddy by the name of Rezko who is now doing time in federal pen...But, not before he gave OsamaObama a real special deal on some high dollar real estate. How many of you have buds doing time in the federal pen who were so generous to you?

OsamaObama tells us how he has no problem with gas prices being up over $4.00 a gallon, he simply wish they would have waited until after he was elected to get this high. Likely cause he will cause them to go much higher if he gets in.

Every last one of OsamaObama''s supporters are hyphenated-Americans.

Just food for thought.

If you love America you had best pay attention to these patterns.

Tell you what Karioky boy....You want to paraphrase G.W., then don''t put it in quotes, and if you claim the man was using the Lords name in vain to describe the Constitution of the US, you best have some far more solid evidence than this brain *** you obviously just experienced.

Watch out, here comes another one of those black helicopters over that cardboard box you live in. You best put on your tinfoil hat.

Mid-January, 2007: Wolf ran a dinner for Obama in Washington, with potential bundlers Jim Torrey, Brian Mathis, Jamie Rubin, and (again, from the original Soros meeting) Orin Kramer.Early March, 2007: There were two fundraisers by Wolf and one by Edgar Bronfman, Jr.Mid-March, 2007: George Soros began a staged dance with Obama. Writing in the New York Review of Books, Soros denounced the rightist Israeli lobby, AIPAC.March 21, 2007: Continuing the dance, the Obama campaign rebutted Soros (as in, "Obama distances himself from Soros"), and denounced the Hamas movement.April 9, 2007: An Obama fundraising party for the New York elite was held at the home of financier Steven Gluckstern, the former chairman of George Soros'' Democracy Alliance. A photograph of the event, published (April 16, 2007) in New York magazine, showed George Soros seated immediately next to the standing, speaking Obama. Soros was enthroned as the only one in the room seated, stationed between host Gluckstern and Obama. Two months earlier Soros''s Mr. Gluckstern had been quoted in the New York Observer saying he MIGHT be raising "well over a million dollars" for Obama.May 18, 2007: George Soros hosted an Obama party at the Greenwich, Connecticut palatial mansion of Paul Tudor Jones, who runs the giant hedge fund Tudor Investment Corporation. They collected $2,300 from each of the approximately 300 attendees, the local newspaper Greenwich Time reported.

Obama''s opponent in the Democratic primary, Blair Hull, was a self-financed millionaire, so Obama used the "millionaires'' exception" to the campaign finance law to take $12,000 each from donor, six times the ordinary limit at that time. Thus nearly half of his $5 million primary funding came from 300 donors.George Soros raised $60,000 of this Obama funding, with his own donations and those he procured from his family. Soros reportedly met with Obama first in March -- a mere state senator, Obama was the only candidate in the country with whom Soros met personally during the 2004 election cycle, according to Soros spokesman Michael Vachon (quoted by CNS News, July 27, 2004). On June 7, 2004, Obama was in Soros'' New York home for an Obama campaign fundraising event.December 4, 2006: Obama met with George Soros in Soros'' mid-town Manhattan office. After an hour interview, Soros took Obama into a conference room where a dozen plutocrats waited to talk with Obama. Key among them were UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland/Swiss Bank) U.S. chief Robert Wolf, and hedge fund manager Orin Kramer.December, 2006, a week later, Robert Wolf had dinner in Washington D.C. with Barack Obama to map out campaign strategy.Early January, 2007: Obama announced his Presidential candidacy. The New York Times announced that candidate Obama had nailed the support of two highest-level Democratic fundraisers: George Soros and Robert Wolf. By mid-April, 2007, Wolf had raised $500,000 for Obama.

How Soros Financed Obama''s CampaignIncrease DecreaseMay 30, 2008 (LPAC)--In late 2006, George Soros, the British empire/Wall Street gatekeeper of the Left, vetted Senator Barack Obama''s potential Presidential candidacy on behalf of financier oligarchs. Soros then introduced Obama to a selected financier group, and Obama soon afterwards announced he would seek the White House.Soros''s involvement with Obama''s brief national political career had begun two years earlier with Soros fundraising for Obama''s campaign for U.S. senate, and continued through the 2007 Presidential campaign launch with huge fundraising operations by Soros and his circle.SOROS AND OBAMA - A Preliminary chronology2004: The London-Wall Street axis singled out Obama, then an Illinois state senator, as their "Rising Star" in U.S. politics. The Rockefellers'' family political agency known as the League of Conservation Voters endorsed Obama in the Democratic U.S. senate primary, ran TV ads on the Rising Star theme, and directly funded Obama''s national career manager, consultant David Axelrod.

Nice to see all the Bush-voting rightwingers here still spewing their opinions as if the last 7 years never happened. I can''t believe there''re actually Americans posting here in support of government spying on its own citizenry, and obediently spouting corporate lobbied talking points.Posted by christianeco

[[Seriously, what are you smoking? Your claims of "spying on its own citizenry" is a talking point straight out of the OsamaObama camp.]]

This is *America*, not Nazi Germany, the old USSR, communist China, North Korea, nor Saddam''''s Iraq. Leave totalitarianism to them.Posted by christianeco

[[So, you don''t want the government of the USA to do what they are sworn to do in the Constitution?? Well, what country do you live in??]]

It''s so sad we had weak Republicans and the opportunistic fascists in office to hand the terrorists more success over America than they ever dreamed of.Posted by christianeco
