- A real warrior? Bull --McCain ADMITS, both in an interview in the May 14, 1973, issue of U S News & World Report and in his autobiography Faith of My Fathers that, being unhappy with the fact that his captors weren''t giving him medical treatment after only four days in custody, he OFFERED to provide the military information which they requested in return for that treatment. That, and not the identity of his father, was why his captors took him to the hospital for treatment. Then, in the hospital, he gave the Vietnamese valid, valuable, current, pertinent military information (the name of his ship, his squadron designation and his target) in return for treatment.
Let''s be blunt. Through those actions, McCain betrayed the oath he took when joining the military (and, as a result, he betrayed his country, his country''s Navy, his ship and his shipmates) for personal gain.

- McCain is getting to be embarassing. It''s not just his age.....he just isn''t real smart. Let me re-state that....he is almost dull normal.

- McCain loves that no casualty bull but does he ever say how he plans on getting to the point of no casualties!!!!! Hello?????? Saying it won''t make it so. Maybe we should really throw him for a loop and re-phrase the question..How long will it take before there are no casualties in Iraq???? Oh, um uh gee...well it''s not too important to answer that now....I need a nap....

Can YOU put away the hood and sheet for a few minutes and consentrate swastika breath?? This isn''t about Obama and YOU attacking him about this shows how bigoted and selfish you are. This is about a man who seems to lack the ability to retain basic knowledge about the situation at hand and the conditions our military is serving under. They are KILLING themselves in RECORD numbers. They have RECORD Numbers coming home mentally unstable. Now we have someone who wants to lead this nation telling us all that it''s "Not too Important" when they come home. Now Sparky, even in the land of the burning cross, that''s a BIGGIE! Okay you can put your hood and sheet back on now. Ready?? SIEG HEIL GRAND WIZARD!! - Reply to this comment

Excuse me but your swastika is showing!! Because this OLD TIRED Senator served in the military no more makes him capable of leading this nation than a frog does of laying eggs! This is also NOT "parsing words". This IS about putting a man who seem to lack the basic knowledge of what it''s like to actually BE on the ground in Combat and someone who seems willing to keep our troops IN that combat unending. I saw a lot like him in the Marine Corps... they LOVE the idea of war, they LOVE the idea of being in command of a War. This Old Man can NOT wait to get his chubby little hands on the worlds most lethal military and there is NO doubt about that. Not a good choice to lead a nation that''s supposed to be guided by CIVILIAN Government. SIEG HEIL BUSH By the way the "A-4" IS NOT a fighter jet....- Reply to this comment

Actually, he flew more than one. He actually trashed five of them, only one in combat. - Reply to this comment

Excuse me but what makes you say that McCain was a great warrior ?
I''m still very curious to see what great he achieved when being in the army. - Reply to this comment

*** I''d rather have a Democratic president while we are there for 5 or more years, because atleast then the wealthiest of Americans will pay their fair share of taxes, unlike how they have gotten away with everything under bush. If tax cuts for the wealthiest of Americans really creates jobs, then why can''t the republican''s release figures proving so? Why? Because they can''t! Those tax cuts are just to pay back the people that paid their campaign! - Reply to this comment

*** yeah... all we would get from Mccain would be another bush, that has military experience, dear god would we be in trouble if he got elected. Please don''t let rich criminals keep power. Vote Democrat this November! - Reply to this comment
- Parsing words, parsing words. Is that all you got Obamaniks. Guess there was nothing big to talk about today. McCain was a fighter pilot and flew an A4E Skyhawk. Hmmm, wonder if that''''s as complicated as a computer. You people are pathetic. This guy is an American Patriot and NO-bama couldn''''t even make it as an attorney but he''''s real good at BS and reading speeches. You''''d rather worship the jerk who promises you the world and then reneges. Wake up from your dream and see the guy who is leveling with you. But that''''s the way of the American voter. You always choose the loser who lies to you. That''''s how we ended up with Bush. Posted by lottobee at 10:58 PM : Jun 11, 2008
*** I''d rather Have Obama make me promies of a better America, rather than Juan Amnesty Mccain telling me that he wants to let over 12 million illegal immigrants get amnesty and take our blue collar jobs from us! Atleast Obama offers hope. Mccain offers us more of Bush''s failed policy ideas! Why would anyone want more of Bush''s horrible economic ideas? When is Bush/Mccain going to release proof of tax cuts for the extremely wealthy creating jobs? Those tax cuts don''t create jobs, if so, then show us!!!!! - Reply to this comment
- McCain had a *** Cheney moment.
When asked how that assessment comports with recent polls that show about two-thirds of Americans say the fight in Iraq is not worth it, Cheney replied, ''So?''
Let''s not give McCain the chance to say, ''So?'' when asked about Iran. - Reply to this comment

- But seriously, the truly scary part here is that McCain doesn''''t see the difference between Iraq and Germany. And his stregnths are supposed to be foreign policy and security?
This is simply further proof, that as it pertains to his single issue [the Iraq War], McCain is incompetent.
Heaven forbid he be elected!!

SEN. McCAIN: No. No. I%u2013the fact is that I%u2019m different but the fact is that I have agreed with President Bush far more than I have disagreed. And on the transcendent issues, the most important issues of our day, I%u2019ve been totally in agreement and support of President Bush. - Reply to this comment
- Iraq can be like Germany or South Korea according to McCain. Did anyone tell McCain about Sunnis and Shia? Germany and Korea don''t have Sunnis and Shia. When will McCain learn that Iraq can never be like Germany or Korea in terms of an occupation? Someone should show him a computer and teach him about the world.

- Unlike Germany & Japan, I don''t believe there will be peace in Iraq until US forces have withdrawn. Until that happens, forces in the region will constantly agitate the US military. It''s a war of attrution, and it''s one we can no longer afford. Maybe *** Cheney can afford to pay for it all?!

- Incidentally, my 82 year old father-in-law can use a computer. So, it''s not McCain''s extremely advanced old age that causes him to be so remote to basic office tools.
