McCain is correct. It''''''''''''''''s only bedwetting liberals who believe the enemies of our country deserve the rights afforded to US citizens.

The NSA spy program was for political purposes, just like every other agency the Bush Administration has infected with Right Wing Operatives and Cronies. The FISA court has been completely adequate to suffice today%u2019s high tech needs for security. George Bush started this illegal wiretapping of foreign communications during his (well known now) bogus run-up to invading Iraq. Bush wanted to know what United Nations Members were talking about, and if they were going to impede his plan. Illegal wiretapping and eaves dropping for oppositional research has become another sick and paranoid obsession that has afflicted the Republican Party.

Brian Montopoli, is ignoring another part of this issue - the fact that McCain has flip flopped on this issue. Instead, Montopoli is covering McCain''s rear by perpetuating this fake portrayal of McCain as a "straight talker" - this despite McCain''s multiple flip flops on virtually every single issue.

Here''s a Q&A with the Boston Globe on December 20, 2007:

"1. Does the president have inherent powers under the Constitution to conduct surveillance for national security purposes without judicial warrants, regardless of federal statutes?

McCain: There are some areas where the statutes don''t apply, such as in the surveillance of overseas communications. Where they do apply, however, I think that presidents have the obligation to obey and enforce laws that are passed by Congress and signed into law by the president, no matter what the situation is.

Okay, so is that a no, in other words, federal statute trumps inherent power in that case, warrantless surveillance?

McCain: I don''t think the president has the right to disobey any law."

Joe. You got less than 1% of the vote in the Iowa primary after campaigning there 24 x 7 for 4 months. The guy''s vote you did get left his glasses at home and voted for you by mistake. Shut up already. You cant even get 2 out of 100 Democrats to agree with you on anything.

Anyone who spies on you is your enemy.
Anyone who tries to ban your guns is your enemy.

No matter who wins the election, more enemies will be made.
