"JOHN MCCAIN

Posted by laurieleemoo at 05:24 PM : Jun 04, 2008"

LOL, look, laurieleemoo or larieleecow or whatever, you''re delusional. The Dems came out in historic numbers, they are going to come out in even greater historic numbers for the GE. Republicans came out in historic numbers too...historically low.

I''ll save you a seat at the Obama inauguration...on second I''ll save you two seats.

One cannot indicate that she wants the post, one has to wait to be offered before voicing any opinion.

Posted by karutam at 04:45 PM : Jun 04, 2008

She has not said that she "wants" it. She was asked by a reporter if she would take it if it was offered and she said she would "if it would help the Democrats win".

I''m so tired of all the lies about Hillary!

No way should Obama choose Clinton as his running mate. They cannot and will not win together.
1) Bill''s still making scandalous headlines
2) Hill''s scandalous headlines haven''t even started yet. She''s not vetted.
3) Her approval ratings are very low. She''s divisive, polarizing, and a blunt, bold faced liar.
4) How much debt did her campaign run up? Too irresponsible.
5) The international community doesn''t want another "cowboy" in The White House. Hillary is too much like George W. Bush and *** Cheney

As a lifelong Republican I have never voted for a Democract presidential candidate. But I am leaning toward voting for Obama. However, not if Clinton is his VP running mate.

Danger. Political fallout hazard zone.

Clinton VP and associated vulnerabilities to consider in the continuous assessment of this risk = a millstone around your Presidential neck.

Defined as a problem or responsibility that you have all the time thus preventing you from doing what you want.

Choose a successful fresh and clear path of less thorny obstruction and wretched underling syndrome in political meltdown ambition suppressing entanglement.

Demonstrate what change in our American political culture can truly be by choosing a compatible VP to compliment your inspiring campaign not complicate it.

Select your VP wisely and you will be vindicated.

Obama would be totally pummeled by the Clintons if Hillary is the VP. Firstly, this is blackmail, pure and simple. One cannot indicate that she wants the post, one has to wait to be offered before voicing any opinion. It would be a disaster of titanic proportions if she is on the ticket, and this administration would not survive. All her supporters claimed to have been cheated -by whom?? She lost, plain and simple too; it wasn''t a tie, and nomination decided by delegates and not votes. Trying to change the rules again to suit her, just like in MI and FL. Her supporters may have an axe to grind, they want to remain in positions of power if she wins, so just be good sports, accept the rules and admit that she lost this time. Perhaps she should do as her supporters say - become an independent. I think the party would be much better off without this kind of bitter and poisonous atmosphere. Let us get on with our lives and work for a democratic president rather than pandering to the Clintons any further!

Early slaveholders made up the "fact" the blacks were less than human so that they could own slaves without feeling guilty. THEY WERE WRONG ABOUT ALL THAT. So let''s get over the race issue right now. We are all equal.

"Whoever said that after denial comes acceptance hadn%u2019t met the Clintons." - MoDo, today.

Pres. Jimmy Carter is positively RIGHT and he is NOT ALONE IN THIS BELIEF! The clintons [don''t ever forget you get 2/1] should NOT NOW, NOT EVER be the VP! Unlike Lincoln with Seward, Chase and Bates, Obama would NEVER be able to TRUST the clintons with their never ending LYING! He would have to HIRE A LOYAL FELLOW to keep an ever-watchful eye on them 24/7!

Moveon.org, Built on Soros Money, Campaigns for Pelosi Against Clinton -- 6/1/08 (LPAC)--The Web-based organization moveon.org is running a pressure campaign against "millionaire donors" who support Hillary Clinton. The initiative is the more shameless in that it was notoriously one particular billionaire who pumped up moveon: George Soros. The current moveon pitch is as follows:
A compiled petition with your individual comment will be presented to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership.
Full petition text: "The Democratic nomination should be decided by the voters--not by superdelegates or party high-rollers. We''ve given money--and time--to progressive candidates and causes, and we''ll support Speaker Pelosi and others who stand up for Democracy in the Democratic Party." Embarrassingly, since Hillary Clinton has been moving ahead of Obama in popular votes in the primaries, House Speaker Pelosi has reversed herself and said only delegates, and not popular vote totals, are significant. George Soros is the leading contributor to moveon.org.
In 2003, George Soros met with Moveon.org founder Wesley Blade at Soros''s New York home, and arranged that Soros and his associates would lavishly fund Moveon and 2003-2004 was just short of $6.2M. In 2004, just after this arrangement was made, George Soros began his personal sponsorship of Barack Obama''s political career.

Right ON! Hillary for VP!

They''ll have to re-scale the "candidate negatives" chart to accomodate those two together.

:-D

Obama needs someone he can work with, and Hillary burned all her bridges during the campaign (despite warnings about it). There are way too many hard feelings, and she would try to sabotage things. Obama needs to put together a cohesive team.
