- I would say that I would have also prefered if McClellen had "spoken up" when he was in the middle of what we are finding out more & more about the Bush Administration and the way it is run & the decisions it made.
I would also have really preferred it if the wimpy media had spoken up more during the lead up to the Iraq war.
But, as we are all aware, in the time after 9/11 anyone, anyone, who dared say a word against Bush & his cohorts actions was branded not only as a liar but as an absolute traitor. So I can see some reluctance on his part for not saying so sooner. - Reply to this comment
- seriously, she''s not as bad as McCain. despite her insane accusations, she will protect our civil liberties. McCain, as Bush, will not.

2 I neither support or condone the way HRC has cheated, lied or reneged on pledges or the ugly campaigning --a vote FROM me would endorse her behavior and pave the way for other Dems to act that way (like a vote in Iraq justified the Democracy claim of Bush in Iraq) - Reply to this comment

- f what you are saying is true...WHERE ARE THE OPPOSITION that were in the ''''room'''' when bush and his cabal were beating this drum???...

The opposition are waiting to be elected. Very few of those on the hill can withstand what Bush has on them. It will have to take people who Bush does not have dirt on to act or an agreement from the American people, that no matter what we learn of our Congress, we will not retaliate so long as they bring Bush to justice. This is classic. No body goes against the bad guys when the bad guys have their ballz in a jar. - Reply to this comment
- Hey libsluv2spit,
"again...why isnt the opposition getting involved?? why is this again a forgotten event?? why is the DNC abandoned this???
THINK!!!!!!!"
Simple Kindergarden question. Please review in the Internet the U.S. Constitution about the FILIBUSTER POWERS.
After 1-Jan-2009, we can all finally say Good-Bye to the Filibuster and Veto powers for at least 40 plus years.
President Bush has been the greatest president for the Democratic Party. You are only adding more members to the democratic party with your loyalty to the NeoCons party instead of our America. Hate to say this but I love you muncho for what you are doing here for your enemies. Keep it up! - Reply to this comment

The (illegal?) NSA Spy Program was not sustained by the congress even at Bush%u2019s behest. It was actually the Republicans that have abandoned the override necessary to reinstate Bush%u2019s wiretapping scam.
Maybe someone in the NSA will write a book telling us all about it%u2026. - Reply to this comment

I have a different take on all of this. I agree there will be a backlash if HRC is allowed to cheat--but I will NOT vote for her if she has the nomination.
Why?
1. I am not a Democrat or Republican so am not bound by "party loyalties"
2 I neither support or condone the way HRC has cheated, lied or reneged on pledges or the ugly campaigning --a vote for me would endorse her behavior and pave the way for other Dems to act that way (like a vote in Iraq justified the Democracy claim of Bush in Iraq)
3. I would not vote for her to protect my civil liberties, because she would not. I see her in much the same way as I see Bush--and evil knows no party affiliation. I have no doubt, if HRC is President, payback is imminent, every aspect of gov will be used and she will spy, wiretap, threaten and harm her enemies.
She gets a no in 2008 2012 2016 or whenever--she should be nowhere near the annals of power and yes--I am willing to bite 4 more years of McCain and the evil Republican debacle than let HRC have her shot. Hillary is very bright but also maelevolent, couple that with sociopathic tendencies and you have a nightmare without end. Bush was not that bright and he was not a sociopath--though he was and is a BFL. (big fat liar) Hillary could put Dem in the same duped and disgraced boat as neo cons--only worse.- Reply to this comment

Curious - the only mention of goose-stepping is from people of your philosophical leaning.
President Bush has never mentioned Goose-stepping. - Reply to this comment
