this proves that people dont understand minorities. do you expect a person of mixed ancestory to not question and search for a sense of identity? realize that america is nothing but mixed ancestory. interracial marriages are common and i bet you every biracial kid goes through this. during vietnam when all those white american soldiers were marrying vietnamese women their children spoke out in the same fashion. this is rediculous read a book not written by a white historian

Obama is his own words in his book:

And it was equally candid about his youthful struggles: pot, booze and %u201Cmaybe a
little blow,%u201D he wrote, could %u201Cpush questions of who I was out of my mind,%u201D
flatten %u201Cout the landscape of my heart, blur the edges of my memory.%u201D Most
memorably, the book gave the reader a heartfelt sense of what it was like to
grow up in the 1960%u2019s and 70%u2019s, straddling America%u2019s color lines: the sense of
knowing two worlds and belonging to neither, the sense of having to forge an
identity of his own.

MALCOLM X ??????

Malcolm X%u2019s autobiography seemed to offer something different,%u201D Obama wrote.
%u201CHis repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words,
his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order,
martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force of will.%u201D

While working as a community organizer for a group of churches in Chicago, Obama
was repeatedly asked to join Christian congregations, but begged off.

SCARY AS HELL !!

first off what ferraro said wasnt racists it was pointless but not racists. and bob johnson is a disgrace BET is *** and has been so for a long time. white america has lost its equal rights? get outta here with that. its 270 million whites what is equal about that. you must think that people of color dont harbor some ill will or resentment towards the treatment of minorites in america over its creation. this is not new. wake up and realize that minorites see america differently

Rev.Wright ("just sound bites")
Who will really run the country ?

Obama says that rather than advising him on strategy, Wright helps keep his
priorities straight and his moral compass calibrated.

%u201CWhat I value most about Pastor Wright is his day-to-day political advice,%u201D
Obama said. %u201CHe%u2019s much more of a sounding board for me to make sure that I am
speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible and that I%u2019m not losing
myself in some of the hype and hoopla and stress that%u2019s involved in national
politics.%u201D

your absolutely right some radical muslims are killing each other. lets not forget that america at one time engaged in a war the pit brothers and uncles against one another. the number of american lives lost in the civil war exceed any that have been lost in this one. let us also remember that we are the only the only nation to use a nuclear weapon.

And I bet they had a hell of a lot more praising it!

It''s exactly what was needed to ask Obama touch questions that he needed to answer...and he STILL lied and evaded.

On top of that he showed he has NO clue on any of the issues.

This man has no conscience or capability at all!

Senator Obama was ambushed. It was nothing but a tag team effort by the moderators and Senator Clinton to assassinate his character.

ABC should be ashamed. With American reaching a pivotal point in it''s history facing the worst trials both foreign and domestic in the last 1/2 century all they could do was ask questions about flag pins and the like.

Senator Obama tried throughout the night to turn the debate toward the actual issues and received 2 rounds of applause from the audience who were not suppose to applaud. He clearly won by refusing to engage in attacks against Clinton and continuing to try to focus on the burning issues that have made voters angry, bitter and frustrated all around the country for years.

My vote is for Senator Obama.

I alway said Geraldine Ferraro did not say anything wrong or untrue, and did not
deserve to be called a racist.
She was just the wrong color to say it..

It proved to be true when black BET president said the same thing, know one
called him a racist.

White America has lost their Equal Rights and Freedom of Speech..we lost them to
bullies like Al Sharpton..
It is time we stood up to bullies like him and say enough.
