- I have been a loyal Democrat for over 50 years. I have never been so ashamed of my party as I am right now. The main reason I have remained with them was because I have always considered it to be the party of fairness to all. This primary contest is far from over in spite of what the far left of the party want us to believe. For idiots like Richardson or Leahy to come out and publicly make irresponsible statements like that
sounds more like a Republican than a Democrat. If they want to negotiate with the candidates privately, that is different.
I give Senator Clinton credit for standing up for her rights and telling them to blow off.
This contest needs to be played out even if it goes all the way to the convention floor. That is how it is supposed to work. That is the Democratic Way. The last I heard, it takes 2024 delegates to win.
The reason that the Media is not allowed to announce results in national elections until after the polls close is so that it will not
unfairly influence voters who haven''t voted yet. The same principle should apply here.
Maybe you people yelling so loud that the contest is over need to go to Russia where Putin himself decided how things were to be done. - Reply to this comment
- The antics in this Dem campaign has opened the door for blacks to once again be the political bogey man and have their color and culture lampooned in an effort to get votes. Any black, or any other minority and any white who deeply cares about civil rights must say NO to this type of campaigning normally associated with the Republican party. For me, and the groups I influence, we have vowed to NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton or any Clinton, lest they come to believe this type of dividing campaign is validated and then blacks will have taken a step back--and will be the butts of both campaigns anytime a black runs for any significant office.
The Democratic party has turned out to be as divisive and racist as the Republican party--they just hid it better until now. Blacks should all become Independents, joining and maintaining loyalty to NEITHER party. As long as their votes are perceived as a loyal voting block--it will just make money for so called leaders but will always come with the assumption that no matter how blacks are treated--they will still vote a certain way. If Hillary ends up being the nominee--it is will be time for Blacks to make a hard choice. If they make the wrong choice of supporting Hillary, look for more black face, Geraldine Ferraro, Willie Horton and Tennessee Wink politics now to come from the Democrats as well as the GOP. If some want to play the race game using blacks--then blacks should ensure they know the cost of that. - Reply to this comment
- Obama:
I haven''t taken any money from oil companies.----- Except that 30 grand.
I only took 150 grand er 250 grand from Rezco.
I didn''t hear any of Wright''s incendiary remarks in the 20 years I was a member of his church.
My campaign doesn''t say one thing to the public and another to Canada regarding Nafta.
I never promised to accept public funds in a general election.
I didn''t vote present over 200 times.
I did hold meeting this year.
I have a lot of experience.

- America Is Not Ready for The Compassion that A Woman Leader Might Offer.
Okay it seems this race to the White House might be "fixed". With only a spread of some 100,000 votes and Hillary Clinton will be in the lead after Pennsylvania why is some leaders urging her to leave the race. Why aren''t they urging Obama to leave the race. She will have more of the popular vote shortly. Is it that this nation cannot have a WOMAN as President? Is that the real issue and not RACE? - Reply to this comment
- OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency today reports that the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr., long-time pastor of Barak Obama, published an op-ed piece signed by a Hamas leader. The item appeared in the July 22, 2007 edition of his Trinity United Church newspaper on the "Pastor''''''''s Page." The op-ed piece justifies attacks on Israeli civilians, and carries a supporting introduction by Mr. Wright.
Barak Obama issued a statement strongly condemning these views of his pastor. "I certainly wasn%u2019t in church when that outrageously wrong [Hamas] piece was re-printed in the bulletin,%u201D Obama added.
Obama is a long-time member of Trinity United, and his financial contributions to his church are reported to be substantial ("All told, the [Obama] couple gave $27,500 to [Trinity United] in 2005 and 2006," according to the New York Times of March 26). His moral support to the church has been unwavering. As more and more and more details of the extremist political positions of the church are revealed, Obama''''''''s response has been to distance himself from these, but also to repeat, over and over, that he didn''''''''t know, that he wasn''''''''t there.
I find it very difficult to believe that an intelligent, energetic, and very political man like Obama is perpetually ignorant about what goes on in the church to which he devotes so many of his resources. If he does get to the White House, will he be in similar ignorance about the goings on of his administration ? - Reply to this comment

- PEOPLE WITH NOTHING TO HIDE DONT USUALLY HIDE !!
Why wont Hillary release her tax returns? If Hillary can loan 5 million dollars to her campaign then surely the voters have a right to know the source of her funding.
The main excuse we''ve gotten so far is that Hillary Clinton just has too much on her plate. "I''m a little busy right now," she said during the Ohio debate. "I hardly have time to sleep. But I will certainly work toward releasing, and we will get that done and in the public domain."
That was three weeks ago. Two weeks ago, Howard Wolfson promised the returns would be released "on or around April 15." But weren''t the returns completed and filed a long time ago? Doesn''t Clinton''s accountant have time to print them out and make some copies (note to Clinton''s accountant: many Kinko''s are open 24 hours).
In short, it''s well past time for Hillary Clinton to be as "vetted" as she claims to already be -- and to have this vetting done now by Democratic voters rather than later by GOP hit squads. She needs to live up to the standard she laid out for Rick Lazio, the opponent in her 2000 Senate race. At that time, she hypocritically said it was "FRANKLY DISTURBING" that Lazio was holding back on releasing his tax returns and she even sent a staffer dressed as Uncle Sam to taunt him during campaign stops.
What a difference eight years -- and tens of millions of dollars (some of them from questionable Arab deals) -- can make. - Reply to this comment
- OBAMA PEOPLE,BACK OFF THE HILLARY KRISHNAS.HERE''''S WHY.
I''''m beginning to think Rowdy and the other Clinton people are right about Hillary needing to stay in the race.In fact,it could end up being one of the best things that ever happened to the democratic party. To get rid of the Clintons once and for all.She is already losing on every front that counts inspite of what some people say.The longer she stays in,the more it distracts attention from Obamas'''' so called racism/anti-americanism,the more people get fed up with her,and there''''s a better than 50/50 chance that she or Bill will end up making more blunders, since neither one of them can keep their mouths shut.Obama has more than proven that he can handle her attacks, and even beat her at her own game.If it goes through the whole process, and Obama wins, the Hillary Krishnas have nothing to whine about, and most will still vote for Obama. The rest that threaten to vote for McCain will be insignificant, and shouldn''''t make any difference in the outcome.-----Continued below. - Reply to this comment
- Continued from above.
Hillary will look like the stupidest person in history to everyone if it goes all the way to the convention and she loses, although most of us already know she is stupid,LOL.She is already perceived as being harmful to the party, and when you total it all up,it could very well end her career, and we''''d never have to put up with her again.Me,I''''m pulling for Hillary now.I want her to keep on with her blundering and take it all the way to the convention.Lose, lose, lose, and keep on with your idiotic persistance.Ruin your chance for ever being president, and make yourself so much of a laughingstock that New York is ashamed of you,LOL!Go Hillary! On to your ultimate destruction and political ruin!Hillary in...well,never.LOL! - Reply to this comment
- HILLARY%u2026 WANTS TO DESTROY DEMOCRATS CHANCES OF WINNING
Hillary trails Obama by every measure, and it''s obvious to everyone that she has virtually no hope of winning the nomination.
Yet the former first lady trudges on in some phantom contest oblivious to the sea of doubt around her.
She is completely unwilling to accept the cruel truth that she has been rejected by her own party.
She was first lady, for cryin'' out loud! She is the queen of this party!
No one she trusts has the courage to tell her she''s done, much less force her into the car to take her home.
So on we march, scandal after scandal, contest after contest, hoping with each one that she finally accepts what everyone else began realizing long ago.
And the certainty with which she recalled all that sniper fire raining down on her as she ran out after landing in Bosnia 12 years ago convinced others that she''s nearly gone out of her mind.
She has become disassociated from reality leading many to believe she''s staying in the race only to damage Obama so badly that he can''t win in November, thus leaving the Democratic ticket open for her to run again in 2012. - Reply to this comment
